< Psaltaren 110 >
1 En Psalm Davids. Herren sade till min Herra: Sätt dig på mina högra hand, tilldess jag lägger dina fiendar till din fotapall.
[A Psalm by David.] The LORD says to my Lord, "Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."
2 Herren skall sända dins rikes spiro utaf Zion; var rådandes ibland dina fiendar.
The LORD will send forth the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies.
3 Efter din seger skall ditt folk välviljeliga offra dig i heligo prydning; dine barn varda dig födde såsom daggen af morgonrodnaden.
Your people offer themselves willingly on the day of your power. On the holy mountains at sunrise the dew of your youth will be yours.
4 Herren hafver svorit, och honom skall det intet ångra: Du äst en Prest evinnerliga, efter Melchisedeks sätt.
The LORD has sworn, and will not change his mind: "You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek."
5 Herren på dine högra hand skall slå Konunga i sine vredes tid.
The LORD is at your right hand. He will crush kings in the day of his wrath.
6 Han skall döma ibland Hedningarna; han skall göra stora slagtningar. Han skall sönderkrossa hufvudet öfver stor land.
He will judge among the nations. He will heap up dead bodies. He will shatter the head throughout a vast territory.
7 Han skall dricka af bäcken på vägenom, derföre skall han upphäfva hufvudet.
He will drink of the brook in the way; therefore he will lift up his head.
