Aionian Verses
Och alle hans söner och döttrar gingo till, att de skulle hugsvala honom; men han ville icke låta hugsvala sig, och sade: Jag varder med sorg nederfarande i grafvena till min son. Och hans fader gret honom. (Sheol h7585)
Then all his sonnes and all his daughters rose vp to comfort him, but he woulde not be comforted, but said, Surely I will go downe into the graue vnto my sonne mourning: so his father wept for him. (Sheol h7585)
Han sade: Min son skall icke fara ned med eder; ty hans broder är död, och han är allena igenblifven: Om honom vederfores något ondt i vägen, der I resten, vorden I drifvandes min grå hår med sorg neder i grafvena. (Sheol h7585)
But he said, My sonne shall not go downe with you: for his brother is dead, and he is left alone: if death come vnto him by the way which ye goe, then ye shall bring my gray head with sorow vnto the graue. (Sheol h7585)
Skolen I ock taga denna ifrå mig, och honom vederfars något ondt, så varden I drifvande min grå hår med sorg ned i grafvena. (Sheol h7585)
Nowe yee take this also away from me: if death take him, then yee shall bring my graye head in sorowe to the graue. (Sheol h7585)
Så sker det, då han ser, att pilten icke är tillstädes, att han dör: Så vorde vi dine tjenare, dins tjenares, vårs faders grå hår förande med jämmer ned i grafvena. (Sheol h7585)
Then when hee shall see that the childe is not come, he will die: so shall thy seruants bring the graye head of thy seruant our father with sorowe to the graue. (Sheol h7585)
Men om Herren gör här något nytt, så att jorden öppnar sin mun, och uppslukar dem, med allt det de hafva, att de lefvande fara neder i helvetet; så skolen I förstå, att desse männerna hafva försmädat Herran. (Sheol h7585)
But if the Lord make a newe thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallowe them vp with all that they haue, and they goe downe quicke into ye pit, then ye shall vnderstand that these men haue prouoked the Lord. (Sheol h7585)
Och de foro lefvande neder i helvetet, med allt det de hade; och jorden öfvertäckte dem; och de förgingos utu menighetene. (Sheol h7585)
So they and all that they had, went down aliue into the pit, and the earth couered them: so they perished from among the Congregation. (Sheol h7585)
Elden är upptänd i mine vrede, och skall brinna intill det nedersta helvetet; och skall förtära landet med sin växt, och skall uppbränna bergsgrunden. (Sheol h7585)
For fire is kindled in my wrath, and shall burne vnto the bottome of hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountaines. (Sheol h7585)
Herren dödar, och gifver lif; förer till helvete, och derut igen. (Sheol h7585)
The Lord killeth and maketh aliue: bringeth downe to the graue and raiseth vp. (Sheol h7585)

Molnet varder allt, och går bort; så ock den som far neder i helvetet, han kommer icke upp igen; (Sheol h7585)
As the cloude vanisheth and goeth away, so he that goeth downe to the graue, shall come vp no more. (Sheol h7585)

They spend their dayes in wealth, and suddenly they go downe to the graue. (Sheol h7585)

The way of life is on high to the prudent, to auoyde from hell beneath. (Sheol h7585)

Thou shalt smite him with the rodde, and shalt deliuer his soule from hell. (Sheol h7585)
Helvetet och förderfvet varda aldrig full, och menniskornas ögon varda ock aldrig mätt. (Sheol h7585)
The graue and destruction can neuer be full, so the eyes of man can neuer be satisfied. (Sheol h7585)
Helvetet, en ofruktsam qvinnos lif; jorden varder icke af vattnet mätt; och elden säger icke: Det är nog. (Sheol h7585)
The graue, and the barren wombe, the earth that cannot be satisfied with water, and the fire that sayeth not, It is ynough. (Sheol h7585)

Therefore hell hath inlarged it selfe, and hath opened his mouth, without measure, and their glorie, and their multitude, and their pompe, and hee that reioyceth among them, shall descend into it. (Sheol h7585)

Aske a signe for thee of the Lord thy God: aske it, either in the depth beneath or in the height aboue. (Sheol h7585)

Hel beneath is mooued for thee to meete thee at thy comming, raising vp the deade for thee, euen all the princes of the earth, and hath raised from their thrones all the Kinges of the nations. (Sheol h7585)
Ditt prål är neder till helvete faret, samt med dina harpors klingande; mal skall vara din säng, och matkar ditt öfvertäckelse. (Sheol h7585)
Thy pompe is brought downe to ye graue, and the sounde of thy violes: the worme is spred vnder thee, and the wormes couer thee. (Sheol h7585)

Att edart förbund med döden skall löst varda, och edart förvetande med helvetet skall icke bestå, och när en flod går fram, skall hon förtrampa eder. (Sheol h7585)
And your couenant with death shalbe disanulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand: when a scourge shall runne ouer and passe through, then shall ye be trode downe by it. (Sheol h7585)

Detta säger Herren Herren: På den tiden, då han nederfor till helvetes, då gjorde jag en klagolåt, att djupet öfvertäckte honom, och hans strömmar måste stilla stå, och de stora vattnen intet löpa kunde; och gjorde det så, att Libanon sörjde öfver honom, och all trä i markene förtorkades öfver honom. The most mighty and strong shall speake to him out of the mids of hell with them that helpe her: they are gone downe and sleepe with the vncircumcised that be slaine by the sworde. (Sheol h7585)

And they shall not lie with the valiant of the vncircumcised, that are fallen, which are gone down to the graue, with their weapons of warre, and haue laied their swords vnder their heads, but their iniquitie shalbe vpon their bones: because they were the feare of the mighty in the lande of the liuing. Men jag vill förlossa dem utu helvete, och hjelpa dem ifrå döden; död, jag skall vara dig ett förgift; helvete, jag skall vara dig en plåga; dock är trösten fördold för min ögon; (Sheol h7585)
I wil redeeme them from the power of the graue: I will deliuer them from death: O death, I wil be thy death: O graue, I will be thy destruction: repentance is hid from mine eyes. (Sheol h7585)

Och han fick se ett fikonaträ vid vägen, och gick dertill, och fann intet deruppå, utan allenast löf; och sade till det: Växe aldrig härefter frukt på dig. Och fikonaträt blef straxt torrt. (aiōn g165)
And seeing a figge tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaues onely, and said to it, Neuer fruite grow on thee henceforwards. And anon the figge tree withered. (aiōn g165)
