Nehemja 3
1 Och Eljasib, öfverste Presten, stod upp med sina bröder Presterna, och byggde fåraporten; honom helgade de, och satte in hans dörrar; men de helgade honom allt intill det tornet Mea, nämliga allt intill det tornet Hananeel.
Then rose up Elyashib the high priest with his brethren the priests, and they built the sheep-gate; they sanctified it, and set up its doors: even as far as the tower of Meah did they sanctify it, as far as the tower of Chananel.
2 Bredevid dem byggde de män af Jericho; och näst dem byggde Saccur, Imri son.
And by his side built the men of Jericho. And by his [other] side built Zaccur the son of Imri.
3 Men fiskaporten byggde Senaa barn; honom täckte de, och satte in hans dörrar, lås och bommar.
But the fish-gate did the sons of Hassenaah build: they also laid its beams, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
4 Näst dem byggde Meremoth, Uria son, Hakkoz sons; näst dem byggde Mesullam, Berechia son, Mesesabeels sons; näst dem byggde Zadok, Baana son.
And alongside of them repaired Meremoth the son of Uriyah, the son of Kakkoz. And alongside of them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechyah, the son of Meshezabel. And alongside of them repaired Zadok the son of Ba'ana.
5 Näst dem byggde de af Thekoa; men deras väldige böjde icke sin hals till sins herras tjenst.
And alongside of them repaired the Teko'ites; but their principal men put not their necks to the work of their Lord.
6 Den gamla porten byggde Jojada, Paseahs son, och Mesullam, Besodeja son; honom täckte de, och satte in hans dörrar, och lås och bommar.
Moreover the old gate repaired Yoyada' the son of Passeach, and Meshullam the son of Bessodeyah: they laid its beams, and set up its doors, and its locks, and its bars.
7 Näst dem byggde Melatia af Gibeon, och Jadon af Merono, män af Gibeon och Mizpa, på landshöfdingans säte, på denna sidon älfven.
And alongside of them repaired Melatyah the Gib'onite, and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gib'on and of Mizpah, unto the seat of the governor on this side of the river.
8 Näst efter honom byggde Ussiel, Harhaja son, guldsmeden; näst honom byggde Hanania, apothekarens son, och de förstärkte Jerusalem allt intill de breda murar.
Alongside of him repaired 'Uzziel the son of Charhayah, of the goldsmiths. And alongside of him repaired Chananyah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem as far as the broad wall.
9 Näst honom byggde Rephaja, Hurs son, öfversten öfver en half fjerding af Jerusalem.
And alongside of them repaired Rephayah the son of Chur, the chief of the half of the district of Jerusalem.
10 Näst honom byggde Jedaja, Harumaphs son, tvärtöfver sitt hus; näst honom byggde Hattus, Hasabenja son.
And alongside of them repaired Jedayah the son of Charumaph, and this opposite to his house. And alongside of him repaired Chattush the son of Chashabneyah.
11 Men Malchija, Harims son, och Hasub, Pahath Moabs son, byggde ett annat stycke, och tornet med ugnarna.
Another division did Malkiyah the son of Charim, and Chashub the son of Pachathmoab, repair, as also the tower of the ovens.
12 Näst honom byggde Sallum, Halohes son, öfversten för en half fjerding i Jerusalem, han och hans döttrar.
And alongside of him repaired Shallum the son of Hallochesh, the chief of the other half of the district of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.
13 Dalporten byggde Hanun och borgarena af Sanoah; de byggde honom, och satte in hans dörrar, och lås och bommar, och tusende alnar på murenom allt intill dyngoporten.
The gate of the valley repaired Chanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoach: they built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and a thousand cubits of the wall as far as the dung-gate.
14 Men dyngoporten byggde Malchija, Rechabs son, öfversten i vingårdsmännernas fjerding; han byggde honom, och satte in hans dörrar, lås och bommar.
And the dung-gate repaired Malkiyah the son of Rechah, the chief of the district of Beth-hakkerem: he built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
15 Brunnporten byggde Sallum, CholHose son, en öfverste för en fjerding i Mizpa; han byggde honom, och täckten, och satte in hans dörrar, lås och bommar; dertill ock murarna vid dammen Selah, vid Konungsörtagården, allt intill trapporna, som gå nederåt ifrå Davids stad.
And the gate of the fountain repaired Shallum the son of Col-chozeh, the chief of the district of Mizpah: he built it and covered it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and the wall of the pool of Shelach by the king's garden, and as far as the stairs that lead down from the city of David.
16 Näst honom byggde Nehemia, Asbuks son, öfversten för den halfva fjerdingen i BethZur, allt intill gentemot Davids grafvar, och allt intill den dammen Asuja, och allt intill de väldigas hus.
Next to him repaired Nehemiah the son of 'Azbuk, the chief of the half district of Beth-zur, as far as the place opposite to the sepulchres of David, and as far as the pool that was [newly] made, and as far as the house of the mighty men.
17 Efter honom byggde de Leviter, Rehum, Bani son; bredevid honom byggde Hasabia, öfversten för halfva fjerdingen i Kegila, i hans fjerding.
Next to him repaired the Levites: Rechum the son of Bani. Alongside of him repaired Chashabyah, the chief of the half district of Ke'ilah, for his district.
18 Efter honom byggde deras bröder Bavai, Henadads son, öfversten för en half fjerding i Kegila.
Next to him repaired their brethren: Bavai the son of Chenadad, the chief of the [other] half district of Ke'ilah.
19 Efter honom byggde Eser, Jesua son, öfversten i Mizpa, ett annat stycke, inåt harneskhushörnet.
And there repaired alongside of him 'Ezer the son of Joshua, the chief of Mizpah, another division, opposite to the ascent to the armory at the angle.
20 Efter honom, uppå berget, byggde Baruch, Sabbi son, ett annat stycke, ifrå hörnet allt intill Eljasibs öfversta Prestens husdörr.
Next to him did Baruch the son of Zaccai' earnestly repair another division, from the angle as far as the door of the house of Elyashib the high priest.
21 Efter honom byggde Meremoth, Uria son, Hakkoz sons, ett annat stycke, ifrån Eljasibs husdörr, allt intill ändan af Eljasibs hus.
Next to him repaired Meremoth the son of Uriyah the son of Hakkoz another division, from the door of the house of Elyashib even as far as the end of the house of Elyashib.
22 Efter honom byggde Presterna, de män af landsbygdene.
And next to him repaired the priests, the men of the plain [of Jordan].
23 Efter dem byggde BenJamin och Hasub, tvärsöfver deras hus; efter dem byggde Asaria, Maaseja son, Anania sons, jemte sitt hus.
Next to him repaired Benjamin and Chashub opposite to their house. Next to him repaired 'Azaryah the son of Ma'aseyah the son of 'Ananyah alongside of his house.
24 Efter honom byggde Binnui, Henadads son, ett annat stycke, ifrån Asaria hus intill båget, och allt intill hörnet;
Next to him repaired Binnui the son of Chenadad another division, from the house of 'Azaryah as far as the angle, and as far as the corner.
25 Palal, Usai son, emot båget, och det höga tornet, som synes utaf Konungshuset, vid fångahusens gård; efter honom Pedaja, Paros son.
Palal the son of Uzai [repaired] from opposite to the angle, and the tower which standeth out from the king's upper house, that was by the court of the prison. Next to him Pedayah the son of Par'osh.
26 Men de Nethinim bodde uti Ophel, allt intill vattuporten österut, der tornet ut synes.
And the temple-servants dwelt on the hill fort, [and they built] as far as opposite to the water-gate toward the east, and the tower that standeth out.
27 Efter dem byggde de af Thekoa ett annat stycke, tvärtemot det stora tornet, som ut synes, allt intill murarna Ophel.
Next to them repaired the Teko'ites another division from opposite the great tower that standeth out, and as far as the wall of the hill fort.
28 Men ifrå hästaporten byggde Presterna, hvardera emot sitt hus.
From above the horse-gate repaired the priests, every one opposite to his house.
29 Efter dem byggde Zadok, Immers son, emot sitt hus; efter honom byggde Semaja, Sechania son, den dörravaktaren, östantill.
Next to this repaired Zadok the son of Immer opposite to his house. And next to him repaired Shema'yah the son of Schechanyah, the keeper of the east gate.
30 Efter honom byggde Hanania, Selemia son, och Hanun, Zalaphs son, den sjette, ett annat stycke; efter honom byggde Mesullam, Berechia son, emot sin fatabur.
Next to him repaired Chananyah the son of Shelemyah, and Chanun the sixth son of Zalaph another division. Next to him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechyah opposite to his chamber.
31 Efter honom byggde Malchija guldsmedssonen, allt intill de Nethinims och krämares hus, emot rådsporten, och intill hörnsalen.
Next to him repaired Malkiyah the goldsmith's son as far as the house of the temple-servants, and of the merchants, opposite to the mustering-gate, and to the upper chamber of the corner.
32 Och emellan hörnsalen allt intill fåraporten byggde guldsmederna och krämarena.
And between the upper chamber of the corner and the sheep-gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
