Mika 5

1 Men nu, du krigerska, rusta dig; ty man skall belägga oss, och slå Israels domare uppå kindbenet med ris.

Now you will cut yourself O daughter of troop[s] a siege someone has set on us with rod they will strike on the cheek [the] judge of Israel.

2 Och du BethLehem Ephrata, som liten äst ibland de tusende i Juda; utaf dig skall mig den komma som i Israel en Herre vara skall; hvilkens utgång varit hafver af begynnelsen, och af evighet.

And you O Beth-lehem Ephrathah [are] insignificant to be among [the] families of Judah from you for me someone will go out to be ruler over Israel and origins his [are] from antiquity from days of antiquity.

3 Han låter plåga dem, allt intill den tiden, att hon, som föda skall, födt hafver. Så skola då de hans igenlefde bröder igen, komma till Israels barn.

Therefore he will deliver up them until a time [when one who is] about to give birth she has given birth and [the] rest of brothers his they will return! with [the] people of Israel.

4 Men han skall träda fram och regera uti Herrans kraft, och uti sins Herras Guds Namns härlighet, och de skola bo säkert; ty han skall på den samma tiden varda härlig, så vidt som verlden är.

And he will stand and he will shepherd by [the] strength of Yahweh by [the] majesty of [the] name of Yahweh God his and they will remain for now he will be great to [the] ends of [the] earth.

5 Dertill skole vi ock hafva frid för Assur, den nu uti värt land infallen är, och väl hus förtrampat hafver; ty sju herdar och åtta Förstar skola öfver honom uppväckte varda;

And he will be this [one] peace Assyria - for it will come in land our and for it will tread on fortresses our and we will raise up on him seven shepherds and eight princes of man.

6 De der Assurs land förderfva skola med svärd, och Nimrods land med deras bara vapen. Alltså skole vi ifrån Assur frälste varda, den uti vårt land infallen är, och våra gränsor förtrampat hafver.

And they will shepherd [the] land of Assyria with the sword and [the] land of Nimrod at entrances its and he will deliver [us] from Assyria if it will come in land our and for it will tread in territory our.

7 Och skola de qvarlefde af Jacob vara ibland mång folk, lika som en dagg af Herranom, och såsom dropparna på gräset, det efter ingen bidar, eller efter menniskor väntar.

And it will be - [the] remnant of Jacob in [the] midst of peoples many like dew from with Yahweh like copious showers on vegetation which not it waits for anyone and not it waits for [the] children of humankind.

8 Ja, de qvarlefde af Jacob skola vara ibland Hedningarna när mång folk, lika som ett lejon ibland djuren i skogenom, såsom ett ungt lejon ibland en fårahjord; den ingen afdrifva kan, när han drager derigenom, nedertrampar och rifver.

And it will be [the] remnant of Jacob among the nations in [the] midst of peoples many like a lion among [the] animals of [the] forest like a young lion (among flocks of *L(abh)*) sheep which if it has passed through and it tramples and it tears and there not [is] a deliverer.

9 Ty dill hand skall behålla segren emot alla dina fiendar, att alle dine ovänner måste utrotade varda.

May it be lifted up hand your above opponents your and all enemies your may they be cut off.

10 På den samma tiden, säger Herren, skall jag taga dina hästar ifrå dig, och förgöra dina vagnar;

And it will be in the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will cut off horses your from midst your and I will destroy chariots your.

11 Och utrota dins lands städer, och bryta neder all din fäste;

And I will cut off [the] cities of land your and I will tear down all fortresses your.

12 Och skall utrota de trollkarlar när dig, att inge tecknatydare när dig blifva skola.

And I will cut off sorceries from hand your and soothsayers not they will belong to you.

13 Jag skall förgöra din beläte och afgudar ifrå dig, att du icke mer skall tillbedja dina händers verk.

And I will cut off images your and sacred pillars your from midst your and not you will bow down again to [the] work of hands your.

14 Och jag skall nederhugga dina lundar, och förlägga dina städer.

And I will pluck up Asherah poles your from midst your and I will destroy cities your.

15 Och jag skall drifva hämnd med grymhet och vrede, på alle de Hedningar som icke böra vilja.

And I will do in anger and in rage vengeance with the nations which not they have obeyed.
