Lukas 20
1 Och det begaf sig på en af de dagar, att han lärde folket i templet, och predikade Evangelium; då församlade sig de öfverste Presterna, och de Skriftlärde, med de Äldsta;
And it came to pass, on one of those days, as he is teaching the people in the temple, and proclaiming good news, the chief priests and the scribes, with the elders, came upon [him],
2 Och sade till honom: Säg oss, af hvad magt gör du detta? Eller ho är den som hafver gifvit dig denna magten?
and spake unto him, saying, 'Tell us by what authority thou dost these things? or who is he that gave to thee this authority?'
3 Svarade Jesus, och sade till dem: Jag vill ock spörja eder ett ord; svarer I mig:
And he answering said unto them, 'I will question you — I also — one thing, and tell me:
4 Var Johannis döpelse af himmelen, eller af menniskor?
the baptism of John, from heaven was it, or from men?'
5 Då begynte de tänka vid sig, sägande: Sägom vi, af himmelen; då säger han: Hvi trodden I icke honom då?
And they reasoned with themselves, saying — 'If we may say, From heaven, he will say, Wherefore, then, did ye not believe him?
6 Men sägom vi, af menniskor då stenar oss allt folket; ty de hålla det ju så före, att Johannes var en Prophet.
and if we may say, From men, all the people will stone us, for they are having been persuaded John to be a prophet.'
7 Ty svarade de, att de icke visste, hvadan den var.
And they answered, that they knew not whence [it was],
8 Då sade Jesus till dem: Icke heller säger jag eder, med hvad magt jag detta gör.
and Jesus said to them, 'Neither do I say to you by what authority I do these things.'
9 Och han begynte säga till folket denna liknelsen: En man planterade en vingård, och fick honom ut vingårdsmannom, och for bort i främmande land i lång tid.
And he began to speak unto the people this simile: 'A certain man planted a vineyard, and gave it out to husbandmen, and went abroad for a long time,
10 När tid var, sände han en tjenare till vingårdsmännerna, att de skulle låta honom få af vingårdsens frukt; men vingårdsmännerna hudflängde honom, och sänden ifrå sig med tomma händer.
and at the season he sent unto the husbandmen a servant, that from the fruit of the vineyard they may give to him, but the husbandmen having beat him, did send [him] away empty.
11 Sedan sände han ock en annan tjenare; den hudflängde de ock, och försmädde honom, och sänden ifrå sig med tomma händer.
'And he added to send another servant, and they that one also having beaten and dishonoured, did send away empty;
12 Åter sände han den tredje; den gjorde de ock såran, och drefvo honom ut.
and he added to send a third, and this one also, having wounded, they did cast out.
13 Då sade vingårdsherren: Hvad skall jag göra? Jag vill sända min älskeliga son; kan hända att, då de se honom, hafva de försyn för honom.
'And the owner of the vineyard said, What shall I do? I will send my son — the beloved, perhaps having seen this one, they will do reverence;
14 Då vingårdsmännerna fingo se honom, tänkte de vid sig sjelfva, sägande: Denne är arfvingen; kommer, vi vilje slå honom ihjäl, att arfvedelen må blifva vår.
and having seen him, the husbandmen reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir; come, we may kill him, that the inheritance may become ours;
15 Och så drefvo de honom utu vingården, och dråpo honom. Hvad skall nu vingårdsherren göra dem samma?
and having cast him outside of the vineyard, they killed [him]; what, then, shall the owner of the vineyard do to them?
16 Han skall komma, och förgöra dessa vingårdsmännerna, och utfå vingården androm. När de detta hörde, sade de: Bort det.
He will come, and destroy these husbandmen, and will give the vineyard to others.' And having heard, they said, 'Let it not be!'
17 Då såg han på dem, och sade: Hvad är då det som skrifvet står: Den stenen, som byggningsmännerna bortkastade, han är vorden en hörnsten?
and he, having looked upon them, said, 'What, then, is this that hath been written: A stone that the builders rejected — this became head of a corner?
18 Hvilken som faller uppå den stenen, han varder krossad; men den han uppå faller, honom slår han all sönder i stycken.
every one who hath fallen on that stone shall be broken, and on whom it may fall, it will crush him to pieces.'
19 Och öfverste Presterna, med de Skriftlärda, sökte efter att de kunde få taga fatt på honom i samma stunden; men de räddes för folket; ty de förstodo, att han hade sagt denna liknelsen emot dem.
And the chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on him in that hour, and they feared the people, for they knew that against them he spake this simile.
20 Och de aktade på honom, och sände ut väktare, som låtos vara rättfärdige; på det de skulle taga honom vid orden, och öfverantvarda honom herrskapet, och i landsherrans våld.
And, having watched [him], they sent forth liers in wait, feigning themselves to be righteous, that they might take hold of his word, to deliver him up to the rule and to the authority of the governor,
21 Och de frågade honom, sägande: Mästar, vi vete att du säger och lärer det rätt är, och ser icke till personen, utan lärer Guds väg rätt.
and they questioned him, saying, 'Teacher, we have known that thou dost say and teach rightly, and dost not accept a person, but in truth the way of God dost teach;
22 Är det rätt, att vi gifve Kejsaren skatt, eller ej?
Is it lawful to us to give tribute to Caesar or not?'
23 Då han förmärkte deras illfundighet, sade han till dem: Hvi fresten I mig?
And he, having perceived their craftiness, said unto them, 'Why me do ye tempt?
24 Låter mig få se penningen; hvars beläte och öfverskrift hafver han? Svarade de, och sade: Kejsarens.
shew me a denary; of whom hath it an image and superscription?' and they answering said, 'Of Caesar:'
25 Sade han till dem: Så gifver nu Kejsarenom det Kejsarenom tillhörer, och Gudi det Gudi tillhörer.
and he said to them, 'Give back, therefore, the things of Caesar to Caesar, and the things of God to God;'
26 Och de kunde icke straffa hans tal, för folket; utan förundrade sig på hans svar, och tigde.
and they were not able to take hold on his saying before the people, and having wondered at his answer, they were silent.
27 Då gingo någre fram till honom af de Sadduceer, hvilke der neka uppståndelsen, och frågade honom,
And certain of the Sadducees, who are denying that there is a rising again, having come near, questioned him,
28 Sägande: Mästar, Moses hafver skrifvit oss, att om någors mans broder blifver död, den hustru hafver, och dör barnlös, att hans broder skall taga hans hustru, och uppväcka sinom broder säd.
saying, 'Teacher, Moses wrote to us, If any one's brother may die, having a wife, and he may die childless — that his brother may take the wife, and may raise up seed to his brother.
29 Så voro nu sju bröder; och den förste tog sig hustru, och blef död barnlös.
'There were, then, seven brothers, and the first having taken a wife, died childless,
30 Och den andre tog henne, och blef ock desslikes död barnlös.
and the second took the wife, and he died childless,
31 Den tredje tog henne; sammalunda ock alle sju, och läto inga barn efter sig, och blefvo döde.
and the third took her, and in like manner also the seven — they left not children, and they died;
32 Sist, efter dem alla, blef ock qvinnan död.
and last of all died also the woman:
33 Uti uppståndelsen, hvilkensderas hustru skall hon vara, efter det sju hade haft henne till hustru?
in the rising again, then, of which of them doth she become wife? — for the seven had her as wife.'
34 Då svarade Jesus, och sade till dem: Denna verldenes barn taga sig hustrur och gifvas mannom. (aiōn g165)
And Jesus answering said to them, 'The sons of this age do marry and are given in marriage, (aiōn g165)
35 Men de som varda värdige till den verldena, och till uppståndelsen ifrå de döda, de hvarken taga hustrur, eller gifvas manne; (aiōn g165)
but those accounted worthy to obtain that age, and the rising again that is out of the dead, neither marry, nor are they given in marriage; (aiōn g165)
36 Och ej heller kunna de mera dö; ty de varda like med Änglarna, och äro Guds barn, medan de äro uppståndelsens barn.
for neither are they able to die any more — for they are like messengers — and they are sons of God, being sons of the rising again.
37 Men att de döde uppstå, bevisade Moses vid buskan, då han kallade Herran Abrahams Gud, och Isaacs Gud, och Jacobs Gud.
'And that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the Bush, since he doth call the Lord, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob;
38 Gud är icke de dödas, utan de lefvandes Gud; ty honom lefva alle.
and He is not a God of dead men, but of living, for all live to Him.'
39 Då svarade någre af de Skriftlärda, sägande: Mästar, du sade rätt.
And certain of the scribes answering said, 'Teacher, thou didst say well;'
40 Och de djerfdes icke yttermera något fråga honom.
and no more durst they question him anything.
41 Men han sade till dem: Huru säga de Christum vara Davids Son?
And he said unto them, 'How do they say the Christ to be son of David,
42 Och sjelfver David säger i Psalmboken: Herren sade till min Herra: Sätt dig på mina högra hand;
and David himself saith in the Book of Psalms, The Lord said to my lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
43 Tilldess jag nederlägger dina ovänner dig till en fotapall.
till I shall make thine enemies thy footstool;
44 Så kallar nu David honom Herra; huru är han då hans Son?
David, then, doth call him lord, and how is he his son?'
45 Då sade han till sina Lärjungar, uti allt folkens åhöro:
And, all the people hearing, he said to his disciples,
46 Tager eder vara för de Skriftlärda, som vilja gå uti sid kläder, och vilja gerna varda helsade på torgen, och sitta främst i Synagogorna, och sitta främst i gästabåden.
'Take heed of the scribes, who are wishing to walk in long robes, and are loving salutations in the markets, and first seats in the synagogues, and first couches in the suppers,
47 De uppfräta enkors hus, förebärande långa böner; de skola få dess större fördömelse.
who devour the houses of the widows, and for a pretence make long prayers, these shall receive more abundant judgment.'
