3 Mosebok 26

1 I skolen icke göra eder några afgudar, eller beläte, icke heller uppresa eder några stodar, icke heller någon vårdsten sätta uti edro lande, till att tillbedja derföre; ty jag är Herren edar Gud.

Ye shall make you none idoles nor grauen image, neither reare you vp any pillar, neither shall ye set any image of stone in your land to bow downe to it: for I am the Lord your God.

2 Håller mina Sabbather, och frukter eder för min helgedom. Jag är Herren.

Ye shall keepe my Sabbaths, and reuerence my Sanctuarie: I am the Lord.

3 Om I vandren i minom stadgom, och hållen min bud, och gören dem;

If ye walke in mine ordinances, and keepe my commandements, and doe them,

4 Så skall jag gifva eder regn i sinom tid; landet skall gifva sin växt, och trän på markene bära sina frukt.

I will then sende you raine in due season, and the land shall yelde her increase, and the trees of the fielde shall giue her fruite.

5 Och tröskotiden skall räcka intill vinandena, och vinanden skall räcka intill sädestiden. Och I skolen hafva bröd nog, och skolen tryggeliga bo i edro lande.

And your threshing shall reache vnto the vintage, and the vintage shall reache vnto sowing time, and you shall eate your bread in plenteousnesse, and dwell in your land safely.

6 Jag skall gifva frid i edro lande, att I skolen sofva, och ingen förfära eder. Jag skall låta komma de onda djur utur edro lande, och intet svärd skall gå genom edart land.

And I will sende peace in the land, and ye shall sleepe and none shall make you afraid: also I will rid euill beastes out of the lande, and the sworde shall not go through your lande.

7 I skolen jaga edra fiendar, och de skola falla för eder genom svärd.

Also ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you vpon the sworde.

8 Fem af eder skola jaga hundrade, och hundrade af eder skola jaga tiotusende; ty edra fiender skola falla för eder genom svärd.

And fiue of you shall chase an hundreth, and an hundreth of you shall put ten thousande to flight, and your enemies shall fall before you vpon the sworde.

9 Och jag skall vända mig till eder; jag skall föröka eder, och låta eder växa till, och jag skall göra mitt förbund fast med eder.

For I will haue respect vnto you, and make you encrease, and multiplie you, and establish my couenant with you.

10 Och I skolen äta af det gamla, så att I skolen låta det gamla fara för det nya.

Ye shall eate also olde store, and cary out olde because of the newe.

11 Jag skall hafva min boning ibland eder, och min själ skall icke förkasta eder.

And I will set my Tabernacle among you, and my soule shall not lothe you.

12 Och jag skall vandra ibland eder, och skall vara edar Gud, så skolen I vara mitt folk.

Also I will walke among you, and I wil be your God, and ye shalbe my people.

13 Ty jag är Herren edar Gud, den eder utur Egypti land fört hafver, att I icke skullen vara deras trälar; och hafver sönderbrutit edart ok, och hafver låtit eder gå rätta.

I am the Lord your God which haue brought you out of the lande of Egypt, that yee should not be their bondmen, and I haue broken ye bonds of your yoke, and made you goe vpright.

14 Men om I icke hören mig, och icke gören dessa buden all;

But if ye will not obey me, nor do all these commandements,

15 Utan förakten mina stadgar, och edra själar förkasta mina rätter, så att I icke gören all min bud, och låten mitt förbund tillbaka;

And if ye shall despise mine ordinances, either if your soule abhorre my lawes, so that yee will not do all my commandements, but breake my couenant,

16 Så skall jag ock då göra eder detta: Jag skall hemsöka eder med förskräckelse, svullnad, och skälfvo, att edor ansigte förfalla, och edra kroppar försmäkta skola; I skolen fåfängt så edra säd, och edre fiender skola äta henne.

Then wil I also do this vnto you, I wil appoint ouer you fearefulnes, a consumption, and the burning ague to consume the eyes, and make the heart heauie, and you shall sowe your seede in vaine: for your enemies shall eate it:

17 Och jag skall ställa mitt anlete emot eder, och I skolen varda slagne för edra fiendar. Och de som hata eder, skola råda öfver eder, och skolen fly, då ingen jagar eder.

And I will set my face against you, and ye shall fal before your enemies, and they that hate you, shall raigne ouer you, and yee shall flee when none pursueth you.

18 Om I ändå icke hören mig, så skall jag ännu sju resor mer görat, till att näpsa eder för edra synder;

And if ye wil not for these things obey me, then wil I punish you seuen times more, according to your sinnes,

19 Att jag edra högfärd och genstörtighet nederslå skall. Och jag skall göra edar himmel såsom jern, och edra jord såsom koppar.

And I wil breake the pride of your power, and I will make your heauen as yron, and your earth as brasse:

20 Och edor möda och arbete skall förtappadt vara, så att edart land icke skall gifva sin växt, och trän i landet icke bära sina frukt.

And your strength shalbe spent in vaine: neither shall your lande giue her increase, neither shall the trees of the land giue their fruite.

21 Och om I vandren mig emot, och icke viljen höra mig, så skall jag ändå görat sju resor mer, till att slå eder för edra synders skull;

And if ye walke stubburnly against me, and will not obey mee, I will then bring seuen times more plagues vpon you, according to your sinnes.

22 Och skall sända vilddjur ibland eder; de skola uppäta edor barn, och förderfva edar boskap, och förminska eder; och edra vägar skola varda öde.

I will also sende wilde beastes vpon you, which shall spoyle you, and destroy your cattell, and make you fewe in number: so your hye waies shalbe desolate.

23 Om I ändå icke dermed låten rätta eder, och vandren mig emot;

Yet if by these ye will not be reformed by me, but walke stubburnly against me,

24 Så skall jag ock vandra emot eder, och skall ännu slå eder sju resor mer för edra synders skull;

Then wil I also walke stubburnly against you, and I will smite you yet seuen times for your sinnes:

25 Och skall låta komma öfver eder ett hämndesvärd, det mitt förbund hämna skall. Och om I församlen eder uti edra städer, skall jag dock sända pestilentie ibland eder, och skall gifva eder uti edra fiendars händer.

And I wil send a sword vpon you, that shall auenge the quarel of my couenant: and when ye are gathered in your cities, I wil send the pestilence among you, and ye shall be deliuered into the hand of the enemie.

26 Så skall jag ock förderfva edars bröds tillråd, så att tio qvinnor skola baka sitt bröd i enom ugn, och edart bröd skall man utväga med vigt; och när I äten, skolen I icke varda mätte.

When I shall breake the staffe of your bread, then ten women shall bake your breade in one ouen, and they shall deliuer your bread againe by weight, and ye shall eate, but not be satisfied.

27 Om I dermed än icke hören mig, utan vandren mig emot;

Yet if ye will not for this obey mee, but walke against me stubburnly,

28 Så skall jag ock i grymhet vandra emot eder, och skall sjufaldt mer näpsa eder för edra synders skull;

Then will I walke stubburnly in mine anger against you, and I will also chastice you seuen times more according to your sinnes.

29 Så att I skolen äta edra söners och döttrars kött.

And ye shall eate ye flesh of your sonnes, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye deuoure.

30 Och jag skall borthäfva edra höjder, och edor beläte utrota, och skall kasta edra kroppar uppå edra afgudar, och min själ skall vämja vid eder;

I will also destroy your hye places, and cut away your images, and cast your carkeises vpon the bodies of your idoles, and my soule shall abhorre you.

31 Och skall göra edra städer öde, och edra kyrkor förlägga, och skall icke vilja lukta edra söta lukt.

And I will make your cities desolate, and bring your Sanctuarie vnto nought, and will not smelll the sauour of your sweete odours.

32 Alltså skall jag göra landet öde, att edra fiender, som bo deruti, skola grufva sig derföre.

I will also bring the land vnto a wildernes, and your enemies, which dwell therein, shalbe astonished thereat.

33 Men eder skall jag förskingra ibland Hedningarna, och draga ut svärdet efter eder, att edart land skall blifva öde, och edra städer omkullslagne.

Also I wil scatter you among the heathen, and will drawe out a sworde after you, and your land shalbe waste, and your cities shalbe desolate.

34 Så skall då landena behaga sin helg, så länge det öde ligger, och I ären i fiendalande. Ja, då skall landet hålla helg, och dess helg thy behaga.

Then shall the land inioy her Sabbaths, as long as it lieth voide, and yee shalbe in your enemies land: then shall the land rest, and enioy her Sabbaths.

35 Så länge det öde ligger, skall det hålla helg; derföre, att det icke kunde heligt hålla, då I skullen låtat heligt hålla, då I deruti bodden.

All the dayes that it lieth voide, it shall rest, because it did not rest in your Sabbaths, when ye dwelt vpon it.

36 Och de som återlefvas af eder, dem skall jag göra ett bäfvande hjerta uti deras fiendars lande, så att ett ruskande löf skall jaga dem; och skola fly derföre, lika som ett svärd jagade dem, och falla der som ingen jagar dem.

And vpon them that are left of you, I will send euen a faintnes into their hearts in ye land of their enemies, and the sounde of a leafeshaken shall chase them, and they shall flee as fleeing from a sword, and they shall fall, no man pursuing them.

37 Och den ene skall falla på den andra, lika såsom för svärd, och dock ingen jagar dem. Och I skolen icke töra duka eder upp för edra fiendar.

They shall fall also one vpon another, as before a sword, though none pursue them, and ye shall not be able to stand before your enemies:

38 Och I skolen förfaras ibland Hedningarna, och edra fiendars land skall fräta eder upp.

And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eate you vp.

39 De som återlefvas, skola försmäktas i deras missgerningar uti fiendalande; och uti deras fäders missgerningar skola de försmäktas.

And they that are left of you, shall pine away for their iniquitie, in your enemies landes, and for the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them also.

40 Så skola de då bekänna sina missgerning, och sina fäders missgerning, i hvilkom de sig förtagit, och emot mig vandrat hafva.

Then they shall confesse their iniquitie, and the wickednes of their fathers for their trespasse, which they haue trespassed against mee, and also because they haue walked stubburnly against me.

41 Derföre vill jag ock vandra emot dem, och skall drifva dem bort i deras fiendaland. Då varder ju deras oomskorna hjerta sig ödmjukandes. Och då skall dem behaga deras missgerningars straff.

Therefore I wil walke stubburnly against them, and bring them into the land of their enemies: so then their vncircumcised hearts shalbe humbled, and then they shalt willingly beare the punishment of their iniquitie.

42 Och jag skall ihågkomma mitt förbund med Jacob, och mitt förbund med Isaac, och mitt förbund med Abraham; och skall tänka uppå landet,

Then I will remember my couenant with Iaakob, and my couenant also with Izhak, and also my couenant with Abraham will I remember, and will remember the land.

43 Som af dem öfvergifvet är, och hafver haft ett behag till sina helg, medan det öde ligger ifrå dem, och dem behagar deras missgerningars straff; derföre, att de hafva föraktat mina rätter, och deras själ hafver haft en vämjelse till mina stadgar.

The land also in the meane season shalbe left of them, and shall enioye her Sabbaths while she lieth waste without them, but they shall willingly suffer the punishment of their iniquitie, because they despised my lawes, and because their soule abhorred mine ordinances.

44 Och om de än i fiendaland äro, hafver jag likväl icke förkastat dem, och icke så vämjat vid dem, att det skulle vara ute med dem, och mitt förbund med dem skulle intet mer gälla; ty jag är Herren deras Gud.

Yet notwithstanding this, when they shalbe in the lande of their enemies, I wil not cast them away, neither will I abhorre them, to destroy them vtterly, nor to breake my couenant with them: for I am the Lord their God:

45 Och jag skall för dem ihågkomma mitt första förbund, då jag förde dem utur Egypti land för Hedningarnas ögon, att jag skulle vara deras Gud: Jag Herren.

But I will remember for them the couenant of olde when I brought them out of ye land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen that I might be their God: I am the Lord.

46 Dessa äro de stadgar, och rätter, och lag, som Herren emellan sig och Israels barn satt hafver, på Sinai berg, genom Mose hand.

These are the ordinances, and the iudgements, and the lawes, which the Lord made betweene him, and the children of Israel in mount Sinai, by the hand of Moses.
