Judasbrevet 1
1 Judas, Jesu Christi tjenare, men Jacobs broder: dem kalladom, som i Gud Fader helgade äro, och i Jesu Christo behållne:
JUDE a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are sanctified in God the Father, and preserved by Jesus Christ, the called:
2 Mycken barmhertighet, och frid, och kärlek vare med eder.
mercy unto you, and peace and love be multiplied.
3 Mine käreste, efter det jag tog mig före skrifva eder till om allas våra salighet, syntes mig behöfvas förmana eder med skrifvelse, att I kämpa måtten för trona, som ena reso helgonen föregifven var.
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you concerning the common salvation, I held it necessary to write unto you, exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered unto the saints.
4 Ty det äro några menniskor med ibland inkomna, om hvilka fordom skrifvet var till detta straff: De äro ogudaktige, och draga vår Guds nåd till lösaktighet, och neka Gud, som allena är Herre, och vår Herra Jesum Christum.
For certain men have craftily introduced themselves, who were from of old proscribed for this condemnation, ungodly men, changing the grace of God into impurity, and denying our only sovereign God and Lord, Jesus Christ.
5 Men jag vill minna eder uppå, att I en tid detta skolen veta, att då Herren hade utfört folket af Egypten, sedan förgjorde han dem, som icke trodde.
But I would remind you, though ye once knew this, that the Lord, though he delivered the people out of the land of Egypt, afterwards destroyed those who believed not.
6 Och de Änglar, som icke behöllo sin förstadöme, utan öfvergåfvo sin hemman, dem förvarade han med eviga bojor i mörkret, till den stora dagsens dom. (aïdios g126)
And the angels who preserved not their own primitive state, but deserted their proper abode, hath he reserved in everlasting chains under darkness, unto the judgment of the great day. (aïdios g126)
7 Såsom ock Sodoma och Gomorra, och de städer deromkring, hvilke i samma måtto som de i skörhet syndat hade, och hafva gångit efter främmande kött, de äro satte för ett efterdömelse, och lida evig eldspino; (aiōnios g166)
As Sodom and Gomorrha and the surrounding cities, in like manner with them abandoned to whoredom, and going after other flesh, are set forth an example, suffering the judicial punishment of eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)
8 Sammalunda ock desse drömmare, som besmitta köttet, förakta herrskapet, och försmäda majestätet.
In like manner also do these men, even when they dream, defile indeed the flesh, despise sovereignty, and revile dignities.
9 Men Michael, den Öfverängelen, då han trätte med djefvulen, och disputerade med honom om Mose kropp, torde han icke utsäga försmädelsens dom; utan sade: Herren straffe dig.
Though Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil, he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not to produce a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10 Men desse försmäda, der de intet af veta; och hvad de af naturen, som annor oskälig djur veta, deruti förderfva de sig.
But these men speak evil even of the things of which they have no knowledge: but such things as they know naturally, as the brute beasts, in these they corrupt themselves.
11 Ve dem; ty de gå i Cains väg, och falla i Balaams villfarelse för löns skull, och förgås i Chore uppror.
Wo unto them! for they have walked in the way of Cain, and have eagerly run in Balaam’s erroneous path of hire, and have perished in opposition, like Corah.
12 Desse skamfläckar slösa af edra gåfvor utan fruktan, och föda sig sjelfva; de äro skyar utan vatten, som drifvas omkring af vädret; skallot, ofruktsam trä, två resor död, och med rötter uppryckt.
These are in your feasts of love, as sunken rocks; though joining in your banquet, they feed themselves fearlessly; clouds without water carried about by the winds; trees untimely withering, fruitless, twice dead, rooted up;
13 Hafsens vilda vågor, som sin egen skam utskumma; villfarande stjernor, hvilkom det svarta mörkret förvaradt är i evighet. (aiōn g165)
raging billows of the sea foaming out their own infamies; stars wandering from their courses, for whom the blackness of darkness for ever is reserved. (aiōn g165)
14 Hafver ock Enoch, den sjunde ifrån Adam, propheterat tillförene om dessa, och sagt: Si, Herren kommer med mång tusend helgon;
Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied also of these men, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with myriads of his saints,
15 Till att sitta dom öfver alla, och straffa alla dem som ogudaktige äro, för alla deras ogudaktiga gerningar, med hvilka de hafva illa gjort; och för allt det hårda, som de ogudaktige syndare emot honom talat hafva.
to execute judgment against all men, and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness which they have impiously committed, and of all the bitter words which impious offenders have spoken against him.
16 Desse knorra och klaga alltid, och vandra efter sin egen lusta; och deras mun talar stolt ord, och akta på personer för nyttos skull.
These men are murmurers, complainers at their lot in life, walking after their own corrupt passions; and their mouth utters hyperbolically pompous expressions, pretending high personal admiration, in order to make their advantage.
17 Men I, mine käreste, drager eder till minnes de ord, som tillförene hafva eder sagd varit af vårs Herras Jesu Christi Apostlar;
But ye, beloved, remember the words which have been spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,
18 Att de sade eder: Uti yttersta dagarna skola komma bespottare, de der gå skola efter sin egen ogudaktiga begärelse.
how they told you that in the last time there will be scoffers, walking after their own ungodly passions.
19 Desse äro de, som parti göra, köttslige, icke hafvandes Andan.
These are the men who separate themselves, sensual, destitute of the Spirit.
20 Men I, mine käreste, uppbygger eder sjelfva på edra aldraheligasta tro, genom den Helga Anda, och beder;
But ye, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying by the Holy Ghost,
21 Och behåller eder i Guds kärlek, och vänter efter vårs Herras Jesu Christi barmhertighet till evigt lif. (aiōnios g166)
preserve yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
22 Och håller denna åtskilnad, att I förbarmen eder öfver somliga;
And of some have compassion, distinguishing their case;
23 Men somliga görer med fruktan saliga, och rycker dem utur elden; hatande den besmittada köttsens kjortel.
and others save with trembling, snatching them out of the fire; though hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Men honom, som förmår förvara eder utan synd, och ställa eder för sitt härlighets ansigte ostraffeliga, med fröjd;
Now to him who is able to guard you from stumbling, and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with exultation,
