1 Desse äro de Konungar i landena, som Israels barn slogo, och togo deras land in på hinsidon Jordan, österut: ifrån Arnons bäck intill Hermons berg, och hela marken österut:

And these are the kings of the land whom the children of Israel smote, and whose land they took possession of on the other side of the Jordan, toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Chermon, and all the plain on the east:

2 Sihon, de Amoreers Konung, som bodde i Hesbon, och var rådandes ifrån Aroer, som på strandene ligger vid den bäcken vid Arnon, och midt i bäcken, och öfver halft Gilead, intill den bäcken Jabbok, der Ammons barnas landamäre är;

Sichon the king of the Emorites, who dwelt in Cheshbon, and ruled from 'Aro'er, which is upon the bank of the brook Arnon, and over the land in the middle of the brook, and from half Gil'ad, even unto the brook Yabbok, the boundary of the children of 'Ammon;

3 Och öfver den slättmarkena allt intill hafvet Cinneroth österut, och intill hafvet i slättmarkene, som är salthafvet österut, den vägen åt BethJesimoth; och ifrå sunnan neder utmed bäcken vid berget Pisga;

And over the plain up to the sea of Kinneroth on the east, and up to the sea of the plain, the salt sea on the east, on the way to Beth-hayeshimoth; and at the south, under the declivities of Pisgah;

4 Dertill Ogs gränso, Konungens i Basan, den ännu af de Resar qvar blifven var, och bodde i Astaroth och Edrei,

And the territory of 'Og the king of Bashan, who was of the remnant of the Rephaim, that dwelt at 'Ashtaroth and at Edre'i,

5 Och var rådandes öfver berget Hermon, öfver Salcha, och öfver hela Basan, allt intill Gessuri och Maachathi gränsor, och i halfva Gilead, hvilket var Sihons gränsa, Konungens i Hesbon.

And reigned over mount Chermon, and over Salchah, and over all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Ma'achathites, and half Gil'ad, [to] the boundary of Sichon the king of Cheshbon.

6 Mose Herrans tjenare, och Israels barn slogo dem; och Mose Herrans tjenare gaf dem de Rubeniter, Gaditer, och den halfva slägtene Manasse till att intaga.

These did Moses the servant of the Lord and the children of Israel smite; and Moses the servant of the Lord gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Menasseh.

7 Men desse äro de Konungar i landena, som Josua slog, och Israels barn, på denna sidone Jordan, vesterut, ifrå BaalGad på Libanons bergs slätt, intill det berget som åtskiljer landet uppåt emot Seir, och det Josua Israels slägter gaf till att intaga, hvarjom och enom sin del;

And these are the kings of the country whom Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side of the Jordan on the west, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon as far as the bald mountain, that goeth up to Seir; and Joshua gave it unto the tribes of Israel for a possession, according to their divisions;

8 Det som uppå bergen, dalomen, slättmarkene, vid bäcker, i öknene, och söderut var, de Hetheer, Amoreer, Cananeer, Phereseer, Heveer och Jebuseer:

In the mountains, and in the lowlands, and in the plain, and in the declivities, and in the wilderness, and in the south country: the Hittites, the Emorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

9 Konungen i Jericho, Konungen i Aj, som vid sidona ligger af BethEl;

The king of Jericho, one; the king of 'Ai, which was beside Bethel one;

10 Konungen i Jerusalem, Konungen i Hebron;

The king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;

11 Konungen i Jarmuth, Konungen i Lachis;

The king of Yarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;

12 Konungen i Eglon, Konungen i Geser;

The king of 'Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;

13 Konungen i Debir, Konungen i Geder;

The king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;

14 Konungen i Horma, Konungen i Arad;

The king of Chormah, one; the king of 'Arad, one;
