Joel 1
1 Detta är Herrans ord, som skedde till Joel, Pethuels son.
[the] word of Yahweh which it came to Joel [the] son of Pethuel.
2 Hörer detta, I äldste, och akter häruppå, alle inbyggare i landena; om något sådant skedt är i edar tid, eller i edra fäders tid?
Hear this O elders and give ear O all [the] inhabitants of the land ¿ has it happened this in days your and or? in [the] days of ancestors your.
3 Säger edrom barnom deraf, och låter edor barn säga det för sin barn; och de samma barnen för sina efterkommande;
On it to children your recount and children your to children their and children their to a generation another.
4 Nämliga: Hvad efter gräsmatken blifver qvart, det uppäter gräshoppan; och hvad gräshoppan igenblifva låter, det äter flogmatken; och hvad flogmatken blifva låter, det fräter lusen.
[the] remainder of The locust[s] it has eaten the locust[s] and [the] remainder of the locust[s] it has eaten the locust[s] and [the] remainder of the locust[s] it has eaten the locust[s].
5 Vaker upp, I druckne, och gråter, och jämrer eder, alle vindrinkare, efter must; ty han är eder ifrån edar mun borttagen.
Awake O drunkards and weep and wail O all drinkers of wine on sweet wine for it has been cut off from mouth your.
6 Ty ett mägtigt folk och otaligt drager hitupp uti mitt land; det hafver tänder lika som ett lejon, och oxlatänder lika som en lejinna.
For a nation it has come up on land my mighty and there not [is] number teeth its [are the] teeth of a lion and [the] fangs of a lioness [belong] to it.
7 Det samma föröder min vingård, afbryter min fikonaträ, barkar dem, och förkastar dem, så att deras qvistar äro hvite vordne.
It has made vine[s] my into a waste and fig tree[s] my into a stump completely it has stripped bare it and it has thrown [it] away they have become white branches its.
8 Jämra dig, lika som en jungfru, den en säck uppådrager för sin brudgummes skull;
Wail like a virgin girded of sackcloth on [the] husband of youth her.
9 Ty spisoffer och drickoffer är borto ifrå Herrans hus; Presterna, Herrans tjenare, sörja.
It has been cut off grain offering and drink offering from [the] house of Yahweh they are in mourning the priests [the] servants of Yahweh.
10 Marken är förödd, och åkren står ömkeliga; kornet är förderfvadt, vinet står jämmerliga, och oljan klageliga.
It is devastated [the] field[s] it is dried up [the] ground for it is devastated [the] grain it has dried up [the] new wine it has dried out [the] fresh oil.
11 Åkermännerna se skröpliga ut, och vingårdsmännerna gråta, för hvetes och korns skull, att utaf markene intet inbergas kan.
Be ashamed O farmers wail O vinedressers on [the] wheat and on [the] barley for it has perished [the] harvest of [the] field.
12 Så stå ock vinträn jämmerliga, och fikonaträn klageliga; dertill granatträ, palmträ, äpleträ, och all trä på markene äro förtorkad; ty menniskornas fröjd är till sorg vorden.
The vine it has dried up and the fig tree it has dried out [the] pomegranate tree also [the] palm tree and [the] apple tree all [the] trees of the field they have dried up for it has been ashamed joy from [the] children of humankind.
13 Omgjorder eder, och gråter, I Prester; jämrer eder, I altarens tjenare; går in, och ligger i säcker, I mins Guds tjenare; ty både spisoffer och drickoffer är borto af edars Guds hus.
Gird yourselves and lament O priests wail O servants of [the] altar come spend [the] night in sackcloth O servants of God my for it has been withheld from [the] house of God your grain offering and drink offering.
14 Helger ena fasto, kaller tillhopa menigheten; församler de äldsta, och alla landsens inbyggare, till Herrans edars Guds hus, och roper till Herran:
Consecrate a fast call an assembly gather [the] elders all [the] inhabitants of the land [the] house of Yahweh God your and cry out to Yahweh.
15 Ack, ve den dagen! Ty Herrans dag är hardt när, och kommer såsom ett förderf ifrå dem Allsmägtiga.
Alas! for the day for [is] near [the] day of Yahweh and like devastation from [the] Almighty it will come.
16 Så skall maten för vår ögon borttagen varda, och ifrå vår Guds hus fröjd och glädje.
¿ Not before eyes our food has it been cut off from [the] house of God our joy and rejoicing.
17 Säden är bortruttnad i jordene, kornhusen stå öde, ladorna förfalla; ty kornet är förderfvadt.
They have shriveled [the] seeds under shovels their they are desolate [the] storehouses they have been torn down [the] granaries for it has dried up [the] grain.
18 O! huru suckar boskapen? Fät råmar, ty de hafva ingen bet, och fåren försmäkta.
How! it has groaned [the] livestock they have wandered in confusion [the] herds of cattle for not pasture [belongs] to them also [the] flocks of sheep they have suffered.
19 Herre, dig åkallar jag; ty elden hafver afbränt de lustiga planar i öknene, och lågen hafver upptändt all trä på markene.
To you O Yahweh I call for fire it has consumed [the] pastures of [the] wilderness and a flame it has set ablaze all [the] trees of the field.
20 Ja, vilddjuren ropa också till dig; ty vattubäckerna äro uttorkade, och elden hafver förbränt de lustiga planar i öknene.
Also [the] animals of [the] field it pants to you for they have dried up [the] channels of water and fire it has consumed [the] pastures of the wilderness.
