Job 21
1 Job svarade och sade:
And he answered Job and he said.
2 Hörer dock till min ord, och låter säga eder;
Listen completely [to] speech my and let it be this consolations your.
3 Hafver tålamod med mig, att jag ock må tala; och görer sedan spott af mig.
Bear with me and I I will speak and after have spoken I you will mock.
4 Månn jag handla med en mennisko, att min ande icke skulle härutinnan ångse varda?
¿ I to humankind [is] complaint my and if why? not will it be short spirit my.
5 Vänder eder hit till mig; I skolen förundra eder, och måsten lägga handena på munnen.
Turn to me and be appalled and put a hand over a mouth.
6 När jag tänker deruppå, så förskräckes jag; och ett bäfvande kommer uppå mitt kött.
And if I remember [this] and I am disturbed and it takes hold of flesh my shuddering.
7 Hvi lefva då de ogudaktige, varda gamle, och växa till i ägodelar?
Why? wicked [people] do they live they grow old also do they become strong? strength.
8 Deras säd är säker omkring dem, och deras afföda är när dem.
Offspring their [is] established before them with them and descendants their to eyes their.
9 Deras hus hafver frid för räddhåga, och Guds ris är icke öfver dem.
Houses their [are] safety from fear and not [the] rod of God [is] on them.
10 Deras oxa släpper man till, ock missgår icke; deras ko kalfvar, och är icke ofruktsam.
Bull his it impregnates and not it fails it calves cow his and not it miscarries.
11 Deras unga barn gå ut såsom en hjord, och deras barn springa.
They send forth like flock young boys their and children their they leap about!
12 De fröjda sig med trummor och harpor, och äro glade med pipande;
They lift according to tambourine and harp so they may rejoice to [the] sound of a flute.
13 De varda gamle med göda dagar, och förskräckas som nogast ett ögnablick för helvetet; (Sheol h7585)

14 De dock säga till Gud: Gack bort ifrån oss; vi vilje intet veta af dina vägar;
And they have said to God depart from us and knowledge of ways your not we desire.
15 Ho är den Allsmägtige, att vi honom tjena skole? Eller hvad kan det båta oss, om vi löpe emot honom?
What? [is the] Almighty that we will serve him and what? will we gain that we will entreat him.
16 Men si, deras ägodelar stå icke uti deras händer; derföre skall de ogudaktigas sinne vara långt ifrå mig.
There! not [is] in own hand their prosperity their [the] counsel of wicked [people] it is far from me.
17 Huru varder de ogudaktigas lykta utsläckt; och deras förderf kommer öfver dem? Han skall utskifta jämmer i sine vrede.
How often? - [the] lamp of wicked [people] is it extinguished and it may come? on them calamity their pain does he apportion? in anger his.
18 De skola varda såsom strå för vädret, och såsom agnar, hvilka stormen bortförer.
Are they? like straw before a wind and like chaff [which] it has stolen it a storm-wind.
19 Gud förvarar hans barnom bedröfvelse; när han skall löna honom, då skall man förnimmat,
God he stores up for children his wickedness his let him repay to him so he may know.
20 Hans ögon skola se hans förderf, och af dens Allsmägtigas vrede skall han dricka.
Let them see (own eyes his *Q(K)*) destruction his and from [the] rage of [the] Almighty let him drink.
21 Ty ho skall hafva behag till hans hus efter honom? Och hans månaders tal skall näppliga halft blifva.
For what? [is] pleasure his in household his after him and [the] number of months his they have been cut off.
22 Ho vill lära Gud, den ock dömer de höga?
¿ To God will anyone teach knowledge and he exalted [ones] he judges.
23 Denne dör frisk och helbregda, rik och säll.
This [one] he will die with limb[s] of completeness his all of him [is] at ease and at ease.
24 Hans mjölkekar äro full med mjölk, och hans ben varda full med märg.
Pails his they are full milk and [the] marrow of bones his it is watered.
25 Men en annan dör med bedröfvada själ, och hafver aldrig ätit i glädje.
And this [one] he will die with a soul bitter and not he has eaten in the good.
26 Och de ligga tillhopa med hvarannan i jordene, och matkar öfvertäcka dem.
Together on dust they will lie and a maggot it will cover over them.
27 Si, jag känner väl edra tankar, och edor vrånga anslag emot mig.
Here! I know thoughts your and [the] schemes on me you do violence.
28 Ty I sägen: Hvar är Förstans hus? Och hvar äro hyddorna, der de ogudaktige bodde?
For you say where? [is the] house of a noble [person] and where? [is the] tent of - [the] dwelling places of wicked [people].
29 Talen I dock derom såsom meniga folket; och veten icke hvad de andras väsende betyder?
¿ Not have you asked [those who] pass by of [the] road and signs their not do you recognize?
30 Ty den onde varder behållen intill förderfvelsens dag, och intill vredenes dag blifver han.
That to a day of calamity he is spared an evil [person] to a day of furi they are brought forth.
31 Ho vill säga hvad han förtjenar, när man det utvärtes anser? Ho vill vedergälla honom hvad han gör?
Who? will he tell on face his way his and [that which] he he has done who? will he repay to him.
32 Men han varder bortdragen till grafvena, och man vaktar efter honom i högomen.
And he to [the] grave he will be borne and over a tomb someone will keep watch.
33 Bäckaslem behagar honom väl, och alla menniskor varda dragna efter honom; och uppå dem, som för honom varit hafva, är intet tal.
They will be sweet to him [the] clods of [the] wadi and after him every person he will follow and before him there not [is] number.
34 Huru trösten I mig så fåfängt, och edor svar finnas dock orätt?
And how? will you comfort me vanity and answers your it remains unfaithfulness.
