Jesaja 48

1 Hörer detta, I af Jacobs hus, I som nämnens af Israel! namn, och af Juda vatten flutne ären; som svärjen vid Herrans Namn, och ihågkommen Israels Gud, dock icke i sanningene eller rättfärdighetene.

Listen to this O house of Jacob those [who] are called by [the] name of Israel and from [the] waters of Judah they came out those [who] swear - by [the] name of Yahweh and [the] God of Israel they bring to remembrance not in truth and not in righteousness.

2 Ty de nämna sig af dem heliga stadenom, och trösta uppå Israels Gud; som kallas Herren Zebaoth.

For from [the] city of holiness they have called themselves and on [the] God of Israel they have supported themselves [is] Yahweh of hosts name his.

3 Jag hafver tillförene förkunnat detta tillkommande; utaf minom mun är det gånget, och jag hafver låtit säga det; och gör det också med hast, att det kommer.

The former [things] from then I declared and from mouth my they went out and I proclaimed them suddenly I acted and they came.

4 Ty jag vet, att du äst hård, och ditt halsband är en jernsena, och ditt änne är af koppar.

For knew I that [were] stubborn you and [was] a sinew of iron neck your and forehead your [was] bronze.

5 Jag hafver förkunnat dig det tillförene, och hafver låtit säga dig det, förr än det kom; på det att du icke skulle säga: Min afgud gör det, och mitt beläte, och min afgud hafver det befallt.

And I declared [them] to you from then before it came I proclaimed to you lest you should say idol my it did them and carved image my and molten image my it commanded them.

6 Allt detta hörde och såg du, och hafver dock icke förkunnat det; ty jag hafver tillförene låtit säga dig ny och fördold ting, de du icke visste.

You have heard look at all of it and you ¿ not will you tell I will proclaim to you new [things] from now and secret [things] and not you have known them.

7 Men nu är det skapadt, och icke på den tiden, och du hafver icke hört deraf en dag tillförene; på det du icke skulle säga: Si, det visste jag väl.

Now they have been created and not from then and before a day and not you had heard of them lest you should say here! I knew them.

8 Ty du hörde det intet, och visste det ock intet, och ditt öra var på den tiden icke öppnadt; men jag visste väl, att du skulle föraktat, och äst en öfverträdare kallad allt ifrå moderlifvet.

Neither not you heard nor not you knew nor from then not it opened ear your for I knew certainly you will act treacherously and a rebel from [the] womb it has been called to you.

9 Derföre är jag för mitt Namns skull långmodig, och för min pris skull vill jag, dig till nytto, hålla tillbaka, att du icke skall utrotad varda.

For [the] sake of name my I will make long anger my and praise my I will restrain myself to you to not to cut off you.

10 Si, jag vill bepröfva dig, men icke såsom silfver; utan jag vill göra dig utkoradan uti bedröfvelsens ugn.

Here! I have refined you and not silver I have chosen you in a furnace of affliction.

11 För mina skull, ja, för mina skull vill jag görat; på det jag icke skall försmädad varda; ty jag vill icke gifva mina äro enom androm.

For own sake my for own sake my I will act for how? will it be profaned and glory my to another not I will give.

12 Hör mig, Jacob, och du Israel, min kallade: Jag äret; jag är den förste, jag är den siste.

Listen to me O Jacob and Israel called [one] my I [am] he I [am] first also I [am] last.

13 Min hand hafver grundat jordena, och min högra hand hafver omspannat himmelen; hvad jag kallar, det står straxt redo.

Also hand my it founded [the] earth and right [hand] my it spread out [the] heavens [am] calling I to them they stand together.

14 Församler eder alle, och hörer: Hvilken är ibland dessa, som detta förkunna kan? Herren älskar honom; derföre skall han bevisa sin vilja på Babel, och sin arm på de Chaldeer.

Gather together all of you and listen who? among them has he declared these [things] Yahweh he loves him he will execute pleasure his on Babylon and arm his [the] Chaldeans.

15 Tag, ja, Jag hafver sagt det, jag hafver kallat honom; jag vill ock låta honom komma, och hans väg skall honom lyckas.

I I I have spoken also I have summoned him I have brought him and he will make successful way his.

16 Går hit till mig, och hörer detta: Jag hafver tillförene icke hemliga talat; ifrå den tiden, då det taladt vardt, är jag der. Och nu sänder mig Herren Herren, och hans Ande.

Draw near to me listen to this not from [the] beginning in secrecy I have spoken from [the] time happened it [was] there I and now [the] Lord Yahweh he has sent me and spirit his.

17 Så säger Herren, din förlossare, den Helige i Israel: Jag är Herren din Gud, den dig lärer hvad nyttigt är, och leder dig på den vägen, som du går.

Thus he says Yahweh redeemer your [the] holy [one] of Israel I [am] Yahweh God your [who] teaches you to profit [who] leads you in [the] way [which] you will go.

18 O! att du ville akta uppå, min bud; så skulle din frid vara såsom en vattuström, och din rättfärdighet såsom hafsens våg;

If you had paid attention to commandments my and it was like river peace your and righteousness your like [the] waves of the sea.

19 Och din säd skulle varda såsom sand, och dins lifs frukt såsom hans små stenar; hvilkens namn icke skulle utrotadt varda, eller utstruket för mig.

And it was like the sand offspring your and [the] descendants of inward parts your like grains its not it will be cut off and not it will be destroyed name its from to before me.

20 Går ut af Babel, flyr ifrå de Chaldeer med glada röst; förkunner, och låter det höra, förer det ut allt intill verldenes ända; säger: Herren hafver förlossat sin tjenare Jacob.

Go out from Babylon flee from [the] Chaldeans with a sound of a shout of joy declare proclaim this send out it to [the] end of the earth say he has redeemed Yahweh servant his Jacob.

21 De hade ingen törst, då han ledde dem i öknene; han lät dem flyta vatten ut af bergklippone, han klöf bergklippona, och der rann ut vatten.

And not they were thirsty [when] in [the] waste places he led them water from a rock he caused to flow for them and he split open a rock and they flowed out waters.

22 Men de ogudaktige, säger Herren, hafva ingen frid.

Not peace he says Yahweh [belongs] to wicked [people].
