1 Mosebok 7
1 Och Herren sade till Noah: Gack in uti arken, du och ditt hela hus, ty dig hafver jag sett rättfärdigan för mig i denna tid.
And YHWH says to Noah, “Come, you and all your house, into the Ark, for I have seen you [are] righteous before Me in this generation;
2 Af allahanda ren fänad tag till dig, ju sju och sju, mankön och qvinkön; men af orenom fänad, ju ett par, mankön och qvinkön.
you take seven pairs from all the clean beasts to yourself, a male and its female; and of the beasts which are not clean—two, a male and its female;
3 Sammalunda af foglarna under himmelen, ju sju och sju, mankön och qvinkön, på det att säd må blifva lefvandes på hela jordene.
also, seven pairs from [each] bird of the heavens, a male and a female, to keep alive seed on the face of all the earth;
4 Ty ännu efter sju dagar skall jag låta regna på jordene fyratio dagar och fyratio nätter, och förgöra utaf jordene allt det som varelse hafver, det jag gjort hafver.
for after seven more days I am sending rain on the earth [for] forty days and forty nights, and have wiped away all the substance that I have made from off the face of the ground.”
5 Och Noah gjorde allt det Herren böd honom.
And Noah does according to all that YHWH has commanded him.
6 Och han var sexhundrade år gammal, då flodenes vatten flödade på jordene.
And Noah [is] a son of six hundred years, and the flood of waters has been on the earth.
7 Och han gick in i arken med sina söner, sine hustru, och sina söners hustrur, för flodenes vattens skull.
And Noah goes—and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him—into the Ark, out of the presence of the waters of the flood;
8 Af den rena fänaden, och af den orena, af foglar, och af allt det som kräker på jordene,
from the clean beast, and from the beast that [is] not clean, and from the bird, and of everything that is creeping on the ground,
9 Gingo till honom in i arken, parom, ju mankön och qvinkön, såsom Gud honom budit hade.
they have come to Noah two by two into the Ark, a male and a female, as God has commanded Noah.
10 Och då de sju dagar framlidne voro, kom flodsens vatten uppå jordene.
And it comes to pass, after seven days, that waters of the flood have been on the earth.
11 Uti de sjettehundrade årena i Noahs ålder, på sjuttonde dagenom, i den andra månadenom, det är den dagen, då uppbrusto alla stora djupsens källor, och himmelens fenster öppnade sig.
In the six hundredth year of the life of Noah, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on this day all [the] fountains of the great deep have been broken up, and the network of the heavens has been opened,
12 Och ett regn kom på jordene i fyratio dagar och fyratio nätter.
and the shower is on the earth [for] forty days and forty nights.
13 Rätt på samma dagen gick Noah in i arken, med Sem, Ham och Japhet, sina söner, och med sine hustru, och med tre sina söners hustrur.
On this very same day Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, went into the Ark—
14 Dertill allahanda djur efter sitt slag, allahanda fänad efter sitt slag, och allt det på jordene kräker efter sitt slag, och allahanda foglar efter sitt slag, allt det flyga kunde, och allt det vingar hade:
they, and every living creature after its kind, and every beast after its kind, and every creeping thing that is creeping on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind (every bird, every wing).
15 Det gick allt till Noah in uti arken, parom af allt kött, der en lefvande ande uti var.
And they come to Noah, into the Ark, two by two of all the flesh in which [is] a living spirit;
16 Och det var mankön och qvinkön, utaf allahanda kött, och gingo derin, såsom Gud honom budit hade, och Herren lät igen efter honom.
and they that are coming in, male and female of all flesh, have come in as God has commanded him, and YHWH closes [it] for him.
17 Då kom floden fyratio dagar på jordene, och vattnet växte, och lyfte arken upp, och förde honom högt upp öfver jordena.
And the flood is on the earth [for] forty days, and the waters multiply and lift up the Ark, and it is raised up from off the earth;
18 Så fick då vattnet öfvermagt, och växte svårliga på jordene, så att arken dref på vattnet.
and the waters are mighty and multiply exceedingly on the earth; and the Ark goes on the face of the waters.
19 Och vattnet fick öfverhand, och växte så svåra på jordene, att all hög berg under hela himmelen vordo öfvertäckte.
And the waters have been very, very mighty on the earth, and all the high mountains are covered which [are] under the whole heavens;
20 Femton alnar högt gick vattnet öfver bergen, som öfvertäckte vordo.
the waters prevailed from above the mountains, and cover [them] fifteen cubits;
21 Då förgicks allt kött, som på jordene kräker, foglar, fänad, vilddjur, och allt det som sig rörer på jordene, och alla menniskor.
and all flesh expires that is moving on the earth, among bird, and among livestock, and among beast, and among every teeming thing which is teeming on the earth, and all mankind;
22 Allt det som en lefvande anda hade på thy torra, det blef dödt.
all in whose nostrils [is] breath of a living spirit—of all that [is] in the dry land—have died.
23 Så vardt då förgjordt allt det på jordene var, ifrå menniskone allt intill fänaden, intill kräkande djur, och intill foglarna under himmelen, allt vardt förgjordt utaf jordene. Allena Noah blef behållen, och hvad med honom var i arkenom.
And all the substance that is on the face of the ground is wiped away—from man to beast, to creeping thing, and to bird of the heavens; indeed, they are wiped away from the earth, and only Noah is left, and those who [are] with him in the Ark;
24 Och vattnet stod på jordene hundrade och femtio dagar.
and the waters are mighty on the earth [for] one hundred and fifty days.
