Hesekiel 20
1 Och det begaf sig i sjunde årena, på tionde dagen i femte månadenom, kommo någre af de äldsta i Israel till att fråga Herran, och satte sig neder för mig.
And it was - in the year seventh in the fifth [month] on the ten of the month they came men from [the] elders of Israel to consult Yahweh and they sat down before me.
2 Då skedde Herrans ord till mig, och sade:
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
3 Du menniskobarn, tala med Israels äldsta, och säg till dem: Detta säger Herren Herren: Ären I komne till att fråga mig? Så sant som jag lefver, jag vill intet svar gifva eder, säger Herren Herren.
O son of humankind speak with [the] elders of Israel and you will say to them thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh ¿ to consult me [are] you coming [by] [the] life of me if I will let myself be consulted by you [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.
4 Men vill du menniskobarn straffa dem, så må du straffa dem alltså: Håll dem före deras fäders styggelse;
¿ Will you judge them ¿ will you judge O son of humankind [the] abominations of ancestors their make known to them.
5 Och säg till dem: Detta säger Herren Herren: På den tid jag utvalde Israel, upphof jag mina hand till Jacobs hus säd, och lät dem känna mig uti Egypti land; ja, jag upphof mina hand till dem, och sade: Jag är Herren edar Gud.
And you will say to them thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh on [the] day chose I Israel and I lifted up hand my to [the] offspring of [the] house of Jacob and I made myself known to them in [the] land of Egypt and I lifted up hand my to them saying I [am] Yahweh God your.
6 Men jag upphof på samma tid mina hand, att jag skulle föra, dem utur Egypti land, in uti ett land som jag dem försett hade, det med mjölk och hannog flyter; ett ädla land för all land;
On the day that I lifted up hand my to them to bring out them from [the] land of Egypt to a land which I had selected for them flowing of milk and honey [is] beauty it to all the lands.
7 Och sade till dem: Hvar och en kaste bort styggelsen för sin ögon, och orener icke eder på Egypti afgudar; ty jag är Herren edar Gud.
And I said to them everyone [the] detestable things of eyes his throw away and by [the] idols of Egypt may not you make yourselves unclean I [am] Yahweh God your.
8 Men de voro mig ohörsamme, och ville intet höra mig, och ingen af dem kastade sin styggelse bort för sin ögon, och öfvergåfvo icke Egypti afgudar; då tänkte jag utgjuta mina grymhet öfver dem, och låta alla mina vrede gå öfver dem, midt uti Egypti land;
And they rebelled against me and not they were willing to listen to me anyone [the] detestable things of eyes their not they threw away and [the] idols of Egypt not they forsook and I said to pour out rage my on them to complete anger my on them in [the] midst of [the] land of Egypt.
9 Men jag lät det tillbaka, för mitt Namns skull, att det icke skulle ohelgadt varda för Hedningomen, ibland hvilka de voro, och för hvilkom jag hade gifvit mig dem tillkänna, att jag dem utur Egypti land föra ville.
And I acted for [the] sake of name my to not to be profaned to [the] eyes of the nations which they [were] in midst of them which I had made myself known to them to eyes their by bringing out them from [the] land of Egypt.
10 Och då jag; dem utur Egypti land fört hade, och låtit dem komma in uti öknena;
And I brought out them from [the] land of Egypt and I brought them into the wilderness.
11 Gaf jag dem min bud, och lärde dem mina rätter, genom hvilka menniskan lefver, den dem håller.
And I gave to them statutes my and judgments my I made known to them which he will do them the person and he will live by them.
12 Jag gaf dem ock min Sabbath, till ett tecken emellan mig och dem, på det de skulle lära, att jag är Herren, som dem helgar.
And also sabbaths my I gave to them to become a sign between me and between them to know that I [am] Yahweh [who] sanctified them.
13 Men Israels hus var mig också ohörsamt uti öknene, och lefde intet efter min bud, och föraktade mina rätter, genom hvilka menniskan lefver, som dem håller, och ohelgade min Sabbath ganska svårliga; då tänkte jag utgjuta mina grymhet öfver dem uti öknene, och platt förgöra dem;
And they rebelled against me [the] house of Israel in the wilderness in statutes my not they walked and judgments my they rejected which he will do them the person and he will live by them and sabbaths my they profaned exceedingly and I said to pour out rage my on them in the wilderness to make an end of them.
14 Men jag lät det tillbaka, för mitt Namns skull, att det icke skulle ohelgadt varda ibland Hedningarna, för hvilkom jag dem utfört hade.
And I acted for [the] sake of name my to not to be profaned to [the] eyes of the nations which I had brought out them to eyes their.
15 Ock hof jag mina hand upp emot dem i öknene, att jag icke ville låta dem komma in uti det land, som jag dem gifvit hade, det med mjölk och hannog flyter; ett ädla land för alla land;
And also I I lifted up hand my to them in the wilderness to not to bring them into the land which I had given flowing of milk and honey [is] beauty it to all the lands.
16 Derföre, att de föraktade mina rätter, och lefde icke efter min bud, och mina Sabbather ohelgade; ty de vandrade efter deras hjertas afgudar.
Because judgments my they had rejected and statutes my not they had walked in them and sabbaths my they had profaned for after idols their heart their [was] walking.
17 Men mitt öga skonade dem, att jag icke förderfvade eller platt förgjorde dem i öknene.
And it looked with compassion eye my on them from destroying them and not I made them complete destruction in the wilderness.
18 Och jag sade till deras barn i öknene: I skolen icke lefva efter edra fäders bud, och icke hålla deras rätter, och icke orena eder uppå deras afgudar.
And I said to children their in the wilderness in [the] statutes of ancestors your may not you walk and judgments their may not you keep and by idols their may not you make yourselves unclean.
19 Ty jag är Herren edar Gud; efter min bud skolen I lefva, och mina rätter skolen I hålla, och göra derefter;
I [am] Yahweh God your in statutes my walk and judgments my keep and do them.
20 Och mina Sabbather skolen I helga, att de skola vara ett tecken emellan mig och eder, på det I veta skolen att jag, Herren, är edar Gud.
And sabbaths my keep holy and they will become a sign between me and between you to know that I [am] Yahweh God your.
21 Men barnen voro mig ock ohörsam, lefde icke efter min bud, höllo ock icke mina rätter, så att de gjorde derefter, genom hvilka menniskan lefver, den dem håller, och ohelgade mina Sabbather; då tänkte jag utgjuta mina grymhet öfver dem, och låta alla mina vrede gå öfver dem i öknene;
And they rebelled against me the children in statutes my not they walked and judgments my not they kept to observe them which he will do them the person and he will live by them sabbaths my they profaned and I said to pour out rage my on them to complete anger my on them in the wilderness.
22 Men jag vände mina hand, och lät det tillbaka, för mitt Namns skull, att det icke skulle ohelgadt varda för Hedningomen, för hvilkom jag dem utfört hade.
And I turned back hand my and I acted for [the] sake of name my to not to be profaned to [the] eyes of the nations which I brought out them to eyes their.
23 Jag hof ock mina hand upp emot dem i öknene, att jag skulle förströ dem ibland Hedningarna, och förskingra dem i landen;
Also I I lifted up hand my to them in the wilderness to scatter them among the nations and to disperse them among the lands.
24 Derföre, att de icke höllo min bud, och föraktade mina rätter, och ohelgade mina Sabbather, och sågo efter deras fäders afgudar.
Because judgments my not they had done and statutes my they had rejected and sabbaths my they had profaned and after [the] idols of parents their they had been eyes their.
25 Derföre gaf jag dem den lära, som intet god är; och de rätter, uti hvilka de intet lif hafva kunna;
And also I I gave to them statutes not good and judgments [which] not they will live by them.
26 Och förkastade dem med deras offer då de uppbrände i eld all förstföding; på det jag skulle bedröfva dem, och de lära skulle, att jag är Herren.
And I made unclean them by gifts their when made pass through every firstborn of a womb so that I may make appalled them so that this they may know that I [am] Yahweh.
27 Derföre tala, du menniskobarn, med Israels hus, och säg till dem: Detta säger Herren Herren: Edra fäder hafva ännu mer försmädat och trotsat mig.
Therefore speak to [the] house of Israel O son of humankind and you will say to them thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh again this they blasphemed me ancestors your when acted unfaithfully they against me unfaithfulness.
28 Ty då jag hade låtit dem komma in uti landet, öfver hvilket jag mina hand upphäfvit hade, att jag skulle det gifva dem; hvar de någorstäds sågo en hög backa, eller tjockqvistadt trä, der offrade de sitt offer, och båro dit sina obehageliga gåfvor, och rökte der sin söta rök, och utgöto der sitt drickoffer.
And I brought them into the land which I had lifted up hand my to give it to them and they saw every hill high and every tree leafy and they sacrificed there sacrifices their and they presented there [the] provocation of offering their and they made there [the] odor of soothing their and they poured out there drink offerings their.
29 Men jag sade till dem: Hvad skall dock den höjden, dit I gån? Och så kallades det en höjd, allt intill denna dag.
And I said to them what? [is] the high place where you [are] the [ones who] go there and it has been called name its Bamah until the day this.
30 Derföre säg till Israels hus: Detta säger Herren Herren: I orenen eder uti edra fäders väsende, och bedrifven horeri med edor styggelse;
Therefore say - to [the] house of Israel thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh ¿ in [the] way? of ancestors your [are] you making yourselves unclean and after detestable things their [are] you? acting as prostitutes.
31 Och besmitten eder på edra afgudar, hvilkom I offren edra gåfvor, och uppbrännen edra söner och döttrar i eld, allt intill denna dag; och jag skulle gifva eder af Israels hus svar? Så sant som jag lefver, säger Herren Herren, jag skall intet svar gifva eder.
And when lift up gifts your when make pass children your in the fire you [are] making yourselves unclean to all idols your until this day and I will I let myself be consulted? by you O house of Israel [by] [the] life of me [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh if I will let myself be consulted by you.
32 Dertill, då I tänken: Vi vilje göra lika som Hedningarna, och såsom annor folk i landen, och tillbedja stockar och stenar, skall det fela eder.
And the [thing which] comes up on spirit your certainly not it will happen [that] which - you [are] saying we will be like the nations like [the] clans of the lands to serve wood and stone.
33 Så sant som jag lefver, säger Herren Herren, jag skall råda öfver eder med starka hand och uträcktom arm, och med utgjuten grymhet;
[by] [the] life Of me [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh if not by a hand strong and by an arm outstretched and with rage poured out I will reign over you.
34 Och skall föra eder ifrå folken, och församla eder utu de land, dit I förströdde ären, med starka hand, med uträcktom arm, och med utgjuten grymhet;
And I will bring out you from the peoples and I will gather you from the lands which you have been scattered among them by a hand strong and by an arm outstretched and with rage poured out.
35 Och skall låta eder komma uti folks öken, och der vara i rätta med eder, ansigte emot ansigte.
And I will bring you into [the] wilderness of the peoples and I will enter into judgment with you there face to face.
36 Lika som jag med edra fäder uti öknene vid Egypten i rätta var, rätt så skall jag vara i rätta med eder, säger Herren Herren.
Just as I entered into judgment with ancestors your in [the] wilderness of [the] land of Egypt so I will enter into judgment with you [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.
37 Jag skall låta komma eder under riset, och tvinga eder uti förbundsens bandom.
And I will make pass you under the rod and I will bring you in [the] bond of the covenant.
38 Och jag skall utfäja de affälliga, och de som emot mig öfverträda, ibland eder; ja, jag skall föra dem utu det land, der I nu bon, och intet låta dem komma in uti Israels land, att I lära skolen, att jag är Herren.
And I will purge from you those [who] rebel and those [who] transgress against me from [the] land of sojournings their I will bring out them and into [the] land of Israel not he will go and you will know that I [am] Yahweh.
39 Derföre, I af Israels hus, detta säger Herren Herren: Efter I ju intet viljen höra mig, så görer som eder täckes, och hvar edra tjene sinom afgud; men mitt helga Namn låter härefter oskämdt vara, med edor offer och afgudar.
And you O house of Israel thus he says - [the] Lord Yahweh everyone idols his go serve and after if not you [will be] listening to me and [the] name of holiness my not you will profane again by gifts your and by idols your.
40 Ty detta säger Herren Herren: På mino heligo berge, på de höga bergena Israel, der skall hela Israels hus, och alle de som i landet äro, tjena mig; der skola de vara mig tacknämlige, och der skall jag äska uppå edor häfoffer och edars offers förstling, med allt det I mig helgen.
For on [the] mountain of holiness my on [the] mountain of - [the] height of Israel [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh there they will serve me all [the] house of Israel all of it in the land there I will accept them and there I will seek contributions your and [the] choicest of gifts your with all holy things your.
41 I skolen varda mig tacknämlige med sötom rök, när jag låter eder komma ifrå folken, och varder eder församlande utu landen, dit I förströdde ären, och jag skull varda helgad i eder för Hedningomen.
An odor of soothing I will accept you when bring out I you from the peoples and I will gather you from the lands which you have been scattered among them and I will show myself holy among you to [the] eyes of the nations.
42 Och I skolen förnimma, att jag är Herren, när jag hafver låtit eder komma in uti Israels land, uti det land, om hvilket jag upphof mina hand, att jag det edra fäder gifva skulle.
And you will know that I [am] Yahweh when bring I you into [the] land of Israel into the land which I lifted up hand my to give it to ancestors your.
43 Der skolen I tänka uppå edart väsende, och uppå all edar handel, der I utinnan orenade ären, och skolen hafva ett misshag till all edor ondsko, som I bedrifvit hafven;
And you will remember there ways your and all practices your which you have made yourselves unclean by them and you will loathe faces your for all wicked deeds your which you have done.
44 Och skolen förnimma, att jag är Herren, när jag gör med eder för mitt Namns skull, och icke efter edart onda väsende och skadeliga handel, du Israels hus, säger Herren Herren.
And you will know that I [am] Yahweh when do I with you for [the] sake of name my not according to ways your wicked and according to practices your corrupt O house of Israel [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.
45 Och Herrans ord skedde till mig, och sade:
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
46 Du menniskobarn, ställ ditt ansigte emot Theman, och tala söderut, och prophetera emot den skogen i den markene söderut.
O son of humankind set face your [the] direction south-ward and prophesy against [the] south and prophesy against [the] forest of the field [the] south.
47 Och säg till den skogen söderut: Hör Herrans ord. Detta säger Herren Herren: Si, jag skall upptända i dig en eld, han skall förtära både färsk trä och torr, så att man icke skall kunna utsläcka hans låga; utan allt det som ifrå sunnan norråt står, det skall uppbrändt varda.
And you will say to [the] forest of the south hear [the] word of Yahweh thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh here I [am] about to kindle in you - a fire and it will consume in you every tree moist and every tree dry not it will be extinguished [the] flame of flame and they will be scorched by it all faces from [the] south [the] north towards.
48 Och allt kött skall se att jag, Herren, det upptändt hafver, och ingen det utsläcka kan.
And they will see all flesh that I Yahweh I have kindled it not it will be extinguished.
49 Och jag sade: Ack Herre Herre! de säga om mig: Denne talar icke annat än förtäckt ord:
And I said alas! O Lord Yahweh they [are] saying of me ¿ not making a parable parables [is] he.
