2 Mosebok 40
1 Och Herren talade med Mose, och sade:
Then the LORD said to Moses,
2 På första dagen i den första månaden skall du uppsätta vittnesbördsens tabernakel;
“On the first day of the first month you are to set up the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting.
3 Och skall deruti sätta vittnesbördsens ark, och hänga förlåten för arken;
Put the ark of the Testimony in it and screen off the ark with the veil.
4 Och skall bära bordet dit, och reda det till, och ställa der ljusastakan, och lamporna sätta deruppå;
Then bring in the table and set out its arrangement; bring in the lampstand as well, and set up its lamps.
5 Och skall sätta det gyldene rökaltaret för vittnesbördsens ark, och upphänga klädet i dörrene af tabernaklet.
Place the gold altar of incense in front of the ark of the Testimony, and hang the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.
6 Och bränneoffersaltaret skall du sätta inför dörrene af vittnesbördsens tabernakel;
Place the altar of burnt offering in front of the entrance to the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting.
7 Och tvättekaret emellan vittnesbördsens tabernakel och altaret, och låta der vatten in;
And place the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water in it.
8 Och göra gården omkring, och upphänga klädet i ingången på gårdenom;
Set up the surrounding courtyard and hang the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard.
9 Och skall taga smörjooljo, och smörja tabernaklet, och allt det derinne är; och skall viga det med all dess redskap, att det skall vara heligt;
Take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and everything in it; consecrate it along with all its furnishings, and it shall be holy.
10 Och skall smörja bränneoffersaltaret med all sin redskap, och vigat, att det skall vara aldrahelgast.
Anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils; consecrate the altar, and it shall be most holy.
11 Skall du också smörja och viga tvättekaret med dess fot.
Anoint the basin and its stand and consecrate them.
12 Och du skall hafva Aaron och hans söner fram för dörrena af vittnesbördsens tabernakel, och två dem med vatten;
Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and wash them with water.
13 Och kläda på Aaron de helga kläden, och smörja och viga honom, att han skall vara min Prest;
And you are to clothe Aaron with the holy garments, anoint him, and consecrate him, so that he may serve Me as a priest.
14 Och hafva desslikes hans söner fram, och kläda uppå dem de trånga kjortlarna;
Bring his sons forward and clothe them with tunics.
15 Och smörja dem, såsom du hafver smort deras fader, att de skola vara mine Prester. Och denna smörjelsen skola de hafva till ett evigt Presterskap när deras efterkommande.
Anoint them just as you anointed their father, so that they may also serve Me as priests. Their anointing will qualify them for a permanent priesthood throughout their generations.”
16 Och Mose gjorde allt det Herren honom budit hade.
Moses did everything just as the LORD had commanded him.
17 Så vardt tabernaklet uppsatt i de andra årena på första dagenom i den första månaden.
So the tabernacle was set up on the first day of the first month of the second year.
18 Och då Mose uppsatte det, satte han fötterna och bräden, och skottstängerna, och reste upp stolparna;
When Moses set up the tabernacle, he laid its bases, positioned its frames, inserted its crossbars, and set up its posts.
19 Och sträckte ut öfvertäckelset till ett tabernakel, och lade dess täckelse ofvanuppå, såsom Herren honom budit hade;
Then he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering over the tent, just as the LORD had commanded him.
20 Och tog vittnesbördet, och lade det in i arken, och satte stängerna på arken, och satte nådastolen ofvanpå arken;
Moses took the Testimony and placed it in the ark, attaching the poles to the ark; and he set the mercy seat atop the ark.
21 Och bar arken in i tabernaklet, och hängde förlåten för vittnesbördsens ark, såsom Herren honom budit hade;
Then he brought the ark into the tabernacle, put up the veil for the screen, and shielded off the ark of the Testimony, just as the LORD had commanded him.
22 Och satte bordet in uti vittnesbördsens tabernakel, på den sidon i tabernaklet norrut, utanför förlåten;
Moses placed the table in the Tent of Meeting on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the veil.
23 Och gjorde bröd redo deruppå för Herranom, såsom Herren honom budit hade;
He arranged the bread on it before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.
24 Och satte desslikes ljusastakan derin tvärtöfver ifrå bordet, på den sidon i tabernaklet söderut;
He also placed the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle
25 Och lät komma lamporna deruppå för Herranom, såsom Herren honom budit hade;
and set up the lamps before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.
26 Och satte gyldene altaret derin för förlåten;
Moses placed the gold altar in the Tent of Meeting, in front of the veil,
27 Och rökte deruppå med godt rökverk, såsom Herren honom budit hade;
and he burned fragrant incense on it, just as the LORD had commanded him.
28 Och hängde klädet in i dörrena af tabernaklet.
Then he put up the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.
29 Men bränneoffersaltaret satte han för dörrena af vittnesbördsens tabernakel, och offrade deruppå bränneoffer och spisoffer, såsom Herren honom budit hade.
He placed the altar of burnt offering near the entrance to the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the grain offering, just as the LORD had commanded him.
30 Och tvättekaret satte han emellan vittnesbördsens tabernakel och altaret, och lät vatten derin, till att två sig med.
He placed the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing;
31 Och Mose, Aaron och hans söner tvådde deras händer och fötter derutur.
and from it Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and feet.
32 Förty de måste två sig, när de gingo in uti vittnesbördsens tabernakel, eller framträdde till altaret, såsom Herren dem budit hade.
They washed whenever they entered the Tent of Meeting or approached the altar, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
33 Och gjorde han gården redo, kringom tabernaklet, och omkring altaret, och hängde klädet i ingången på gårdenom. Och alltså fullkomnade Mose det hela verket.
And Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and the altar, and he hung the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard. So Moses finished the work.
34 Och så öfvertäckte en molnsky vittnesbördsens tabernakel; och Herrans härlighet uppfyllde tabernaklet.
Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
35 Och Mose kunde icke gå in uti vittnesbördsens tabernakel, så länge som molnskyn blef deröfver, och Herrans härlighet uppfyllde tabernaklet.
Moses was unable to enter the Tent of Meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
36 Och när molnskyn gaf sig upp ifrå tabernaklet, så foro Israels barn, så ofta som de reste.
Whenever the cloud was lifted from above the tabernacle, the Israelites would set out through all the stages of their journey.
37 När molnskyn icke gaf sig upp, då foro de intet, allt intill den dagen han sig uppgaf.
If the cloud was not lifted, they would not set out until the day it was taken up.
38 Förty Herrans molnsky var om dagen öfver tabernaklet, och om natten var eld derinne, för hela Israels hus ögon, så länge de reste.
For the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel through all their journeys.
