2 Mosebok 2
1 Och en man gick bort af Levi hus, och tog ena Levi dotter.
And he went a man from [the] house of Levi and he took [the] daughter of Levi.
2 Och qvinnan aflade, och födde en son. Och då hon såg att det var ett dägeligt barn, fördolde hon det i tre månader.
And she conceived the woman and she bore a son and she saw him that [was] good he and she hid him three months.
3 Och då hon icke längre kunde fördölja det, tog hon ena kisto af rör, och beströk henne med ler och beck, och lade barnet deruti, och hof henne ut i vassen vid strandena af älfvene.
And not she was able still to hide him and she took for him a basket of papyrus and sealed it she with bitumen and with pitch and she put in it the child and she put [it] among the rush[es] at [the] bank of the River.
4 Och hans syster stod långt ifrå, på det hon skulle se huru honom skulle varda gångandes.
And she stood sister his from a distance to know what? will it be done to him.
5 Och Pharaos dotter kom ned, och skulle två sig i älfvene, och hennes jungfrur gingo utmed bräddene af älfvene; och då hon fick se kistona i vassenom, sände hon sina pigo dit, och lät hemta henne;
And she went down [the] daughter of Pharaoh to bathe at the River and female attendants her [were] walking on [the] side of the River and she saw the basket in among the rush[es] and she sent maid her (and fetched it she *L(abh)*)
6 Och då hon upplyckte henne, fick hon se barnet, och si, barnet gret. Då ömkade hon sig deröfver, och sade: Detta är ett af de Ebreiska barnen.
and she opened [it] and she saw him the child and there! a lad [was] crying and she had compassion on him and she said [is] one of [the] children of the Hebrews this.
7 Då sade hans syster till Pharaos dotter: Vill du, att jag går och kallar till dig ena Ebreiska qvinno, som dia gifver, att hon ammar dig barnet upp?
And she said sister his to [the] daughter of Pharaoh ¿ will I go and will I call? for you a woman a suckling-nurse from the Hebrew [women] so she may suckle for you the child.
8 Pharaos dotter sade till henne: Gack. Pigan gick, och kallade barnsens moder.
And she said to her [the] daughter of Pharaoh go and she went the young woman and she called [the] mother of the child.
9 Då sade Pharaos dotter till henne: Tag detta barnet, och amma mig det upp, jag vill löna dig. Qvinnan tog barnet, och ammade det.
And she said to her [the] daughter of Pharaoh take the child this and suckle him for me and I I will pay wage[s] your and she took the woman the child and she suckled him.
10 Och då barnet var stort vordet, antvardade hon det Pharaos dotter, och hon anammade honom för sin son, och kallade honom Mose, ty hon sade: Utu vattnet hafver jag tagit honom.
And he grew up the child and she took him to [the] daughter of Pharaoh and he became to her a son and she called name his Moses and she said that from the water I drew him.
11 På den tiden, när Mose var stor vorden, gick han ut till sina bröder, och såg deras tunga; och vardt varse, att en Egyptisk man slog hans broder, en af de Ebreiska.
And it was - in the days those and he grew up Moses and he went out to brothers his and he looked on forced labor their and he saw a man Egyptian striking a man Hebrew one of brothers his.
12 Och han vände sig hit och dit, och då han såg, att der ingen menniska var, slog han den Egyptiska, och begrof honom uti sandenom.
And he turned thus and thus and he saw that there not [was] a person and he struck down the Egyptian and he hid him in the sand.
13 I den andra dagen gick han ock ut, och såg två Ebreiska män träta sinsemellan, och sade till den som orätt gjorde: Hvi slår du din nästa?
And he went out on the day second and there! two men Hebrew [were] struggling together and he said to the guilty [one] why? are you striking companion your.
14 Han svarade: Ho hafver gjort dig till höfvitsman eller domare öfver oss? Vill du ock slå mig ihjäl, såsom du hafver slagit den Egyptiska mannen? Då fruktade Mose, och sade: Huru är detta uppkommet?
And he said who? did he appoint you to a man a chief and a judge over us ¿ to kill me [are] you saying just as you killed the Egyptian and he was afraid Moses and he thought truly it is known the matter.
15 Och det kom för Pharao, och han sökte efter att dräpa Mose. Men Mose flydde för Pharao, och blef i Midians lande, och bodde vid en brunn.
And he heard Pharaoh the matter this and he sought to kill Moses and he fled Moses from before Pharaoh and he dwelt in [the] land of Midian and he sat at the well.
16 Men Presten i Midian hade sju döttrar; de kommo till att vinda vatten, och de uppfyllde hoar till att vattna sins faders får.
And [belonged] to [the] priest of Midian seven daughters and they came and they drew and they filled the drinking troughs to water [the] flock of father their.
17 Då kommo någre herdar, och drefvo dem ifrå; men Mose gaf sig upp, och halp dem, och vattnade deras får.
And they came the shepherds and they drove away them and he arose Moses and he delivered them and he watered flock their.
18 Och då de kommo till sin fader Reguel, sade han: Hvi kommen I i dag snarare än I plägen?
And they went to Reuel father their and he said why? did you hurry to come this day.
19 De sade: En Egyptisk man halp oss för herdarna, och vand med oss vatten, och vattnade fåren.
And they said a man Egyptian he rescued us from [the] hand of the shepherds and also carefully he drew for us and he watered the flock.
20 Han sade till sina döttrar: Hvar är han? Hvi läten I så blifva mannen, och icke båden honom komma och äta med oss?
And he said to daughters his and where [is]? he why? this have you left the man invite him so he may eat food.
21 Och Mose belefvade att blifva när den mannenom; och han gaf Mose sina dotter Zipora.
And he was willing Moses to dwell with the man and he gave Zipporah daughter his to Moses.
22 Hon födde honom en son, och han kallade honom Gerson; ty han sade: Jag är en utländning vorden i främmande lande. Och hon födde ännu en son, den kallade han Elieser, och sade: Mins faders Gud är min hjelpare, och hafver frälst mig utu Pharaos händer.
And she bore a son and he called name his Gershom for he said a sojourner I have become in a land foreign.
23 Någon tid derefter blef Konungen i Egypten död. Och Israels barn suckade öfver deras arbete, och ropade, och deras rop kom till Gud öfver deras släpan.
And it was in the days many those and he died [the] king of Egypt and they groaned [the] people of Israel from the labor and they cried out and it went up cry for help their to God from the labor.
24 Och Gud hörde deras klagan, och tänkte på sitt förbund med Abraham, Isaac och Jacob.
And he heard God groaning their and he remembered God covenant his with Abraham with Isaac and with Jacob.
25 Och han såg dertill, och lät sig vårda om dem.
And he saw God [the] people of Israel and he knew God.
