5 Mosebok 6

1 Desse äro nu de lag, och bud, och rätter, som Herren edar Gud budit hafver, att I dem lära och göra skolen i landena, dit I indragen till att intaga det;

These ben the comaundementis, and cerymonyes, and domes, whiche youre Lord God comaundide that Y schulde teche you, and that ye do tho in the lond to which ye passen ouer to welde;

2 Att du fruktar Herran din Gud, och håller alla hans rätter och bud, som jag bjuder dig; du och din barn, och din barnabarn, i alla edra lifsdagar, på det I skolen länge lefva.

that thou drede thi Lord God, and kepe alle hise comaundementis, and heestis, whiche Y comaunde to thee, and to thi sones, and sones of sones, in alle the daies of thi lijf, that thi daies be lengthid.

3 Israel, du skall höra, och behållat, så att du gör ock så, att dig väl går, och varder mycket förökad, såsom Herren dina fäders Gud dig tillsagt hafver ett land, der mjölk och hannog uti flyter.

Thou Israel, here, and kepe, that thou do tho thingis whiche the Lord comaundide to thee, and that it be wel to thee, and thou be multiplied more, as the Lord God of thi fadris bihiyte, to yyue to thee a lond flowynge with mylk and hony.

4 Hör, Israel: Herren vår Gud är en enig Herre.

Thou Israel, here, thi Lord God is o God.

5 Och du skall älska Herran din Gud af allo hjerta, af allo själ, af allo förmågo.

Thou schalt loue thi Lord God of al thin herte, and of al thi soule, and of al thi strengthe.

6 Och dessa ord, som jag bjuder dig i dag, skall du lägga på hjertat;

And these wordis whiche Y comaunde to thee to dai, schulen be in thin herte;

7 Och skall skärpa dem dinom barnom, och derom tala, när du sitter i ditt hus, eller går uppå vägen; när du nederlägger dig, eller uppstår;

and thou schalt telle tho to thi sones, and thou schalt thenke on tho, sittynge in thin hows, and goynge in the weie, slepynge, and rysinge.

8 Och skall binda dem för ett tecken på dine hand, och skola vara dig till en åminnelse för din ögon;

And thou schalt bynde tho as a signe in thin hond; and tho schulen be, and schulen be moued bifor thin iyen; and thou schalt write tho in the lyntel,

9 Och skall skrifva dem på dins hus dörrträ, och uppå dörrena.

and in the doris of thin hows.

10 När nu Herren din Gud låter dig komma uti landet, som han dina fäder, Abraham, Isaac och Jacob, svorit hafver, dig att gifva stora och sköna städer, som du intet byggt hafver;

And whanne thi Lord God hath brouyt thee in to the lond, for which he swoor to thi fadris, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and hath youe to thee grete citees, and beeste, whiche thou bildidist not,

11 Och hus full med allt godt, de du intet uppfyllt hafver; och uthuggna brunnar, som du intet uthuggit hafver; och vingårdar och oljoberg, som du intet planterat hafver, att du må äta och mätt varda;

housis fulle of alle richessis, whiche thou madist not, and cisternes, which thou diggedist not, `places of vynes, and `places of olyues, whiche thou plauntidist not,

12 Så tag dig vara, att du icke förgäter Herran, som dig utur Egypti land, utu träldomens hus, fört hafver;

and thou hast ete, and art fillid,

13 Utan skall frukta Herran din Gud, och tjena honom, och svärja vid hans Namn;

be war diligentli, lest thou foryete the Lord, that ladde thee out of the lond of Egipt, fro the hows of seruage. Thou schalt drede thi Lord God, and thou schalt serue hym aloone, `bi seruyce due to God onely, and thou schalt swere bi his name.

14 Och skall icke följa andra gudar efter, dess folks, som omkring eder bo;

Ye schulen not go aftir alien goddis, of alle hethen men that ben `in youre cumpas;

15 Ty Herren din Gud är en nitälskande Gud ibland dig; att Herrans dins Guds vrede icke skall förgrymma sig öfver dig, och förgöra dig af jordene.

for God is a feruent louyere, thi Lord God is in the myddis of thee, lest ony tyme the `strong veniaunce of thi Lord God be wrooth ayens thee, and do awei thee fro `the face of the erthe.

16 I skolen icke försöka Herran edar Gud, såsom I försökten honom i Massa;

Thou schalt not tempte thi Lord God, as thou temptidist in the place of temptyng.

17 Utan skolen hålla Herrans edars Guds bud, och hans vittnesbörder, och hans rätter, som han budit hafver;

Kepe thou the comaundementis of thi Lord God, and the witnessyngis, and cerymonyes, whiche he comaundide to thee;

18 Att du gör det rätt och godt är för Herrans ögon, på det dig må gå väl, och du inkommer, och intager det goda landet, som Herren svorit hafver dina fäder;

and do thou that that is plesaunt and good in the siyt of the Lord, that it be wel to thee, and that thou entre, and welde the beste lond, of which the Lord swoor to thi fadris,

19 Att han skall fördrifva alla dina fiendar för dig, såsom Herren sagt hafver.

that he schulde do awey alle thin enemyes bifor thee, as he spak.

20 När nu din son i dag eller i morgon frågar dig, och säger: Hvad är detta för vittnesbörder, bud och rätter, som Herren vår Gud eder budit hafver?

And whanne thi sone schal axe thee to morewe, that is, in tyme comyng, and schal seie, What wolen these witnessyngis, and cerymonyes, and domes to hem silf, whiche oure Lord God comaundide to vs?

21 Så skall du säga dinom son: Vi vorom Pharaos trälar i Egypten; och Herren förde oss utur Egypten med mägtiga hand.

thou schalt seie to hym, We weren `seruauntis of Farao in Egipt, and the Lord ledde vs out of Egipt, in strong hond;

22 Och Herren gjorde stor och ond tecken och under öfver Egypten och Pharao, och allt hans hus, för vår ögon;

and he dide myraclis, and grete wondris, and werste, `that is, moost peyneful veniaunces, in Egipt, ayens Farao and al his hows, in oure siyt.

23 Och förde oss dädan, på det han skulle införa oss, och gifva oss det land, som han våra fäder svorit hade.

And he ledde vs out therof, that he schulde yyue to vs led yn, the lond of which he swoor to oure fadris.

24 Och böd Herren oss att göra efter alla dessa rätter, att vi skole frukta Herran vår Gud, att oss väl går i alla våra lifsdagar, såsom det tillgår i denna dag.

And the Lord comaundide to vs, that we do alle these lawful thingis, and drede oure Lord God, that it be wel to vs in alle the daies of oure lijf, as it is to dai.

25 Och det skall vara oss till rättfärdighet för Herranom vårom Gud, om vi hålle och göre all dessa buden, såsom han oss budit hafver.

And he schal be merciful to vs, if we schulen do and kepe alle hise heestis, bifor oure Lord God, as he comaundide to vs.
