5 Mosebok 28
1 Och om du Herrans dins Guds röst lydig äst, att du behåller och gör all hans bud, som jag bjuder dig i dag; så skall Herren din Gud göra dig högst öfver allt folk på jordene.
And it will be certainly [if] you will listen to [the] voice of Yahweh God your to take care to observe all commandments his which I [am] commanding you this day and he will set you Yahweh God your most high above all [the] nations of the earth.
2 Och all denna välsignelsen skola komma öfver dig, och drabba på dig, derföre att du hafver varit Herrans dins Guds röst hörig.
And they will come on you all the blessings these and they will overtake you if you will listen to [the] voice of Yahweh God your.
3 Välsignad skall du vara uti stadenom, välsignad på åkrenom;
[will be] blessed You in the city and [will be] blessed you in the open country.
4 Välsignad skall vara dins lifs frukt, dins lands frukt, och frukten af dinom boskap, frukten af ditt fä, frukten af din får;
[will be] blessed [the] fruit of Womb your and [the] fruit of ground your and [the] fruit of livestock your [the] young of cattle your and [the] young ones of sheep your.
5 Välsignad varder din korg, och dina öfverlefvor;
[will be] blessed Basket your and kneading trough your.
6 Välsignad skall du vara, när du ingår; välsignad, när du utgår.
[will be] blessed You when coming you and [will be] blessed you when going out you.
7 Och Herren skall dina fiendar, som sig emot dig resa, låta falla för dig; på en väg skola de komma ut emot dig, och på sju vägar fly för dig.
He will make Yahweh enemies your who will arise on you defeated before you in a direction one they will come out against you and in seven directions they will flee before you.
8 Herren skall bjuda välsignelsen, att hon är med dig i ditt visthus, och i allt det du företager; och skall välsigna dig i landena, som Herren din Gud dig gifvit hafver.
He will command Yahweh with you the blessing in barns your and in every undertaking of hand your and he will bless you in the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you.
9 Herren skall upprätta dig sig till ett heligt folk, såsom han dig svorit hafver; derföre, att du Herrans dins Guds bud håller, och vandrar i hans vägar;
(He will establish you *LB(ah)*) Yahweh for himself to a people holy just as he swore to you that [if] you will keep [the] commandments of Yahweh God your and you will walk in ways his.
10 Att all folk på jordene skola se, att du nämnd är efter Herrans Namn; och skola frukta dig.
And they will see all [the] peoples of the earth that [the] name of Yahweh it is called on you and they will be afraid from you.
11 Och Herren skall göra, att du skall öfverflöda i alla ägodelar; i dine lifs frukt, i dins boskaps frukt, i dins åkers frukt, på landena som Herren dina fäder svorit hafver dig till att gifva.
And he will make abound you Yahweh to good in [the] fruit of womb your and in [the] fruit of livestock your and in [the] fruit of ground your on the land which he swore Yahweh to ancestors your to give to you.
12 Och Herren skall öppna dig sina goda håfvor, himmelen, att han skall gifva dino lande regn i sinom tid, och att han skall välsigna all dina händers verk; och du skall låna mycket folk, och du skall taga till låns af ingom.
He will open Yahweh - for you storehouse his good the heavens to give [the] rain of land your at appropriate time its and to bless all [the] work of hand your and you will lend to nations many and you not you will borrow.
13 Och Herren skall göra dig till hufvud, och icke till stjert, och skall alltid sväfva ofvanuppå, och icke underligga; derföre, att du äst lydig Herrans dins Guds bud, som jag dig bjuder i denna dag, till att hålla och göra;
And he will make you Yahweh into [the] head and not into [the] tail and you will be only upwards and not you will be downwards if you will listen to [the] commandments of - Yahweh God your which I [am] commanding you this day to take care and to do.
14 Och hafver icke vikit ifrå något det ord, som jag bjuder dig i dag, hvarken på den högra sidon, eller på den venstra, så att du efterföljde andra gudar, till att tjena dem.
And not you will turn aside from all the words which I [am] commanding you this day right [hand] and left [hand] to walk after gods other to serve them.
15 Om du ock icke lyder Herrans dins Guds röst, så att du håller och gör all hans bud och rätter, som jag bjuder dig i dag, så skola all denna förbannelsen komma öfver dig, och drabba på dig.
And it will be if not you will listen to [the] voice of Yahweh God your to take care to observe all commandments his and statutes his which I [am] commanding you this day and they will come on you all the curses these and they will overtake you.
16 Förbannad skall du vara i stadenom; förbannad på åkrenom;
[will be] cursed You in the city and [will be] cursed you in the open country.
17 Förbannad skall vara din korg, och dina öfverlefvor;
[will be] cursed Basket your and kneading trough your.
18 Förbannad skall vara dins lifs frukt, dins lands frukt, frukten af ditt fä, frukten af din får;
[will be] cursed [the] fruit of Womb your and [the] fruit of ground your [the] young of cattle your and [the] young ones of sheep your.
19 Förbannad skall du vara, när du ingår: förbannad, när du utgår.
[will be] cursed You when coming you and [will be] cursed you when going out you.
20 Herren skall sända ibland dig armod, ofrid och oråd, öfver allt det du tager dig före att göra, tilldess han förgör dig, och förderfvar dig snarliga, för dina onda gerningars skull, att du mig öfvergifvit hafver.
He will send Yahweh - on you the curse confusion and rebuke in every undertaking of hand your which you will do until being destroyed you and until perishing you quickly because of [the] wickedness of deeds your which you have forsaken me.
21 Herren skall låta pestilentie låda vid dig, tilldess han gör ända med dig på landena, dit du kommer till att intaga det.
He will make cling Yahweh to you pestilence until has destroyed he you from on the land where you [are] about to go there towards to take possession of it.
22 Herren skall slå dig med svullnad, skälfvo, hetta, bränno, torrhet och blekhet; och skall förfölja dig, tilldess han förgör dig.
He will strike you Yahweh with consumption and with fever and with inflammation and with feverish heat and with the sword and with blight and with mildew and they will pursue you until perishing you.
23 Himmelen, som öfver ditt hufvud är, skall vara som koppar; och jorden under dig såsom jern.
And they will be heavens your which [are] over head your bronze and the ground which [is] under you iron.
24 Herren skall gifva dino lande stoft och asko för regn af himmelen öfver dig, tilldess han förgör dig.
He will make Yahweh [the] rain of land your dust and dust from the heavens it will come down on you until being destroyed you.
25 Herren skall låta slå dig för dina fiendar; på en väg skall du draga ut till dem, och på sju vägar skall du fly ifrå dem; och skall varda förströdd kringom all rike på jordene.
He will make you Yahweh - defeated before enemies your in a direction one you will go out against him and in seven directions you will flee before him and you will become a terror to all [the] kingdoms of the earth.
26 Din lekamen skall till mat vara allom himmelens foglom, och allom vilddjurom på jordene, och ingen skall vara, som dem afdrifver,
And it will become corpse your food for every bird of the heavens and for [the] animal[s] of the earth and there not [will be one who] disturbs [them].
27 Herren skall slå dig med Egyptes böld, med fikbölder, med skabb och klåda, så att du icke skall kunna varda hel.
He will strike you Yahweh with [the] boil[s] of Egypt (and with tumors *Q(K)*) and with eczema and with scabies which not you will be able to be healed.
28 Herren skall slå dig med ursinnighet, blindhet, och hjertans rasande.
He will strike you Yahweh with madness and with blindness and with bewilderment of heart.
29 Och du skall famla om middagen, såsom en blinder famlar i mörkret, och skall ingen lycko hafva på dina vägar; och skall lida våld och orätt så länge du lefver, och ingen skall hjelpa dig.
And you will be groping in the noontide just as he gropes blind [person] in the darkness and not you will make successful ways your and you will be only oppressed and robbed all the days and there not [will be] a deliverer.
30 Du skall trolofva dig hustru, men en annar skall sofva när henne; du skall bygga dig hus, men en annar skall bo deruti; du skall plantera vingård, men du skall icke bergan.
A woman you will betroth and a man another (he will lie with her *Q(K)*) a house you will build and not you will dwell in it a vineyard you will plant and not (you will put to use it. *L(abh)*)
31 Din oxe skall för din ögon slagtad varda, men du skall intet få äta af honom; din åsne skall för din ögon med våld tagen varda, och skall dig intet igengifven varda; din får skola varda gifne dinom fiendom, och ingen skall hjelpa dig.
Ox your [will be] slaughtered to eyes your and not you will eat any of it donkey your [will be] seized from to before you and not anyone will return [it] to you flock your [will be] given to enemies your and not [will belong] to you a deliverer.
32 Dine söner och dina döttrar skola andro folke gifne varda, så att din ögon skola se deruppå, och uppgifvas öfver dem dagliga; och ingen starkhet skall vara i dina händer.
Sons your and daughters your [will be] given to a people another and eyes your [will be] looking and longing to them all the day and not [it is] to [the] power of hand your.
33 Frukten af dino lande, och allt ditt arbete skall ett folk förtära, som du intet känner; och du skall orätt lida, och förtryckt varda i alla dina dagar;
[the] fruit of Ground your and all [the] result of toil your it will eat a people which not you have known and you will be only oppressed and crushed all the days.
34 Och skall ursinnig blifva för sådana syn, som din ögon se skola.
And you will be driven mad from [the] sight[s] of eyes your which you will see.
35 Herren skall slå dig med en ond böld på knän, och uppå benkalfvana, att du icke skall kunna helas ifrå fotbjellet intill hjessan.
He will strike you Yahweh with boil[s] bad on the knees and on the legs which not you will be able to be healed from [the] sole of foot your and to scalp your.
36 Herren skall drifva dig och din Konung, som du öfver dig satt hafver, till ett folk, som du intet känner eller dina fäder; och der skall du tjena andra gudar, stockar och stenar;
He will lead Yahweh you and king your whom you will raise up over you to a nation which not you have known you and ancestors your and you will serve there gods other wood and stone.
37 Och skall varda till en grufvelse, och till ett ordspråk och gabberi ibland all folk, dit Herren dig drifvit hafver.
And you will become a horror a byword and a taunt among all the peoples where he will drive away you Yahweh there towards.
38 Du skall mycken säd föra ut på markena, och litet införa; ty gräshoppor skola det uppäta.
Seed much you will take out the field and little you will gather for it will consume it the locust[s].
39 Du skall plantera och bruka vingård, men intet vinet dricka eller hemta; ty matkar skola förtärat.
Vineyards you will plant and you will labor and wine not you will drink and not you will gather for it will eat it the worm[s].
40 Du skall hafva oljoträ i allom dinom landsändom, men du skall icke smörja dig med oljone; ty ditt oljoträ skall uppryckt varda.
Olive trees they will belong to you in all territory your and oil not you will anoint yourself for it will drop off olive[s] your.
41 Söner och döttrar skall du föda, och dock intet hafva dem; ty de skola varda bortförde.
Sons and daughters you will father and not they will belong to you for they will go in captivity.
42 All din trä och dins lands frukt skall ohyra förtära.
Every tree your and [the] fruit of ground your it will take possession of the locust[s].
43 Främlingen, som när dig är, skall stiga öfver dig, och alltid blifva öfverst; men du skall stiga neder, och alltid ligga under.
The sojourner who [is] in midst your he will go up above you up-wards up-wards and you you will go down downwards downwards.
44 Han skall låna dig, men du skall intet låna honom: han skall vara hufvudet, och du skall vara stjerten.
He he will lend to you and you not you will lend to him he he will become [the] head and you you will become into [the] tail.
45 Och all denna förbannelsen skola komma öfver dig, och förfölja dig, och drabba uppå dig, tilldess du blifver omintet; derföre, att du Herrans dins Guds röst icke hört hafver, att du måtte hållit hans bud och rätter, som han dig budit hafver.
And they will come on you all the curses these and they will pursue you and they will overtake you until being destroyed you for not you listened to [the] voice of Yahweh God your to keep commandments his and statutes his which he has commanded you.
46 Derföre skola tecken och under varda på dig och dine säd till evig tid;
And they will become among you a sign and a wonder and among offspring your until perpetuity.
47 Att du icke hafver tjent Herranom dinom Gud med gladt och lustigt hjerta, då du allahanda nog hade.
Because that not you have served Yahweh God your with joy and with goodness of heart from [the] abundance of everything.
48 Och du skall tjena dinom fienda, som Herren dig tillskickandes varder, i hunger och törst, i nakenhet och allahanda nöd; och han skall lägga på din hals ett jernok, tilldess han förgör dig.
And you will serve enemies your whom he will send forth him Yahweh on you in hunger and in thirst and in nakedness and in lack of everything and he will put a yoke of iron on neck your until has destroyed he you.
49 Herren skall låta folk komma på dig fjerranefter ifrå verldenes ända, såsom en örn flyger, hvilkets mål du icke förstå kan;
He will raise up Yahweh on you a nation from a distance from [the] end of the earth just as it swoops down eagle a nation which not you will understand language its.
50 Ett skamlöst folk, det icke skall hafva försyn för dens gamlas person, ej heller mildt är för den unga;
A nation fierce of face which not it will lift up face for an old [person] and a youth not it will show favor to.
51 Och skall förtära fruktena af din boskap, och fruktena af ditt land, tilldess han förgör dig; och skall intet låta dig qvart blifva, i korn, vin, oljo, i frukt af fä eller får, tilldess han gör dig omintet;
And it will devour [the] fruit of livestock your and [the] fruit of ground your until being destroyed you which not it will leave to you grain new wine and fresh oil [the] young of cattle your and [the] young ones of sheep your until destroys it you.
52 Och skall tränga dig i alla dina portar, tilldess han nederlägger dina höga och fasta murar, der du på förlåter dig i allo dino lande; och du skall trängd varda i alla dina portar, i hela dino lande, som Herren din Gud dig gifvit hafver.
And it will lay siege to you in all gates your until come down walls your high and fortified which you [are] trusting in them in all land your and it will lay siege to you in all gates your in all land your which he has given Yahweh God your to you.
53 Du skall äta fruktena af ditt eget lif; dins sons och dine dotters kött, som Herren din Gud dig gifvit hafver, i den ångest och nöd, som din fiende dig uti tvinga skall;
And you will eat [the] fruit of womb your [the] flesh of sons your and daughters your whom he has given to you Yahweh God your in [the] siege and in [the] distress which he will bring distress to you enemy your.
54 Så att en man, som tillförene kräseliga och i mycken vällust ibland eder lefvat hafver, skall missunna sinom broder, och hustrune som i hans famn är, och sonenom som ännu igenlefder är af hans söner;
The man gentle among you and delicate very it will be evil eye his on brother his and on [the] wife of bosom his and on [the] remainder of children his which it will remain.
55 Att gifva någromdera af sins sons kött, der han af äter; efter han nu intet mer hafver af alla sina ägodelar, i den ångest och nöd, som din fiende dig med tvinga skall uti alla dina portar.
From giving - to one from them any of [the] flesh of children his whom he will eat because not he has left to him anything in [the] siege and in [the] distress which he will bring distress to you enemy your in all gates your.
56 En qvinna ibland eder, som tillförene kräseliga och i vällust lefvat hafver, så att hon icke hafver försökt sätta sin fot på jordena för kräselighets och vällusts skull, hon skall icke unna mannenom som i hennes famn är, och sinom son, och sine dotter,
The gentle [woman] among you and the delicate [woman] who not she has attempted [the] sole of foot her to place on the ground because was delicate and from gentleness it will be evil eye her on [the] husband of bosom her and on son her and on daughter her.
57 Efterbördena, som emellan hennes ben utgången är; ja, ock sina söner, som hon födt hafver; förty de skola äta dem hemliga, för allahanda brists skull, i den ångest och nöd, med hvilko din fiende dig tvinga skall i dina portar.
And on afterbirth her which goes forth - from between feet her and on children her whom she will bear for she will eat them in lack of everything in secrecy in [the] siege and in [the] distress which he will bring distress to you enemy your in gates your.
58 Om du icke håller och gör all dessa lagsens ord, som i denna bokene skrifne äro, så att du fruktar detta härliga och förskräckeliga Namnet, Herran din Gud;
If not you will take care to observe all [the] words of the law this which are written in the book this to fear the name glorious and awesome this Yahweh God your.
59 Så skall Herren underliga hafva sig med dig, med plågo på dig och dina säd, med stora och långsamma plågor, med onda och långsamma krankheter;
And he will make extraordinary Yahweh plagues your and [the] plagues of offspring your plagues great and lasting and sicknesses harmful and lasting.
60 Och skall vända till dig alla de Egyptiska sjukdomar, der du rädes före; och de skola låda vid dig.
And he will bring back on you every disease of Egypt which you were afraid of them and they will cling to you.
61 Dertill alla krankheter, och alla plågor, som icke skrifne äro i denna lagbok, skall Herren låta komma öfver dig, tilldess att han förgör dig.
Also every sickness and every plague which not [is] written in [the] book of the law this he will bring up them Yahweh on you until being destroyed you.
62 Och fögo folk skall öfverblifva af eder, som tillförene voren såsom stjernorna på himmelen, för myckenhets skull; derföre, att du icke lydt hafver Herrans dins Guds röst.
And you will be left men of fewness in place of that you were like [the] stars of the heavens for multitude for not you have listened to [the] voice of Yahweh God your.
63 Och såsom Herren tillförene fröjdade sig öfver eder, att han gjorde eder godt, och förökade eder; så skall Herren fröjda sig öfver eder, att han förderfvar eder, och omintetgör; och I varden förstörde ifrå landena, der du nu indrager till att intaga det.
And it will be just as he rejoiced Yahweh on you to do good to you and to increase you so he will rejoice Yahweh on you to destroy you and to destroy you and you will be torn away from on the land where you [are] about to go there towards to take possession of it.
64 Ty Herren skall förskingra eder ibland all folk, ifrå den ena verldenes ända till den andra; och der skall du tjena andra gudar, som du intet känner, eller dine fäder, stock och sten.
And he will scatter you Yahweh among all the peoples from [the] end of the earth and to [the] end of the earth and you will serve there gods other which not you have known you and ancestors your wood and stone.
65 Och ibland de folk skall du intet visst hemman hafva, och din fotbjelle skola ingen hvilo få; ty Herren skall gifva dig der ett bäfvande hjerta, och vanmägtig ögon, och en förvissnada själ;
And among the nations those not you will rest and not it will belong a resting place to [the] sole of foot your and he will give Yahweh to you there a heart trembling and failing of eyes and despair of being.
66 Så att ditt lif skall vara hängandes för dig; dag och natt skall du rädas, och skall icke vara viss på ditt lif.
And they will be life your hung up for you from in front and you will be in dread night and by day and not you will trust in life your.
67 Om morgonen skall du säga: Ack! det jag måtte lefva till aftonen; och om aftonen skall du säga: Ack! det jag måtte lefva till morgonen, för dins hjertas stora räddhåga, som dig förskräcka skall, och för det som du med din ögon se skall.
In the morning you will say who? will he give evening and in the evening you will say who? will he give morning from [the] dread of heart your which you will dread and from [the] sight[s] of eyes your which you will see.
68 Och Herren skall föra dig skeppom full åter in uti Egypten på den vägen, om hvilken jag sade: Du skall icke mer se honom; och skolen varda sålde edrom fiendom till trälar och trälinnor, och der skall ingen vara, som köpa vill.
And he will make return you Yahweh - Egypt in ships by the way which I said to you not you will repeat again to see it and you will sell yourselves there to enemies your to [male] slaves and to female slaves and there not [will be] a buyer.
