5 Mosebok 23
1 Ingen förbråken eller snöpt skall komma in i Herrans församling.
A geldyng whanne hise stoonys ben brokun, ethir kit awey, and his yerde is kit awei, schal not entre in to the chirche of the Lord.
2 Skall ock ingen skökoson komma i Herrans församling, ja ock efter tionde led; utan skall platt intet komma i Herrans församling.
A child borun of hordom schal not entre in to the chirche of the Lord, `til to the tenthe generacioun.
3 De Ammoniter och Moabiter skola icke komma in i Herrans församling; ja ock efter tionde led; aldrig skola de komma in i Herrans församling;
Ammonytis and Moabitis, yhe aftir the tenthe generacioun, schulen not entre into the `chirche of the Lord with outen ende;
4 Derföre, att de icke ville möta dig med bröd och vatten på vägen, då I drogen utur Egypten; och dertill lejde emot eder Bileam, Beors son, den spåmannen utaf Mesopotamien, att han skulle förbanna dig.
for thei nolden come to you with breed and watir in the weie, whanne ye yeden out of Egipt; and for thei hireden ayens thee Balaam, the sone of Beor, fro Mesopotanye of Sirye, that he schulde curse thee;
5 Men Herren din Gud ville icke höra Bileam; och Herren din Gud förvände dig den förbannelsen uti välsignelse; derföre, att Herren din Gud hade dig kär.
and thi Lord God nolde here Balaam, and God turnede `the cursyng of Balaam in to thi blessyng, for he louyde thee.
6 Du skall dem hvarken godt eller äro bevisa i alla dina lifsdagar evinnerliga.
Thou schalt not make pees with hem, nethir thou schalt seke goodis to hem, in alle the daies of thi lijf in to with outen ende.
7 Edomeen skall du icke för styggelse hålla; ty han är din broder. Egyptien skall du ej heller hålla för styggelse; ty du hafver varit en främling i hans land.
Thou schalt not `haue abhomynacioun of a man of Ydumye, for he is thi brothir, nethir of a man of Egipt, for thou were a comelyng in the lond of hym.
8 De barn, som af dem födde varda i tredje led, de måga komma in uti Herrans församling.
Thei that ben borun of hem, schulen entre in the thridde generacioun in to the `chirche of the Lord.
9 När du utdrager utu lägret emot dina fiendar, så tag dig vara för allt ondt.
Whanne thou schalt go out `in to batel ayens thin enemyes, thou schalt kepe thee fro al yuel thing.
10 Är någor ibland dig, som icke är ren, att honom om natten något vederfaret är, han skall gå ut för lägret, och icke igen inkomma;
If a man is among you, which is defoulid in `sleep of nyyt, he schal go out of `the castels;
11 Förra än han mot aftonen tvår sig i vatten; och när solen nedergången är, skall han åter komma i lägret igen.
and he schal not turne ayen bifore that he be waischun in watir at euentid, and aftir the goyng doun of the sunne he schal go ayen in to the castels.
12 Utanför lägret skall du hafva en plats, der du ut uppå går till dina tarfver;
Thou schalt haue a place without the castels, to which thou schalt go out to nedeful thingis of kynde;
13 Och skall hafva en staka vid bältet, och när du dig derute sätta vill, skall du grafva dermed; och när du sutit hafver, skall du med mullene öfverskyla det af dig gånget är.
and thou schalt bere a litil stake in the girdil; and whanne thou hast sete, thou schalt digge `bi cumpas, and `thou schalt hile with erthe thingis `defied out,
14 Ty Herren din Gud vandrar i dino lägre, att han skall frälsa dig, och gifva dina fiendar för dig; derföre skall ditt lägre vara heligt, att ingen skam skall sedd vara ibland dig, och han vänder sig ifrå dig.
where thou art releuyd. For thi Lord God goeth in the myddis of castels, that he diliuere thee, and bitake thin enemyes to thee, that thi castels be hooli, and no thing of filthe appere in tho, lest he forsake thee.
15 Du skall icke igen antvarda husbondanom tjenaren, som ifrå honom flyr till dig.
Thou schalt not bitake a seruaunt to his lord, which seruaunt fleeth to thee;
16 Han skall blifva när dig på det rum, som honom täckes i någon af dina portar, sig till godo, och skall icke bedröfva honom.
he schal dwelle with thee in the place that plesith hym, and he schal reste in oon of thi citees; and make thou not hym sori.
17 Ingen sköka skall vara ibland Israels döttrar, och ingen bolare ibland Israels söner.
Noon hoore schal be of the douytris of Israel, nether a letchour of the sones of Israel.
18 Du skall icke bära skökolön eller hundapenningar uti Herrans dins Guds hus, af någrahanda löfte; ty både äro Herranom dinom Gud en styggelse.
Thou schalt not offre the hire of `an hoore hows, nether the prijs of a dogge, in the hows of thi Lord God, what euer thing it is that thou hast avowid; for euer eithir is abhomynacioun bifor thi Lord God.
19 Du skall icke ockra på dinom broder, antingen med penningar eller fetalia, eller med någon ting, der man med ockra kan.
Thou schalt not leene to thi brothir to vsure money, neither fruytis,
20 På dem främmande må du ockra, men icke på dinom broder; på det Herren din Gud skall välsigna dig i allt det du företager i landena, dit du kommer till att intaga det.

21 När du gör Herranom dinom Gud ett löfte, så skall du icke fördröja att hålla det; ty Herren din Gud varder det utkräfvandes af dig; och det blifver dig räknadt till synd.
Whanne thou makist auow to thi Lord God, thou schalt not tarie to yelde, for thi Lord God schal `requyre, ether axe, that; and if thou tariest, it schal be arretid to thee in to synne.
22 Om du intet löfte lofvar, så är det dig ingen synd.
If thou `nylt bihete, thou schalt be with out synne.
23 Hvad af dina läppar utgånget är, det skall du hålla, och göra derefter, såsom du Herranom dinom Gud med fri vilja lofvat hafver, det du med dinom mun talat hafver.
Forsothe thou schalt kepe, and `do that that yede out onys of thi lippis, as thou bihiytist to thi Lord God, and hast spoke with thin owne wille and thi mouth.
24 När du går i dins nästas vingård, så må du äta af vinbären så mycket dig täckes, tilldess du blifver mätt; men du skall intet taga med dig i dino kärile.
If thou entrist in to the vynere of thi neiybore, ete thou grapis, as myche as plesith thee; but bere thou not out with thee.
25 När du går i dins nästas säd, så må du afplocka ax; men med lian skall du icke gå dertill.
If thou entrist in to `the corn of thi freend, thou schalt breke `eeris of corn, and frote togidere with `the hond; but thou schalt not repe with a sikil.
