Amos 9

1 Jag såg Herran ståndandes på altaret, och han sade: Slå uppå knappen, sa att dörrträn bäfva; ty deras girighet skall komma dem allom uppå deras hufvud; och jag skall dräpa deras efterkommande med svärd, så att ingen undfly eller undslippa skall.

I siy the Lord stondynge on the auter, and he seide, Smyte thou the herre, and the ouer threshfoldis be mouyd togidere; for aueryce is in the heed of alle, and Y schal sle bi swerd the laste of hem; ther schal no fliyt be to hem, and he that schal fle of hem, schal not be sauyd.

2 Och om de An grofve sig neder i helvetet, så skall dock min hand hemta dem dädan; och om de än före upp i himmelen, skall jag dock stöta dem neder. (Sheol h7585)

3 Och om de än gömde sig ofvanuppå Carmels berg, så skall jag der uppsöka dem, och taga dem dädan; och om de än gömde sig för min ögon i hafsens djup, så skall jag dock befalla ormomen, att de skola der stinga dem.

4 Och om de än fångne gingo för sina fiendar, så vill jag dock befalla svärdena, att det skall der dräpa dem; ty jag vill hålla min ögon öfver dem till ondt, och icke till godt.

5 Ty Herren Herren Zebaoth är sådana; när han kommer vid ett land, då försmälter det, så att alle inbyggarena gråta skola, att det skall allt öfver dem löpa lika som en flod, och öfvertäcka dem lika som floden i Egypten gör.

And the Lord God of oostis schal do these thingis, that touchith erthe, and it schal faile, and alle men dwellynge ther ynne schulen mourene; and it schal stie vp as ech stronde, and it schal flete awei as flood of Egipt.

6 Han är den, som sin sal bygger i himmelen, och sina hyddo grundar på jordene; han kallar vattnet i hafvena, och gjuter det på jordena; Herre heter han.

He that bildith his stiyng vp in heuene, schal do these thingis, and foundide his birthun on erthe; which clepith watris of the see, and heldith out hem on the face of erthe; the Lord is name of hym.

7 Åren I, Israels barn, för mig icke lika som de Ethioper, säger Herren? Hafver jag icke fört Israel utur Egypten, och de Philisteer utu Caphthor, och de Syrer utu Kir?

Whether not as sones of Ethiopiens ye ben to me, the sones of Israel? seith the Lord God. Whether Y made not Israel for to stie vp fro the lond of Egipt, and Palestines fro Capodosie, and Siriens fro Cirenen?

8 Si, Herrans Herrans ögon se uppå ett syndigt rike, så att jag platt förgör det af jordene; ändock jag icke Jacobs hus platt förgöra vill, säger Herren.

Lo! the iyen of the Lord God ben on the rewme synnynge, and Y schal al to-breke it fro the face of erthe; netheles Y al to-brekynge schal not al to-breke the hous of Jacob, seith the Lord.

9 Dock likväl, si, jag vill befalla, och Israels hus sikta låta ibland alla Hedningar, lika som man siktar med ett såll; och kornen skola icke falla uppå jordena.

For lo! Y schal comaunde, and schal schake the hous of Israel in alle folkis, as wheete is in a riddil, and a litil stoon schal not falle on erthe.

10 Alle syndare i mitt folk skola dö genom svärd, de der säga: Den olyckan är intet så när, och hon vederfars oss intet.

11 På den tiden skall jag igen upprätta den förfallna Davids hyddo, och igentäppa hennes refvor, och igenbota hvad afbrutet är, och skall uppbygga henne, lika som hon i förtiden varit hafver;

13 Si, tiden kommer, säger Herren, att man skall tillika plöja och uppskära, och tillika pressa vin och så; och bergen skola drypa sött vin, och alla backar skola fruktsamme vara.

Lo! daies comen, seith the Lord, and the erere schal take the repere, and `the stampere of grape schal take the man sowynge seed; and mounteyns schulen droppe swetnesse, and alle smale hillis schulen be tilid.

14 Ty jag vill omvända mins folks Israels fängelse, att de skola uppbygga de öde städer, och besitta dem; plantera vingårdar, och dricka der vin af; göra trägårdar, och äta der frukt af.

And Y schal conuerte the caitifte of my puple Israel, and thei schulen bilde forsakun citees, and schulen dwelle; and schulen plaunte vyneyerdis, and thei schulen drynke wyn of hem; and schulen make gardyns, and schulen ete fruitis of hem.

15 Ty jag vill plantera dem uti sitt land, så att de icke mer skola varda utrotade utu sitt land, det jag dem gifvit hafver, säger Herren, din Gud.

And Y schal plaunte hem on her lond, and Y schal no more drawe out hem of her lond, which Y yaf to hem, seith the Lord thi God.
