2 Krönikeboken 8
1 Och efter tjugu år, i hvilkom Salomo Herrans hus, och sitt hus byggde;
And it was from [the] end of - twenty year[s] which he built Solomon [the] house of Yahweh and own house his.
2 Byggde han ock de städer, som Hyram gaf Salomo, och lät Israels barn bo deruti.
And the cities which he had given Huram to Solomon he rebuilt Solomon them and he caused to dwell there [the] people of Israel.
3 Och Salomo drog till HamathZoba, och gjorde det fast;
And he went Solomon to Hamath Zobah and he prevailed over it.
4 Och byggde Thadmor i öknene, och alla kornstäder, som han byggde i Hamath.
And he built Tadmor in the wilderness and all [the] cities of storage which he built in Hamath.
5 Han byggde ock öfra och nedra BethHoron, hvilka faste städer voro med murar, portar och bommar;
And he built Beth Horon upper and Beth Horon lower cities of fortification walls doors and bar[s].
6 Desslikes Baalath, och alla kornstäder som Salomo hade, och alla vagnsstäder, och resenärars städer, och allt det Salomo lyste att bygga, både i Jerusalem och på Libanon, och i allo hans väldes lande.
And Baalath and all [the] cities of storage which they belonged to Solomon and all [the] cities of chariotry and [the] cities of the horsemen and - all [the] desire of Solomon which he desired to build in Jerusalem and in Lebanon and in all [the] land of dominion his.
7 Allt det folk, som qvart blifvet var, af de Hetheer, Amoreer, Phereseer, Heveer och Jebuseer, som icke voro af Israels barn;
All the people which remained of the Hittite[s] and the Amorite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Hivite[s] and the Jebusite[s] which not [were] from Israel they.
8 Och deras barn, som de efter sig left hade i landena, hvilka Israels barn icke förlagt hade, gjorde Salomo skattpligtiga, allt intill denna dag.
Some of descendants their who they remained after them in the land whom not they had destroyed them [the] people of Israel and he brought up them Solomon to forced labor until the day this.
9 Men af Israels barn gjorde Salomo inga trälar, till sitt arbete; utan de voro krigsmän, och öfver hans riddare, och öfver hans vagnar och resenärar.
And of [the] people of Israel whom not he made Solomon into slaves for work his for they [were] men of war and [the] commanders of officers his and [the] commanders of chariotry his and horsemen his.
10 Och de öfverste Konung Salomos befallningsmän voro tuhundrad och femtio, som öfver folket rådde.
And these [were] [the] commanders of (the overseers *Q(K)*) who [belonged] to the king Solomon fifty and two hundred who ruled over the people.
11 Och Pharaos dotter lät Salomo hemta af Davids stad, uti det hus, som han för henne byggt hade; ty han sade: Min hustru skall icke bo uti Davids Israels Konungs huse; förty det är helgadt, efter Herrans ark der inkommen är.
And [the] daughter of Pharaoh he brought up Solomon from [the] city of David to the house which he had built for her for he said not she will dwell a wife of me in [the] house of David [the] king of Israel for [are] holiness they [places] where it has come to them [the] ark of Yahweh.
12 Sedan offrade Salomo Herranom bränneoffer på Herrans altare, som han byggt hade för förhuset;
Then he offered up Solomon burnt offerings to Yahweh on [the] altar of Yahweh which he had built before the porch.
13 Till att offra hvart på sin dag, efter Mose bud; på Sabbather, nymånader, och på bestämda tider, tre resor om året; nämliga på osyrade bröds högtidene, på veckohögtidene, och på löfhyddohögtidene.
And a matter of a day in a day to offer up according to [the] commandment of Moses for the sabbaths and for the new moons and for the appointed times three times in the year at [the] festival of the unleavened bread and at [the] festival of the weeks and at [the] festival of booths.
14 Och han satte Presterna i deras skifte till deras ämbete, såsom David hans fader det lagat hade; och Leviterna på deras vakt till att lofva och tjena för Presterna, hvar sin dag; och de dörravaktare i deras skifte, hvar vid sina dörr; ty så hade David den Guds mannen befallt.
And he appointed according to [the] ordinance of David father his [the] divisions of the priests on service their and the Levites on duties their to praise and to serve before the priests to [the] matter of a day in day its and the gatekeepers by divisions their for a gate and a gate for [was] thus [the] commandment of David [the] man of God.
15 Och man vek icke ifrå Konungens bud, om Presterna och Leviterna, i någrahanda ärende och håfvor.
And not they turned aside [the] command of the king on the priests and the Levites to any matter and to the treasuries.
16 Alltså vardt redo hvad Salomo för händer haft hade, ifrå den dag, då Herrans hus grundadt vardt, intilldess han fullkomnade det; så att Herrans hus allt redo vardt.
And it was arranged all [the] work of Solomon until the day of [the] foundation of [the] house of Yahweh and until was complete it [was] complete [the] house of Yahweh.
17 Så drog Salomo till EzionGeber, och till Eloth, vid hafsstrandena i Edoms land.
Then he went Solomon to Ezion Geber and to Elath on [the] shore of the sea in [the] land of Edom.
18 Och Hyram sände honom skepp med sina tjenare, som sjöfarne voro; och de foro med Salomos tjenare till Ophir, och hemtade dädan fyrahundrad och femtio centener guld, och förde till Konung Salomo.
And he sent to him Huram by [the] hand of servants his (ships *Q(k)*) and servants [who] knew [the] sea and they went with [the] servants of Solomon Ophir towards and they took from there four hundred and fifty talent[s] of gold and they brought [it] to the king Solomon.
