2 Krönikeboken 12
1 Då Rehabeams rike vardt stadfäst och förstärkt, öfvergaf han Herrans lag, och hele Israel med honom.
and to be like/as to establish: establish royalty Rehoboam and like/as strength his to leave: forsake [obj] instruction LORD and all Israel with him
2 Men i femte årena Konungs Rehabeams drog upp Sisak, Konungen i Egypten, emot Jerusalem; förty de hade syndat emot Herran;
and to be in/on/with year [the] fifth to/for king Rehoboam to ascend: rise Shishak king Egypt upon Jerusalem for be unfaithful in/on/with LORD
3 Med tusende och tuhundrad vagnar, och med sextiotusend resenärar, och det folk var icke till räknande, som med honom kom utur Egypten, Lybia, Suchim och Ethiopien.
in/on/with thousand and hundred chariot and in/on/with sixty thousand horseman and nothing number to/for people which to come (in): come with him from Egypt Libyan Sukkiim and Ethiopian
4 Och han vann de fasta städer, som i Juda voro, och kom intill Jerusalem.
and to capture [obj] city [the] fortress which to/for Judah and to come (in): come till Jerusalem
5 Så kom Semaja den Propheten till Rehabeam, och till de öfversta i Juda, som sig till Jerusalem församlat hade för Sisak, och sade till dem: Detta säger Herren: I hafven öfvergifvit mig, derföre hafver jag öfvergifvit eder i Sisaks hand.
and Shemaiah [the] prophet to come (in): come to(wards) Rehoboam and ruler Judah which to gather to(wards) Jerusalem from face: because Shishak and to say to/for them thus to say LORD you(m. p.) to leave: forsake [obj] me and also I to leave: forsake [obj] you in/on/with hand: power Shishak
6 Då ödmjukade sig de öfverste i Israel, med Konungenom, och sade: Herren är rättvis.
and be humble ruler Israel and [the] king and to say righteous LORD
7 Då Herren nu såg, att de ödmjukade sig, kom Herrans ord till Semaja, och sade: De hafva ödmjukat sig, derföre vill jag icke förderfva dem, utan jag vill gifva dem en liten undsättning, så att min vrede icke skall drypa på Jerusalem genom Sisak.

8 Dock skola de varda honom underdånige, att de måga lära hvad det är att tjena mig, och tjena Konungariken i landomen.
for to be to/for him to/for servant/slave and to know service my and service kingdom [the] land: country/planet
9 Alltså drog Sisak, Konungen i Egypten, upp till Jerusalem, och tog ut de håfvor i Herrans hus, och de håfvor i Konungshusena, och förde alltsammans bort. Desslikes tog han ock de gyldene sköldar, som Salomo göra lät;

10 I hvilkas stad Konung Rehabeam lät göra kopparsköldar, och befallde dem de öfversta för drabanterna, som vakt höllo för portenom af Konungshusena.

11 Och så ofta som Konungen gick uti Herrans hus, kommo drabanterna, och båro dem, och lade dem åter i drabantakammaren.

12 Och efter han ödmjukade sig, vände sig Herrans vrede ifrå honom, så att icke allt förderfvadt vardt; ty det var ännu något godt i Juda.

13 Alltså kom Konung Rehabeam sig före i Jerusalem, och regerade. Ett och fyratio år gammal var Rehabeam, då han vardt Konung, och regerade i sjutton år i Jerusalem, uti den stad som Herren utvalt hade utur all Israels slägter, att han der sitt Namn sätta skulle; hans moder het Naama, en Ammonitiska.
and to strengthen: strengthen [the] king Rehoboam in/on/with Jerusalem and to reign for son: aged forty and one year Rehoboam in/on/with to reign he and seven ten year to reign in/on/with Jerusalem [the] city which to choose LORD to/for to set: put [obj] name his there from all tribe Israel and name mother his Naamah [the] Ammon
14 Och han handlade illa, och skickade icke sitt hjerta till att söka Herran.
and to make: do [the] bad: evil for not to establish: establish heart his to/for to seek [obj] LORD
15 Men Rehabeams gerningar, både de första och de sista, äro beskrifna uti den Prophetens Semaja, och i Iddo den Siarens gerningar, och upptecknade. Och örligade Rehabeam och Jerobeam så länge de lefde.
and word: deed Rehoboam [the] first and [the] last not they(masc.) to write in/on/with word: deed Shemaiah [the] prophet and Iddo [the] seer to/for to enroll and battle Rehoboam and Jeroboam all [the] day: always
16 Och Rehabeam afsomnade med sina fäder, och vardt begrafven uti Davids stad; och hans son Abia vardt Konung i hans stad.
and to lie down: be dead Rehoboam with father his and to bury in/on/with city David and to reign Abijah son: child his underneath: instead him
