1 Samuelsboken 6
1 Så var Herrans ark i sju månader uti de Philisteers land.
And it was [the] ark of Yahweh in [the] region of [the] Philistines seven months.
2 Och de Philisteer kallade sina Prester och spåmän, och sade: Hvad skole vi göra med Herrans ark? Säger oss före, hvarmed vi skole sända honom till sitt rum.
And they summoned [the] Philistines the priests and the diviners saying what? will we do to [the] ark of Yahweh make known to us how? will we send it to own place its.
3 De sade: Viljen I sända Israels Guds ark, så sänder honom icke allstinges blottan, utan betaler honom ett skuldoffer; så varden I helbregda, och eder skall varda kunnigt, hvarföre hans hand icke återvänder af eder.
And they said if [you are] about to send away [the] ark of [the] God of Israel may not you send away it empty for certainly you will send back to him a guilt offering then you will be healed and it will be known by you why? not does it turn aside hand his from you.
4 Men de sade: Hvilket är det skuldoffret, det vi honom gifva skole? De svarade: Fem gyldene ardsar, och fem gyldene möss, efter de fem Philisteers Förstars tal; förty det hafver varit allt enahanda plåga öfver eder alla, och öfver edra Förstar.
And they said what? [is] the guilt offering which we will send back to him and they said [the] number of [the] rulers of [the] Philistines five (tumors of *Q(K)*) gold and five mice of gold for a plague one [belongs] to all of them and to rulers your.
5 Så må I nu göra liknelse efter edra ardsar, och efter edra möss, som edart land förderfvat hafva, så att I hedren Israels Gud; tilläfventyrs hans hand varder lättare öfver eder, och öfver edar gud, och öfver edart land.
And you will make images of (tumors your *Q(K)*) and images of mice your which are ruining the land and you will give to [the] God of Israel honor perhaps he will lighten hand his from with you and from on gods your and from on land your.
6 Hvi förhärden I edor hjerta, såsom de Egyptier och Pharao förhärde sin hjerta? Skedde det icke så, att då han beviste sig på dem, läto de fara dem, att de gingo sin väg?
And why? will you harden heart your just as they hardened Egypt and Pharaoh heart their ¿ not just when he dealt wantonly with them and they sent away them and they went.
7 Så tager nu till, och görer en ny vagn; och tager två unga däggande kor, på hvilka intet ok kommet är, och spänner dem för vagnen, och låter deras kalfvar blifva qvara hemma efter dem.
And therefore take and make a cart new one and two cows nursing which not it has gone up on them a yoke and you will harness the cows on the cart and you will take back young ones their from after them the house towards.
8 Och tager Herrans ark, och sätter honom på vagnen; och de gyldene klenodier, som I honom till skuldoffer gifven, lägger i ett skrin utmed hans sido, och sänder honom åstad, och låter gån.
And you will take [the] ark of Yahweh and you will put it into the cart and - [the] articles of gold which you have sent back to him a guilt offering you will put in the box from side its and you will send away it and it will go.
9 Och ser I till, går han upp den vägen åt sina gränsor emot BethSemes, så hafver han gjort oss allt detta stora onda; hvar ock icke, så måge vi veta, att hans hand icke hafver rört oss, utan det är oss eljest af en olycko påkommet.
And you will see if [the] way of own territory its it will go up Beth Shemesh he he has done to us the harm great this and if not and we will know that not hand his it touched us chance it it happened to us.
10 Folket gjorde ock så, och togo två unga däggande kor, och spände dem för en vagn, och behöllo deras kalfvar hemma;
And they did the men thus and they took two cows nursing and they harnessed them on the cart and young ones their they shut up in the house.
11 Och satte Herrans ark på vagnen, och det skrinet med de gyldene möss, och med deras ardsars liknelse.
And they put [the] ark of Yahweh into the cart and the box and [the] mice of gold and [the] images of tumors their.
12 Och korna gingo rättfram den vägen, som drog till BethSemes, på enom väg, och gingo och råmade, och veko hvarken på den högra sidona eller på den venstra; och de Philisteers Förstar gingo efter dem, allt intill BethSemes gränso.
And they were straight the cows in the road on [the] road of Beth Shemesh on a highway one they went continuously and lowed and not they turned aside right [hand] and left [hand] and [the] rulers of [the] Philistines [were] going after them to [the] border of Beth Shemesh.
13 Men de BethSemiter gingo och skåro i hveteandene i dalenom, och de hofvo sin ögon upp, och fingo se arken, och vordo glade att de fingo se honom.
And Beth Shemesh [were] harvesting [the] harvest of wheat in the valley and they lifted up eyes their and they saw the ark and they rejoiced to see [it].
14 Men vagnen kom uppå Josua den BethSemitens åker, och stadnade der. Och der var en stor sten; och de höggo sönder trät af vagnenom, och offrade de kor Herranom till bränneoffer.
And the cart it came to [the] field of Joshua [the] Beth Shemeshite and it stopped there and [was] there a stone large and they split [the] wood of the cart and the cows they offered up a burnt offering to Yahweh.
15 Och Leviterna lyfte Herrans ark neder, och det skrinet, som der bredovid låg, der de gyldene klenodier uti voro, och satte på den stora stenen. Och det folket i BethSemes offrade på den dagen Herranom bränneoffer och annor offer.
And the Levites they brought down - [the] ark of Yahweh and the box which [was] with it which [were] in it [the] articles of gold and they put [them] to the stone large and [the] people of Beth Shemesh they offered up burnt offerings and they sacrificed sacrifices on the day that to Yahweh.
16 När nu de fem Philisteers Förstar hade detta sett, foro de tillbaka igen på samma dagen till Ekron.
And five [the] rulers of [the] Philistines they saw and they went back Ekron on the day that.
17 Och detta äro de gyldene ardsar, som de Philisteer offrade Herranom till skuldoffer: Asdod en, Gasa en, Askelon en, Gath en, och Ekron en;
And these [are] [the] tumors of gold which they sent back [the] Philistines a guilt offering to Yahweh for Ashdod one for Gaza one for Ashkelon one for Gath one for Ekron one.
18 Och gyldene möss efter talet af alla de Philisteers städer, under de fem Förstar, både murade städer och byar; och intill det stora sorgerummet, der de läto Herrans ark uppå, intill denna dag, på Josua den BethSemitens åker.
And [the] mice of gold [the] number of all [the] cities of [the] Philistines of [the] five the rulers from a city of fortification and unto village[s] of the hamlet-dweller[s] and to - Abel the great which they set down on it [the] ark of Yahweh until the day this in [the] field of Joshua [the] Beth Shemeshite.
19 Och somlige af de BethSemiter vordo slagne, derföre att de hade sett Herrans ark; och han slog af folket femtiotusend och sjutio män. Då jämrade sig folket, att Herren hade med så stor plågo slagit folket.
And he struck down among [the] people of Beth Shemesh for they had looked in [the] ark of Yahweh and he struck down among the people seventy man fifty thousand man and they mourned the people for he had struck Yahweh the people a blow (great *LB(ah)*)
20 Och det folket i BethSemes sade: Ho kan blifva ståndandes för Herranom, en sådana helig Gud? Och till hvem skall han fara ifrån oss?
and they said [the] people of Beth Shemesh who? is he able to stand before Yahweh the God holy this and to whom? will it go up from with us.
21 Och de sände bådskap till de borgare af KiriathJearim, och läto säga dem: De Philisteer hafva fört igen Herrans ark; kommer hitneder, och hemter honom upp till eder.
And they sent messengers to [the] inhabitants of Kiriath Jearim saying they have brought back [the] Philistines [the] ark of Yahweh come down take up it to you.
