1 Samuelsboken 2
1 Och Hanna bad, och sade: Mitt hjerta fröjdar sig i Herranom; mitt horn är upphöjdt i Herranom; min mun hafver vidt öppnat sig öfver mina fiendar; ty jag fröjdar mig af dine salighet.
And she prayed Hannah and she said it rejoices heart my in Yahweh it is exalted horn my in Yahweh it has opened wide mouth my on enemies my for I rejoiced in deliverance your.
2 Ingen är helig såsom Herren. Utan dig är ingen; och ingen tröst är såsom vår Gud.
There not [is] a holy [one] like Yahweh for there not [is] except you and there not [is] a rock like God our.
3 Låter af att berömma eder och tala stor ord. Låter det gamla utur edar mun: ty Herren är en Gud, som vet det, och låter icke sådana anslag hafva framgång.
May not you multiply you will speak haughty haughty it goes out arrogance from mouth your for [is] a God of knowledge Yahweh (and by him *Q(K)*) they are measured deeds.
4 De starkas båge är sönderbruten, och de svage äro omgjordade med starkhet.
[the] bow of Warriors [are] shattered and [those who] stumble they gird on strength.
5 De som mätte voro, de vordo sålde för bröd; och de som hunger ledo, hungra intet mer; tilldess den ofruktsamma födde sju, och den som mång barn hade, vardt försvagad.
Satisfied [people] for food they hire themselves out and hungry [people] they cease to a barren [woman] she bears seven [children] and [a woman] many of sons she languishes.
Yahweh [is] killing and [is] restoring to life [he is] bringing down Sheol and he has brought up. (Sheol h7585)
7 Herren gör fattigan; han gör ock rikan han förnedrar och upphöjer.
Yahweh [is] making poor and [is] making rich [he is] bringing low also [is] exalting.
8 Han uppreser den torftiga utu stoftet, och upphäfver den fattiga utu träcken, att han skall sätta honom ibland Förstar, och låtan ärfva ärones stol; ty verldenes ändar äro Herrans, och jordenes krets hafver han satt deruppå.
[he is] raising up From [the] dust [the] poor from [the] ash heap he lifts up [the] needy to cause [them] to dwell with noble [people] and a throne of honor he makes inherit them for [belong] to Yahweh [the] pillars of [the] earth and he set on them [the] world.
9 Han varder bevarandes sina heligas fötter; men de ogudaktige skola vara tyste i mörkrena; ty ingen förmår något af sin egen kraft.
[the] feet of (Faithful [people] his *Q(K)*) he will protect and wicked [people] in the darkness they will be silenced for not by strength he will prevail anyone.
10 För Herranom skola förskräckas hans fiender; öfver dem skall han dundra i himmelen. Herren skall döma verldenes ändar, och skall gifva sinom Konung magt, och upphöja sins Smordas horn.
Yahweh they will be shattered ([those who] contend against him *Q(K)*) (on him *Q(k)*) in the heavens he will thunder Yahweh he will judge [the] ends of [the] earth so he may give strength to king his and he will exalt [the] horn of anointed his.
11 Och ElKana gick hem igen till Hamath uti sitt hus, och pilten var Herrans tjenare inför Presten Eli.
And he went Elkanah Ramah towards on house his and the lad he was serving Yahweh with [the] presence of Eli the priest.
12 Men Eli söner voro Belials barn, och visste intet af Herranom;
And [the] sons of Eli [were] sons of worthlessness not they knew Yahweh.
13 Ej heller hvad deras Prestaämbete var till folket. Då någor ville något offra, så kom Prestens dräng, medan köttet kokades, och hade en treuddad gaffel i sine hand:
And [the] custom of the priests with the people every person [who] was sacrificing a sacrifice and he came [the] servant of the priest when boiled the meat and the fork [the] three the prongs [was] in hand his.
14 Och stack i grytona eller kettilen, eller pannona, eller krukona, och hvad han drog ut med gaffelen, det tog Presten till sig. Så gjorde de allom Israel, som ditkommo till Silo.
And he thrust [it] in the pot or in the kettle or in the caldron or in the pot all that it brought up the fork he took the priest for himself thus they did to all Israel who came there at Shiloh.
15 Sammalunda, förra än de uppbrände det feta, kom Prestens dräng, och sade till honom, som offret frambar: Få mig kött, att jag må steka det åt Prestenom; ty han vill icke taga kokadt kött af dig, utan rått.
Also before they made smoke! the fat and he came - [the] servant of the priest and he said to the man who was sacrificing give! meat to roast to the priest and not he will accept from you meat boiled that except raw.
16 När då någor sade till honom: Låt upptända det feta såsom det bör sig i dag, och tag sedan hvad ditt hjerta begärar, så sade han till honom: Du skall nu gifva mig det, eljest skall jag taga det med våld.
And he said to him the man surely let them make smoke! as the day the fat and take for yourself just as it desires appetite your and he said - (no *Q(K)*) that now you will give [it] and if not I take [it] by force.
17 Derföre var piltarnas synd ganska stor för Herranom; förty folket förhädde Herrans spisoffer.
And it was [the] sin of the young men great very with [the] presence of Yahweh for they treated with contempt the men [the] offering of Yahweh.
18 Men Samuel var en tjenare för Herranom, en dräng i en linnen lifkjortel.
And Samuel [was] serving with [the] presence of Yahweh a lad girded an ephod of linen.
19 Dertill gjorde hans moder honom en liten kjortel, och förde den upp till honom i sinom tid, då hon uppgick med sin man, till att offra offer i sinom tid.
And a robe small she made for him mother his and she brought it up to him from days - days towards when went up she with husband her to sacrifice [the] sacrifice of the days.
20 Och Eli välsignade ElKana och hans hustru, och sade: Herren gifve dig säd utaf denna qvinnone för den bön, som du hafver bedit af Herranom. Och de gingo hem till sitt igen.
And he blessed Eli Elkanah and wife his and he said may he appoint Yahweh for you offspring from the woman this in place of the petition which someone asked to Yahweh and they went to place his.
21 Och Herren sökte Hanna, att hon blef hafvandes, och födde tre söner och två döttrar; men pilten Samuel växte till för Herranom.
For he visited Yahweh Hannah and she conceived and she bore three sons and two daughters and he grew up the lad Samuel with Yahweh.
22 Men Eli var ganska gammal, och han förnam hvad hans söner gjorde allom Israel; och att de sofvo när de qvinnor, som tjente inför dörrene af vittnesbördsens tabernakel.
And Eli he was old exceedingly and he heard all that they did! sons his to all Israel and [he heard] this: they were lying with! the women who were serving [the] opening of [the] tent of meeting.
23 Och han sade till dem: Hvi gören I sådant? Ty jag hörer edart onda väsende af allt detta folket.
And he said to them why? are you doing! according to the things these that I [am] hearing things your wicked from with all the people these.
24 Icke så, mina barn, det är icke godt rykte, som jag hörer; I kommen Herrans folk till att synda.
May not [it be] O sons my for [is] not good the report which I [am] hearing [which are] spreading [the] people of Yahweh.
25 Om någor syndar emot en mennisko, så kunna domarena förlika det; men om någor syndar emot Herran, ho kan förlikat? Och de hörde intet sins faders röst; ty Herren ville döda dem.
If he will sin a person to a person and he will mediate for him God and if to Yahweh he will sin a person who? will he intercede for him and not they listened to [the] voice of father their for he desired Yahweh to put to death them.
26 Men pilten Samuel växte till, och var både Herranom och menniskom täcker.
And the lad Samuel [was] going and [was] growing up and he was good both with Yahweh as well as with people.
27 Och en Guds man kom till Eli, och sade till honom: Så säger Herren: Jag hafver uppenbarat mig dins faders huse, då de ännu voro uti Egypten i Pharaos hus;
And he came a man of God to Eli and he said to him thus he says Yahweh ¿ really did I reveal myself to [the] house of ancestor your when were they in Egypt to [the] house of Pharaoh.
28 Och utvalde honom der mig, för all Israels slägter till Presterskap, att han skulle offra på mitt altare, och upptända rökverk, och bära lifkjortel för mig: och gaf dins faders huse all Israels barnas offer.
And I chose him from all [the] tribes of Israel for myself to a priest to go up on altar my to make smoke incense to bear an ephod before me and I gave! to [the] house of ancestor your all [the] fire offerings of [the] people of Israel.
29 Hvi spjernar du då emot mitt offer och spisoffer, som jag budit hafver i tabernaklet, och du ärar dina söner mer än mig, så att I göden eder utaf allt mitt folks Israels spisoffers förstling?
Why? do you kick at sacrifice my and at offering my which I commanded a dwelling place and you honor sons your more than me by fattening yourselves from [the] choicest of every offering of Israel of people my.
30 Derföre säger Herren Israels Gud: Jag hafver sagt, att ditt hus och dins faders hus skulle vandra för mig evinnerliga. Men nu säger Herren: Det vare långt ifrå mig; utan den mig ärar, honom vill jag ock ära: men den mig föraktar, han skall komma på skam.
Therefore [the] utterance of Yahweh [the] God of Israel certainly I said house your and [the] house of ancestor your they will walk about before me until perpetuity and now [the] utterance of Yahweh far be it to me for [those who] honor me I will honor and [those who] despise me they will be insignificant.
31 Si, den tid skall komma, att jag skall bryta din arm sönder, och dins faders hus arm, så att ingen gammal skall vara i dino huse.
Here! days [are] coming and I will cut off arm your and [the] arm of [the] house of ancestor your from being an old [man] in house your.
32 Och du skall se din motståndare uti tabernaklet i allo Israels godo; och ingen gammal skall vara i dins faders hus evinnerliga.
And you will look at [the] distress of a dwelling place in all that he will do good to Israel and not he will be an old [man] in house your all the days.
33 Dock vill jag icke utrota af dig allan man ifrå mitt altare, på det din ögon skola försmäkta, och din själ gräma sig; och hela hopen i dino huse skola dö, då de till manna komne äro.
And a man not I will cut off to you from with altar my to cause to fail eyes your and to cause to grieve self your and all [the] increase of house your they will die men.
34 Och detta skall vara dig ett tecken, som båda dina söner Hophni och Pinehas öfvergå skall: På en dag skola de både dö.
And this for you [will be] the sign which it will come to [the] two sons your to Hophni and Phinehas on a day one they will die both of them.
35 Och jag skall uppväcka mig en trogen Prest, och han skall göra såsom det i mino hjerta och mine själ är; honom skall jag bygga ett säkert hus, så att han skall vandra inför minom Smorda i alla dagar.
And I will raise up for myself a priest faithful according to [that] which [is] in heart my and in soul my he will act and I will build for him a house sure (and he will walk about *LAH(b)*) before anointed my all the days.
36 Och den qvar blifver af ditt hus, han skall komma och falla neder för honom, om en silfpenning och ett stycke bröd, och skall säga: Käre, låt mig komma till en Prestadel, att jag må äta en beta bröd.
And it will be every [one who] remains in house your he will come to bow down to him for a payment of silver and a round loaf of bread and he will say attach me please to one of the priesthoods to eat a piece of bread.
