1 Isaschars barn voro: Thola, Phua, Jasub och Simrom, de fyra.

And sons of Issachar: Tola, and Puah, Jashub, and Shimron—four.

2 Thola barn voro: Ussi, Rephaja, Jeriel, Jahmai, Jibsam och Samuel, hufvud uti deras fäders hus af Thola, och väldige män i deras ätter, vid det talet i Davids tid tu och tjugu tusend och sexhundrad.

And sons of Tola: Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Jibsam, and Shemuel, heads of the house of their fathers, [even] of Tola, mighty men of valor in their generations; their number in the days of David [is] twenty-two thousand and six hundred.

3 Ussi barn voro: Jisraja. Jisraja barn voro: Michael, Obadja, Joel och Jissija, de fem; och voro alle höfvitsmän.

And sons of Uzzi: Izrahiah; and sons of Izrahiah: Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, Ishiah, Hamishah—all of them heads.

4 Och med dem i deras ätter uti deras fäders hus voro väpnade härfolk till strid, sex och tretio tusend; ty de hade många hustrur och barn.

And beside them, by their generations, of the house of their fathers, [are] thirty-six thousand troops of the host of battle, for they multiplied wives and sons;

5 Och deras bröder i alla Isaschars ätter, väldige män, voro sju och åttatio tusend, och vordo alle räknade.

and their brothers of all the families of Issachar, mighty men of valor, listed by their genealogy, [are] eighty-seven thousand for the whole.

6 BenJamins barn voro: Bela, Becher och Jediael, de tre.

Of Benjamin: Bela, and Becher, and Jediael—three.

7 Bela barn voro: Ezbon, Ussi, Ussiel, Jeremoth och Iri, de fem, höfvitsmän i fädernas hus, väldige män, och vordo räknade tu och tjugu tusend, och fyra och tretio.

And sons of Bela: Ezbon, and Uzzi, and Uzziel, and Jerimoth, and Iri—five; heads of a house of fathers, mighty men of valor, with their genealogy, twenty-two thousand and thirty-four.

8 Bechers barn voro: Semira, Joas, Elieser, Eljoenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abia, Anathot och Alameth, de voro alle Bechers barn;

And sons of Becher: Zemirah, and Joash, and Eliezar, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Jerimoth, and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alameth. All these [are] sons of Becher,

9 Och vordo räknade i deras ätter efter höfvitsmännerna i deras fäders hus, väldige män, tjugutusend och tuhundrad.

with their genealogy, after their generations, heads of a house of their fathers, mighty men of valor, twenty thousand and two hundred.

10 Jediaels barn voro: Bilhan. Bilhans barn voro: Jeus, BenJamin, Ehud, Chenaana, Sethan, Tharsis och Ahisahar.

And sons of Jediael: Bilhan; and sons of Bilhan: Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahar.

11 De voro alle Jediaels barn, fädernas höfvitsmän, väldige män, sjuttontusend tuhundrad, som i här utdrogo till att strida.

All these [are] sons of Jediael, even heads of the fathers, mighty in valor, seventeen thousand and two hundred going out to the host for battle.

12 Och Suppim och Huppim voro Irs barn; men Husim voro Achers barn.

And Shuppim and Huppim [are] sons of Ir, [and] Hushim [is] the son of Aher.

13 Naphthali barn voro: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer och Sallum af Bilha barn.

Sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, sons of Bilhah.

14 Manasse barn äro desse: Esriel, hvilken hans frilla Aramia födde; men han födde Machir, Gileads fader.

Sons of Manasseh: Ashriel, whom Jaladah his Aramean concubine bore, with Machir father of Gilead.

15 Och Machir gaf Huppim och Suppim hustrur, och hans syster het Maacha; hans andre son het Zelaphehad; och Zelaphehad hade döttrar.

And Machir took wives for Huppim and for Shuppim, and the name of the first [is] Maachah, and the name of the second Zelophehad, and Zelophehad has daughters.

16 Och Maacha, Machirs hustru, födde en son, den kallade hon Peres: och hans broder het Seres; och hans söner voro: Ulam och Rakem.

And Maachah wife of Machir bears a son and calls his name Peresh, and the name of his brother [is] Sheresh, and his sons [are] Ulam and Rakem.

17 Men Ulams son var Bedan. Detta är Gileads barn, Machirs sons, Manasse sons.

And son of Ulam: Bedan. These [are] sons of Gilead son of Machir, son of Manasseh.

18 Och hans syster Molecheth födde Ishod, Abieser och Mahela.

And his sister Hammolecheth bore Ishhod, and Abiezer, and Mahalah.

19 Och Semida hade dessa barnen: Ahjan, Sechem, Likhi och Aniam.

And the sons of Shemida are Ahian, and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.

20 Ephraims barn voro desse: Suthelah. Hans son var Bered; hans son var Thahath; hans son var Elada; hans son var Thahath;

And sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah, and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eladah his son, and Tahath his son,

21 Hans son var Sabad; hans son var Suthelah, Eser och Elad. Och de män i Gath, infödde i landena, dråpo dem, derföre att de nederdragne voro till att taga bort deras boskap.

and Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer, and Elead; and men of Gath who are born in the land have slain them because they came down to take their livestock.

22 Och deras fader Ephraim sörjde i långan tid, och hans bröder kommo till att hugsvala honom.

And their father Ephraim mourns many days, and his brothers come to comfort him,

23 Och han besof sina hustru; hon vardt hafvandes, och födde en son, och han kallade hans namn Beria, derföre att illa tillgick i hans hus.

and he goes in to his wife, and she conceives and bears a son, and he calls his name Beriah, because his house had been in calamity—

24 Hans dotter var Seera. Hon byggde nedra och öfra BethHoron och UssenSeera.

and his daughter [is] Sherah, and she builds Beth-Horon, the lower and the upper, and Uzzen-Sherah—

25 Hans son var Repha; hans son var Reseph och Thelah; hans son var Thahan;

Rephah [is] his son, and Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son,

26 Hans son var Laedan; hans son var Ammihud; hans son var Elisama;

Laadan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son,

27 Hans son var Nun; hans son var Josua.

Nun his son, Joshua his son.

28 Och deras ägor och boning var BethEl och dess döttrar, och österut af Naaran, och vesterut ifrå Geser och dess döttrar; Sechem och dess döttrar, allt intill Assa och dess döttrar;

And their possession and their dwellings [are] Beth-El and its small towns, and Naaran to the east, and Gezer and its small towns to the west, and Shechem and its small towns, as far as Gaza and its small towns;

29 Och intill Manasse barn, BethSean och dess döttrar; Thaanach och dess döttrar; Megiddo och dess döttrar; Dor och dess döttrar. Deruti bodde Josephs barn, Israels sons.

and by the parts of the sons of Manasseh [are] Beth-Shean and its small towns, Taanach and its small towns, Megiddo and its small towns, Dor and its small towns; the sons of Joseph, son of Israel, dwelt in these.

30 Assers barn voro desse: Jimna, Jisva, Jisvi, Beria, och Serah deras syster.

Son of Asher: Imnah, and Ishve, and Ishvi, and Beriah, and their sister Serah.

31 Beria barn voro: Heber och Malchiel, det är Birsaviths fader.

And sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel—he [is] father of Birzavith.

32 Heber födde Japhlet, Somer, Hotham, och Suah deras syster.

And Heber begot Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and their sister Shua.

33 Japhlets barn voro: Pasach, Bimhal och Asvath; desse voro Japhlets barn.

And sons of Japhlet: Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath; these [are] sons of Japhlet.

34 Somers barn voro: Ahi, Rohgah, Jehubba och Aram.

And sons of Shamer: Ahi, and Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram.

35 Och hans broders Helems barn voro: Sopha, Jimna, Seles och Amal.

And [each] son of his brother Helem: Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh, and Amal.

36 Sopha barn voro: Suah, Harnepher, Sual, Beri, Jimra,

Sons of Zophah: Suah, and Harnepher, and Shual, and Beri, and Imrah,

37 Bszer, Hod, Samma, Silsa, Jithran och Beera.

Bezer, and Hod, and Shamma, and Shilshah, and Ithran, and Beera.

38 Jethers barn voro: Jephunne, Phispah och Ara.

And sons of Jether: Jephunneh, and Pispah, and Ara.

39 Ulla barn voro: Arah, Haniel och Rizia.

And sons of Ulla: Arah, and Hanniel, and Rezia.

40 Desse voro alle Assers barn, höfvitsmän, i deras fäders hus utvalde, väldige män, och hufvud öfver Förstar, och vordo räknade i här till strids vid deras tal, sex och tjugu tusend män.

All these [are] sons of Asher, heads of the house of the fathers, chosen ones, mighty in valor, heads of the princes, with their genealogy, for the host, for battle, their number [is] twenty-six thousand men.
