1 Krönikeboken 4
1 Juda barn voro: Perez, Hezron, Charmi, Hur och Sobal.
[the] sons of Judah Perez Hezron and Carmi and Hur and Shobal.
2 Men Reaja, Sobals son, födde Jahath. Jahath födde Ahumai och Lahad. Det äro de Zorgathiters slägter.
And Reaiah [the] son of Shobal he fathered Jahath and Jahath he fathered Ahumai and Lahad these [were] [the] clans of the Zorathite[s].
3 Detta är den fadrens Ethams slägte: Jisreel, Jisma, Jidbas; och deras syster het Hazelelponi.
And these [were] [the] father of Etam Jezreel and Ishma and Idbash and [the] name of sister their [was] Hazelelponi.
4 Och Pnuel, Gedors fader, och Eser, Husa fader. Det äro Hurs barn, den första Ephrata sons, BethLehems faders.
And Penuel [was] [the] father of Gedor and Ezer [was] [the] father of Hushah these [were] [the] descendants of Hur [the] firstborn of Ephrath [the] father of Beth-lehem.
5 Men Ashur, Thekoa fader, hade två hustrur: Helea och Naara.
And to Ashhur [the] father of Tekoa they belonged two wives Helah and Naarah.
6 Och Naara födde honom Ahusam, Hepher, Themeni, Ahastari. Det äro Naara barn.
And she bore to him Naarah Ahuzzam and Hepher and Temeni and Haahashtari these [were] [the] sons of Naarah.
7 Men Helea barn voro: Zereth, Jesohar och Ethnan.
And [the] sons of Helah Zereth (and Zohar *Q(K)*) and Ethnan.
8 Men Coz födde Anub, och Hazobeba, och de Aharhels slägter, Harums sons.
And Koz he fathered Anub and the Zobebah [clans] and [the] clans of Aharhel [the] son of Harum.
9 Men Jabez var härligare än hans bröder; och hans moder kallade honom Jabez; ty hon sade: Jag hafver födt honom med bekymmer.
And he was Jabez honored more than brothers his and mother his she had called name his Jabez saying for I gave birth in pain.
10 Och Jabez åkallade Israels Gud, och sade: Om du välsignar mig, och förvidgar mina gränsor, och din hand blifver med mig, och så skaffar med det onda, att det mig intet bekymrar. Och Gud lät ske som han bad.
And he called Jabez to [the] God of Israel saying if really you will bless me and you will increase territory my and it will be hand your with me and you will act from harm to not to hurt me and he brought God [that] which he had asked for.
11 Men Chelub, Suahs broder, födde Mehir, det är Esthons fader.
And Kelub [the] brother of Shuhah he fathered Mehir he [was] [the] father of Eshton.
12 Men Esthon födde Bethrapha, Paseah och Thehinna, fadren till den staden Nahas. Det äro de män af Recha.
And Eshton he fathered Beth-Rapha and Paseah and Tehinnah [the] father of Ir-nahash these [were] [the] men of Recah.
13 Kenas barn voro: Athniel och Seraja. Athniels barn voro: Hathath.
And [the] sons of Kenaz Othniel and Seraiah and [the] sons of Othniel Hathath. (And Meonothai. *X*)
14 Och Meonothai födde Ophra. Och Seraja födde Joab, en fader åt de timbermän i dalenom; ty de voro timbermän.
And Meonothai he fathered Ophrah and Seraiah he fathered Joab [the] father of Ge Harashim for craftsmen they were.
15 Calebs barn, Jephunne sons, voro: Iru, Ela och Naam. Ela barn voro: Kenas.
And [the] sons of Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh Iru Elah and Naam and [the] sons of Elah and Kenaz.
16 Jehaleleels barn voro: Siph, Sipha, Thiria och Asareel.
And [the] sons of Jehallelel Ziph and Ziphah Tiria and Asarel.
17 Esra barn voro: Jether, Mered, Epher och Jalon, och Thahar med MirJam, Sammai, Jisbah Esthemoa fader.
And [the] son of Ezrah Jether and Mered and Epher and Jalon and she conceived Miriam and Shammai and Ishbah [the] father of Eshtemoa.
18 Och hans hustru Judija födde Jered, Gedors fader, Heber, Socho fader, Jekuthiel, Sanoahs fader. Desse äro Bithias barn, Pharaos dotters, hvilka Mared tog.

19 Den hustrunes Hodijas barn, Nahams systers, Kegila faders, voro: Hagarmi, och Esthemoa den Maachathiten.
And [the] sons of [the] wife of Hodiah [the] sister of Naham [were] [the] father of Keilah Garmite and Eshtemoa the Maacathite.
20 Simeons barn voro: Amnon, Rinnah, och Benhanan, Thilon. Jisei barn voro: Soheth och Bensoheth.
And [the] sons of Shimon Amnon and Rinnah Ben-Hanan (and Tilon *Q(K)*) and [the] sons of Ishi Zoheth and Ben Zoheth.
21 Sela barn, Juda sons, voro: Er, Lecha fader, Laeda, Maresa fader, och de linväfvares slägter i Asbea hus;
[the] sons of Shelah [the] son of Judah Er [the] father of Lecah and Laadah [the] father of Mareshah and [the] clans of [the] House of [the] Work of Fine linen of [the] House of Ashbea.
22 Dertill Jokim, och de män af: Coseba, Joas, Saraph, hvilke husherrar voro i Moab, och bodde i Lahem; som de gamle säga.
And Jokim and [the] men of Kozeba and Joash and Saraph who they ruled to Moab and Jashubi Lehem and the words [are] ancient.
23 De voro pottomakare, och bodde ibland planteringar och gårdar, när Konungenom i hans arbete, och kommo och blefvo der.
They [were] the potters and [the] inhabitants of Netaim and Gederah with the king in service his they dwelt there.
24 Simeons barn voro: Nemuel, Jamin, Jarib, Serah, Saul.
[the] descendants of Simeon Nemuel and Jamin Jarib Zerah Shaul.
25 Hans son var Sallum. Hans son var Mibsam. Hans son var Misma.
Shallum son his Mibsam son his Mishma son his.
26 Misma barn voro: Hamuel. Hans son var Saccur. Hans son var Simei.
And [the] descendants of Mishma Hammuel son his Zaccur son his Shimei son his.
27 Simei hade sexton söner, och sex döttrar; och hans bröder hade icke mång barn; och all deras slägt förökade sig icke så mycket, som Juda barn.
And [belonged] to Shimei sons six-teen and daughters six and [belonged] to brothers his not sons many and all clan their not they increased up to [the] descendants of Judah.
28 Men de bodde i BerSeba, Molada, HazarSual,
And they dwelt in Beer Sheba and Moladah and Hazar Shual.
29 Bilha, Ezem, Tholad,
And in Bilhah and in Ezem and in Tolad.
30 Bethuel, Horma, Ziklag,
And in Bethuel and in Hormah and in Ziklag.
31 BethMarchaboth, HazarSusim, BethBirei, Saarim. Det voro deras städer, allt intill Konung David.
And in Beth Marcaboth and in Hazar Susim and in Beth Biri and in Shaaraim these [were] cities their until reigned David.
32 Dertill deras byar, Etham, Ain, Rimmon, Thochen, Asan, de fem städerna;
And villages their [were] Etam and Ain Rimmon and Tochen and Ashan cities five.
33 Och alle de byar, som voro omkring dessa städerna, allt intill Baal. Det är deras boning, och deras ätt ibland dem.
And all villages their which [were] around the cities these to Baal this [was] dwelling places their and recording genealogies they [belonged] to them.
34 Och Mesobab, Jamlech, Josa, Amazia son,
And Meshobab and Jamlech and Joshah [the] son of Amaziah.
35 Joel, Jehu Josibia son, Seraja sons, Asiels sons,
And Joel and Jehu [the] son of Joshibiah [the] son of Seraiah [the] son of Asiel.
36 Eljoenai, Jaacoba, Jesohaja, Asaja, Adiel, Jisimiel, och Benaja,
And Elioenai and Jaakobah and Jeshohaiah and Asaiah and Adiel and Jesimiel and Benaiah.
37 Sisa, Siphei son, Allons sons, Jedaja sons, Simri sons, Semaja sons.
And Ziza [the] son of Shipi [the] son of Allon [the] son of Jedaiah [the] son of Shimri [the] son of Shemaiah.
38 Desse voro namnkunnige Förstar uti deras ätter, och i deras fäders hus; och delade sig ut, efter det de voro månge.
These who came by names [were] leaders in clans their and [the] house of ancestors their they spread out to abundance.
39 Och de drogo bort till att fara till Gedor, intill öster på dalen, på det de skulle söka bet för deras får.
And they went to [the] entrance of Gedor to to [the] east of the valley to seek pasture for flock[s] their.
40 Och de funno feta och goda bet, och ett vidt land, stilla och rikt; ty i förtiden bodde der de af Ham.
And they found pasture fertile and good and the land [was] broad of both hands and at peace and at ease for [were] from Ham the inhabitants there before.
41 Och de som nu vid namn beskrifne äro, kommo i Hiskia tid, Juda Konungs, och slogo deras hyddor och boningar, som der funne vordo, och gjorde dem tillspillo, allt intill denna dag; och bodde i deras stad; ty der var bet för får.
And they came these who were written by names in [the] days of - Hezekiah [the] king of Judah and they struck down tents their and (the Meunites *Q(K)*) who they were found there and they totally destroyed them until the day this and they dwelt in place of them for pasture for flock[s] their [was] there.
42 Och gingo ut af dem af Simeons barnom, femhundrad män, intill Seirs berg, med deras öfverstar; Pelatia, Nearia, Rephaja, och Ussiel, Jisei barn;
And some of them - of [the] descendants of Simeon they went to [the] mountain of Seir men five hundred and Pelatiah and Neariah and Rephaiah and Uzziel [the] sons of Ishi [were] at head their.
43 Och slogo de återlefde af de Amalekiter, som undsluppne voro; och bodde der allt intill denna dag.
And they struck down [the] remnant of the escaped remnant of Amalek and they have dwelt there until the day this.
