Ufunuo 16
1 Kisha nikasikia sauti kubwa kutoka Hekaluni ikiwaambia wale malaika saba, “Nendeni mkamwage mabakuli hayo saba ya ghadhabu ya Mungu duniani.”
And I heard a loud voice from the sanctuary saying to the seven angels, “Go, pour out the bowls of God's fury on the earth.”
2 Basi, malaika wa kwanza akaenda akamwaga bakuli lake juu ya nchi. Mara madonda mabaya na ya kuumiza sana yakawapata wote waliokuwa na alama ya yule mnyama, na wale walioiabudu sanamu yake.
So off went the first one and poured out his bowl on the earth, and a foul and malignant ulcer appeared in the people who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.
3 Kisha malaika wa pili akamwaga bakuli lake baharini. Nayo bahari ikawa damu tupu kama damu ya mtu aliyekufa, na viumbe vyote hai baharini vikafa.
Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood, like a dead person's; so every living soul in the sea died.
4 Malaika wa tatu akamwaga bakuli lake katika mito na chemchemi za maji, navyo vikageuka damu.
Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and the springs of water, and they turned into blood.
5 Nikamsikia malaika msimamizi wa maji akisema, “Ewe mtakatifu, Uliyeko na uliyekuwako! Wewe ni mwenye haki katika hukumu hii uliyotoa.
And I heard the angel of the waters saying: “How just You are! The One who is and who was, the holy One, because You have judged these things.
6 Maana waliimwaga damu ya watu wako na ya manabii, nawe umewapa damu wainywe; wamestahili hivyo!”
Because they shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. They deserve it!”
7 Kisha nikasikia sauti madhabahuni ikisema, “Naam, Bwana Mungu Mwenye Uwezo! Hukumu zako ni za kweli na haki!”
And I heard one from the altar saying: “Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty! Your judgings are true and just!”
8 Kisha malaika wa nne akamwaga bakuli lake juu ya jua. Jua likapewa nguvu ya kuwachoma watu kwa moto wake.
Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was granted to him to burn the people with fire.
9 Basi, watu wakaunguzwa vibaya sana; wakamtukana Mungu aliye na uwezo juu ya mabaa hayo makubwa. Lakini hawakuziacha dhambi zao na kumtukuza Mungu.
So the people were burned with severe burns, and they blasphemed the name of God, who has authority over these plagues. And they did not repent to give Him glory.
10 Kisha malaika wa tano akamwaga bakuli lake juu ya makao makuu ya yule mnyama. Giza likauvamia utawala wake, watu wakauma ndimi zao kwa sababu za maumivu,
Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the Beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness; so they gnawed their tongues because of the pain.
11 wakamtukana Mungu wa mbinguni kwa sababu ya maumivu yao na madonda yao. Lakini hawakuyaacha matendo yao mabaya.
And they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains, and because of their ulcers; yet they did not repent of their deeds.
12 Kisha malaika wa sita akamwaga bakuli lake juu ya mto mkubwa uitwao Eufrate. Maji yake yakakauka, na hivyo njia ilitengenezwa kwa ajili ya wafalme wa mashariki.
Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way for the kings from the sun's rising might be prepared.
13 Kisha nikaona pepo wabaya watatu walio kama vyura, wakitoka kinywani mwa yule joka, kinywani mwa yule mnyama, na kinywani mwa yule nabii wa uongo.
And I saw three unclean spirits, like frogs, coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the Beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 Hawa ndio roho za pepo wafanyao miujiza. Ndio wanaokwenda kwa wafalme wa ulimwengu wote na kuwakusanya pamoja kwa ajili ya vita kuu Siku ile ya Mungu Mwenye Uwezo.
For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 “Sikiliza! Mimi naja kama mwizi! Heri mtu akeshaye na kuvaa nguo zake ili asije akaenda uchi huko na huko mbele ya watu.”
(“Watch out, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who watches and guards his clothes, so that he not walk about naked and they see his shame.”)
16 Basi, roho hao wakawakusanya hao wafalme mahali paitwapo kwa Kiebrania Harmagedoni.
So he gathered them to the place called in Hebrew, Armagedon.
17 Kisha malaika wa saba akamwaga bakuli lake hewani. Sauti kubwa ikasikika kutoka kwenye kiti cha enzi, Hekaluni, ikisema, “Mwisho umefika!”
Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a great voice came out of the sanctuary of heaven, from the Throne, saying, “It is done!”
18 Kukatokea umeme, kelele, ngurumo na tetemeko kubwa la ardhi ambalo halijapata kutokea tangu Mungu alipomuumba mtu.
and there were lightnings and thunders and noises. And there was a tremendous earthquake, a terribly severe earthquake such as had not occurred since mankind existed on the earth.
19 Mji ule mkuu ukapasuliwa sehemu tatu, nayo miji ya mataifa ikateketea. Babuloni, mji mkuu, haukusahauliwa na Mungu. Aliunywesha kikombe cha divai ya ghadhabu yake kuu.
So the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fury of His wrath.
20 Visiwa vyote vikatoweka, nayo milima haikuonekena tena.
And every island fled, and mountains were not found.
21 Mvua ya mawe makubwa yenye uzito wa kama kilo hamsini kila moja, ikawanyeshea watu. Nao wakamtukana Mungu kwa sababu ya mapigo ya mvua hiyo ya mawe. Naam, pigo la mvua hiyo ya mawe lilikuwa kubwa mno.
And huge hailstones, weighing about a talent, fell out of the sky on the people; and the people blasphemed God on account of the plague of the hail, because its plague was exceedingly severe.
