Marko 3
1 Yesu aliingia tena katika sunagogi na mle ndani mlikuwa na mtu aliyekuwa na mkono uliopooza.
And He entered again into the synagogue, and there was there a man having the hand withered,
2 Humo baadhi ya watu walimngojea amponye mtu huyo siku ya sabato ili wapate kumshtaki.
and they were watching Him, whether on the Sabbaths He will heal him, that they might accuse Him.
3 Yesu akamwambia huyo mtu aliyekuwa na mkono uliopooza, “Njoo hapa katikati.”
And He says to the man having the hand withered, “Rise up in the midst.”
4 Kisha, akawauliza, “Je, ni halali siku ya Sabato kutenda jambo jema au kutenda jambo baya; kuokoa maisha au kuua?” Lakini wao hawakusema neno.
And He says to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbaths to do good, or to do evil? To save life, or to kill?” But they were silent.
5 Hapo akawatazama wote kwa hasira, akaona huzuni kwa sababu ya ugumu wa mioyo yao. Kisha akamwambia huyo mtu, “Nyosha mkono wako!” Naye akaunyosha mkono wake, ukawa mzima tena.
And having looked around on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their heart, He says to the man, “Stretch forth your hand”; and he stretched forth, and his hand was restored whole as the other;
6 Mara Mafarisayo wakatoka nje, wakafanya shauri pamoja na watu wa kikundi cha Herode jinsi ya kumwangamiza Yesu.
and the Pharisees having gone forth, immediately, with the Herodians, were taking counsel against Him how they might destroy Him.
7 Yesu aliondoka hapo pamoja na wanafunzi wake, akaenda kando ya ziwa, na umati wa watu ukamfuata. Watu hao walikuwa wametoka Yerusalemu, Yudea,
And Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea, and a great multitude from Galilee followed Him, and from Judea,
8 Idumea, ng'ambo ya mto Yordani, Tiro na Sidoni. Watu hao wengi walimwendea Yesu kwa sababu ya kusikia mambo mengi aliyokuwa ameyatenda.
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and beyond the Jordan; and they around Tyre and Sidon—a great multitude—having heard how He was doing great things, came to Him.
9 Yesu akawaambia wanafunzi wake wamtayarishie mashua moja, ili umati wa watu usije ukamsonga.
And He said to His disciples that a little boat may wait on Him, because of the multitude, that they may not press on Him,
10 Alikuwa amewaponya watu wengi, na wagonjwa wote wakawa wanamsonga ili wapate kumgusa.
for He healed many, so that they threw themselves on Him, in order to touch Him—as many as had plagues;
11 Na watu waliokuwa wamepagawa na pepo wachafu walipomwona, walijitupa chini mbele yake na kupaaza sauti, “Wewe ni Mwana wa Mungu!”
and the unclean spirits, when they were seeing Him, were falling down before Him, and were crying, saying, “You are the Son of God”;
12 Lakini Yesu akawaamuru kwa ukali wasimjulishe kwa watu.
and many times He was charging them that they might not make Him apparent.
13 Yesu alipanda kilimani, akawaita wale aliowataka. Basi, wakamwendea,
And He goes up to the mountain, and calls near whom He willed, and they went away to Him;
14 naye akawateua watu kumi na wawili ambao aliwaita mitume, wakae naye, awatume kuhubiri
and He appointed twelve, that they may be with Him, and that He may send them forth to preach,
15 na wawe na mamlaka ya kuwafukuza pepo.
and to have power to heal the sicknesses, and to cast out the demons.
16 Basi, hao kumi na wawili walioteuliwa ndio hawa: Simoni (ambaye Yesu alimpa jina, Petro),
And He put on Simon the name Peter;
17 Yakobo na Yohane, wana wa Zebedayo (Yesu aliwapa hawa ndugu wawili jina Boanerge, maana yake “wanangurumo”),
and James of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, and He put on them names—Boanerges, that is, “Sons of thunder”;
18 Andrea na Filipo, Batholomayo, Mathayo, Thoma, Yakobo mwana wa Alfayo, Thadayo, Simoni Mkanani na
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Zealot,
19 Yuda Iskarioti ambaye alimsaliti Yesu.
and Judas Iscariot, who also delivered Him up; and they come into a house.
20 Kisha Yesu alikwenda nyumbani. Umati wa watu ukakusanyika tena, hata Yesu na wafuasi wake wasiweze kupata nafasi ya kula chakula.
And a multitude comes together again, so that they are not even able to eat bread;
21 Basi, watu wa jamaa yake walipopata habari hiyo wakatoka kwenda kumchukua maana walikuwa wanasema kwamba amepatwa na wazimu.
and those alongside Him having heard, went forth to lay hold on Him, for they said that He was beside Himself,
22 Nao walimu wa Sheria waliokuwa wametoka Yerusalemu, wakasema, “Ana Beelzebuli! Tena, anawafukuza pepo kwa nguvu ya mkuu wa pepo.”
and the scribes who [are] from Jerusalem having come down, said, “He has Beelzebul,” and, “By the ruler of the demons He casts out the demons.”
23 Hapo Yesu akawaita, akawaambia kwa mifano, “Shetani anawezaje kumfukuza Shetani?
And having called them near, He said to them in allegories, “How is Satan able to cast out Satan?
24 Ikiwa utawala mmoja umegawanyika makundimakundi yanayopigana, utawala huo hauwezi kudumu.
And if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot be made to stand;
25 Tena, ikiwa jamaa moja imegawanyika makundimakundi yanayopingana, jamaa hiyo itaangamia.
and if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot be made to stand;
26 Ikiwa basi, utawala wa Shetani umegawanyika vikundivikundi hauwezi kudumu, bali utaangamia kabisa.
and if Satan rose against himself, and has been divided, he cannot be made to stand, but has an end.
27 “Hakuna mtu awezaye kuivamia nyumba ya mtu mwenye nguvu na kumnyang'anya mali yake, isipokuwa kwanza amemfunga huyo mtu mwenye nguvu; hapo ndipo atakapoweza kumnyang'anya mali yake.
No one is able to spoil the vessels of the strong man, having entered into his house, if first he may not bind the strong man, and then he will spoil his house.
28 “Kweli nawaambieni, watu watasamehewa dhambi zao zote na kufuru zao zote;
Truly I say to you that all sins will be forgiven to the sons of men, and slanders with which they might have slandered,
30 (Yesu alisema hivyo kwa sababu walikuwa wanasema, “Ana pepo mchafu.”)
because they said, He has an unclean spirit.”
31 Mama yake Yesu na ndugu zake walifika hapo, wakasimama nje, wakampelekea ujumbe kutaka kumwona.
Then His brothers and mother come, and standing outside, they sent to Him, calling Him,
32 Umati wa watu ulikuwa umekaa hapo kumzunguka. Basi, wakamwambia, “Mama yako na ndugu zako wako nje, wanataka kukuona.”
and a multitude was sitting around Him, and they said to Him, “Behold, Your mother and Your brothers seek You outside.”
33 Yesu akawaambia, “Mama yangu na ndugu zangu ni kina nani?”
And He answered them, saying, “Who is My mother, or My brothers?”
34 Hapo akawatazama watu waliokuwa wamemzunguka, akasema, “Tazameni! Hawa ndio mama yangu na ndugu zangu.
And having looked around in a circle to those sitting around Him, He says, “Behold, My mother and My brothers!
35 Mtu yeyote anayefanya anayotaka Mungu, huyo ndiye kaka yangu, dada yangu na mama yangu.”
For whoever may do the will of God, he is My brother, and My sister, and mother.”
