1 Oh, mwimbieni Yahwe wimbo mpya, kwa kuwa ametenda mambo ya ajabu; mkono wake wa kuume na mkono wake mtakatifu vimempa ushindi.

Sing to Adonai a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand, and his holy arm, have worked salvation for him.

2 Yahwe ameufanya wokovu wake ujulikane; ameidhihirisha haki yake kwa mataifa yote.

Adonai has made known his yishu'ah ·salvation·. He has openly shown his righteousness in the sight of the nations.

3 Hukumbuka uaminifu wa agano lake na uaminifu kwa ajili ya nyumba ya Israeli; miisho yote ya dunia itauona ushindi wa Mungu wetu.

He has remembered his cheshed ·loving-kindness· and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel [God prevails]. All the ends of the earth have seen the yishu'ah ·salvation· of our God.

4 Mshangilieni Yahwe, nchi yote; pazeni sauti kwa wimbo, imbeni kwa furaha, na imbeni sifa.

Make a joyful noise to Adonai, all the earth! Burst out and sing for joy, yes, sing zahmar ·musical praise·!

5 Mwimbieni Yahwe sifa kwa kinubi, kwa kinubi na wimbo wenye muiki wa kupendeza.

Sing zahmar ·musical praise· to Adonai with the harp, with the harp and the voice of melody.

6 Kwa panda na sauti ya baragumu, fanyeni kelele za shangwe mbele ya Mfalme, Yahwe.

With trumpets and sound of the shofar ·ram horn·, make a joyful noise before the King, Adonai.

7 Bahari na ipige kelele na vyote vilivyomo, ulimwengu na wale wakaao ndani yake!

Let the sea roar with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein.

8 Mito na ipige makofi, na milima ipige kelele kwa furaha.

Let the rivers clap their hands. Let the mountains sing for joy together.

9 Yahwe anakuja kuihukumu nchi; naye ataihukumu dunia kwa haki na mataifa kwa adili.

Let them sing before Adonai, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.
