1 Uniokoe, Mungu! Yahwe, njoo haraka na unisaidie mimi.

Unto the end. A Psalm of David, in remembrance that the Lord had saved him. O God, reach out to help me. O Lord, hasten to assist me.

2 Wale wajaribuo kuchukua uhai wangu waaibishwe na kufedheheshwa; warudishwe nyuma na wasiheshimiwe, wale wafurahiao katika maumivu yangu.

May those who seek my soul be confounded and awed.

3 Warudishwe nyuma kwa sababu ya aibu yao, wale wasemao, “Aha, aha.”

May those who wish evils upon me be turned back and blush with shame. May they be turned away immediately, blushing with shame, who say to me: “Well, well.”

4 Wale wakutafutao wafurahi na kushangilia katika wewe; wale waupendao wokovu wako siku zote waseme, “Mungu asifiwe.”

Let all who seek you exult and rejoice in you, and let those who love your salvation forever say: “The Lord be magnified.”

5 Lakini mimi ni maskini na muhitaji; harakisha kwangu, Mungu; wewe ni msaada wangu nawe huniokoa mimi. Yahwe, usichelewe.

I am truly destitute and poor. O God, assist me. You are my helper and my deliverer. O Lord, do not delay.
