1 Mungu atuhurumie sisi na kutubariki na kufanya nuru ya uso wake ituangazie (Selah)

God, be merciful to us and bless us; be kind to us [IDM],

2 ili kwamba njia zako zijulikane nchi yote, wokovu wako kati ya mataifa yote.

in order that [everyone in] the world may know what you want them to do, and [the people of] all nations may know that you [have the power to] save [them].

3 Watu wakusifu wewe, Mungu; watu wote wakusifu wewe.

God, I desire that [all] people-groups [will] praise you; I want them all to praise you!

4 Oh, mataifa wafurahi na na kuimba kwa furaha, maana utawahukumu watu kwa haki na kuwaongoza mataifa walioko duniani.

I desire that [the people of all] nations will be glad and sing joyfully, because you judge the people-groups equally/justly, and you guide [all] nations in the world.

5 Watu wakushukuru wewe, Mungu; watu wote wakusifu wewe.

God, I desire that the people-groups [will] praise you; I want them all to praise you!

6 Nchi imetoa mavuno yake na Mungu, Mungu wetu, ametubariki.

Good crops have grown on our land; God, our God, has blessed us.

7 Mungu ametubariki sisi, na miisho yote ya dunia itamuheshimu yeye.

[And because] God has blessed us, I desire that all [people] everywhere [MTY] on the earth will revere him.
