1 Je, ninyi watawala mnaongea haki? Mnahukumu kwa haki, ninyi watu?

2 Hapana, mnafanya uovu mioyoni mwenu; munaeneza vurugu nchi yote kwa mikono yenu.
For in herte ye worchen wickidnesse in erthe; youre hondis maken redi vnriytfulnessis.
3 Waovu huenenda katika upotovu hata walipokuwa tumboni; wao wanaenenda katika upotovu tangu kuzaliwa, wakiongea uongo.
Synneris weren maad aliens fro the wombe; thei erriden fro the wombe, thei spaken false thingis.
4 Sumu yao ni kama sumu ya nyoka; wako kama fira kiziwi azibaye masikio yake,

5 ambaye hasikilizi sauti ya waganga, haijalishi ustadi walio nao.

8 Wawe kama konokono ambaye huyeyuka na kutoweka, kama mtoto aliye zaliwa kabla ya wakati ambaye hakuona jua.
As wexe that fletith awei, thei schulen be takun awei; fier felle aboue, and thei siyen not the sunne.
9 Kabla ya vyungu vyenu kupata joto la kuungua kwa miiba, yeye ataviondosha kwa upepo mkali, miiba ya kijani yote na ile inayoungua.
Bifore that youre thornes vndurstoden the ramne; he swolewith hem so in ire, as lyuynge men.
10 Mwenye haki atafurahia atakapoona kisasi cha Mungu; ataiosha miguu yake kwenye damu ya waovu,
The iust man schal be glad, whanne he schal se veniaunce; he schal waische hise hondis in the blood of a synner.
11 hivyo watu watasema, “Hakika kuna tuzo kwa ajili ya mtu wenye haki; hakika kuna Mungu ahukumuye ulimwengu.”
And a man schal seie treuli, For fruyt is to a iust man; treuli God is demynge hem in erthe.
