1 Dhambi hunena kama unabii katika moyo wa mwovu; machoni mwake hamna hofu ya Mungu.
`To victorie, to Dauid, `the seruaunt of the Lord. The vniust man seide, that he trespasse in hym silf; the drede of God is not bifor hise iyen.
2 Kwa maana yeye hujifariji mwenyewe, akifikiria kuwa dhambi zake hazitagundulika na kuchukiwa.
For he dide gilefuli in the siyt of God; that his wickidnesse be foundun to hatrede.
3 Maneno yake ni yenye dhambi na udanganyifu; hataki kuwa mwenye hekima na kutenda mema.
The wordis of his mouth ben wickidnesse and gile, he nolde vndirstonde to do wel.
4 Alalapo kitandani, hupanga namna ya kutenda dhambi; yeye hukaa nje kwenye nja ya uovu; yeye hakatai uovu.
He thouyte wickidnesse in his bed, he stood nyy al weie not good; forsothe he hatide not malice.
5 Uaminifu wa agano lako, Yahwe, unafika mbinguni; uaminifu wako unafika mawinguni.
Lord, thi merci is in heuene; and thi treuthe is `til to cloudis.
6 Haki yako ni kama milima ya Mungu; hukumu yako ni kama kina kirefu. Yahwe, wewe huwahifadhi wote wanadamu na wanyama.
Thi riytfulnesse is as the hillis of God; thi domes ben myche depthe of watris. Lord, thou schalt saue men and beestis;
7 Ni jinsi gani uaminifu wa aganao lako ni wa thamani, Mungu! Watu hukimbilia usalama chini ya uvuli wa mbawa zako.
as thou, God, hast multiplied thi merci. But the sones of men; schulen hope in the hilyng of thi wyngis.
8 Nao watatoshelezwa tele na utajiri wa chakula nyumbani mwako; utawafanya wanywe kutoka katika mto wa baraka zako za thamani.
Thei schulen be fillid gretli of the plentee of thin hows; and thou schalt yyue drynke to hem with the steef streem of thi likyng.
9 Kwa kuwa mna chemichemi ya uzima; na katika mwanga wako tutaiona nuru.
For the wel of life is at thee; and in thi liyt we schulen se liyt.
10 Uupanue uaminifu wa agano lako kikamilifu kwa wale wanao kujua wewe, ulinzi wako uwe juu ya wanyoofu wa moyo.
Lord, sette forth thi mercy to hem, that knowen thee; and thi ryytfulnesse to hem that ben of riytful herte.
11 Usiuache mguu wa mwenye kiburi unisogelee. Usiiache mkono wa mwovu unitoweshe.
The foot of pryde come not to me; and the hond of the synnere moue me not.
12 Kule wafanyao maovu wameanguka; wameharibiwa hawawezi kuinuka.
There thei felden doun, that worchen wickidnesse; thei ben cast out, and myyten not stonde.
