Zaburi 15

1 Zaburi ya Daudi. Yahwe, ni nani atabaki hemani mwako? Ni nani atakaye ishi kwenye mlima wako mtakatifu?

“A psalm of David.” Lord, who may sojourn in thy tent? who may dwell on thy holy mount?

2 Yeyote anaye tembea bila lawama, yeye hufanya kilicho haki na huongea ukweli kutoka moyoni mwake.

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart;

3 Yeye huwa hakashfu kwa ulimi wake, hawadhuru wengine, na hamtusi jirani yake.

That uttereth no calumny with his tongue, that doth no evil to his neighbor, and bringeth no reproach on his fellow-man;

4 Mtu asiye na maana hudharauliwa machoni pake, bali yeye huwaheshimu wale wanao mhofu Yahwe. Yeye huapa kwa hasara yake mwenyewe na habadilishi ahadi yake.

In whose eyes the despicable is despised; but that honoreth those who fear the Lord; that sweareth to his own injury, and changeth not;

5 Yeye habadilishi nia yake aazimapo fedha. Yeye hachukui rushwa ili kumshuhudia kinyume asiye na hatia. Yeye afanyanyaye mbambo haya hatatikisika kamwe.

That putteth not out his money for interest, and taketh no bribe against the innocent. He that doth these things shall not be moved to eternity.
