1 Nitamsifu Yahwe maisha yangu yote, na vyote vilivyomo ndani yangu, nitalisifu jina lake takatifu.
[A Psalm] of David. Bless Jehovah, O my soul; And all that is within me, [bless] his holy name.
2 Maishani mwangu mwote nitamsifu Yahwe, na kukumbuka matendo yake yote mazuri.
Bless Jehovah, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits:
3 Yeye husamehe dhambi zako zote; huponya magonjwa yako yote.
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Huukomboa uhai wako dhidi ya uharubifu; hukuvika taji kwa uaminifu wa agano lake na hutenda kwa rehema.
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Huyatosheleza maisha yako kwa mambo mema ili kwamba ujana wako ufanywe upya kama tai.
Who satisfieth thy desire with good things, [So that] thy youth is renewed like the eagle.
6 Yahwe hutenda yaliyo haki naye hutenda hukumu ya haki kwa ajili ya wote walio onewa.
Jehovah executeth righteous acts, And judgments for all that are oppressed.
7 Alimjulisha Musa njia zake, matendo yake kwa uzao wa Israeli.
He made known his ways unto Moses, His doings unto the children of Israel.
8 Yahwe ni wa huruma na neema; ni mvumilivu; ana agano kuu la uaminifu.
Jehovah is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness.
9 Hataadhibu siku zote; hakasiriki siku zote.
He will not always chide; Neither will he keep [his anger] for ever.
10 Hatushughulikii sisi kama dhambi zetu zinavyostahili au kutulipa kulingana na uhitaji wa dhambi zetu.
He hath not dealt with us after our sins, Nor rewarded us after our iniquities.
11 Kama mbingu zilivyo juu zaidi ya nchi, ndivyo ulivyo ukuu wa uaminifu wa agano lake kwao wale wanaomcha yeye.
For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is his lovingkindness toward them that fear him.
12 Kama vile mashariki ilivyo mbali na magharibi, hivi ndivyo ameondoa hatia zetu za dhambi zetu mbali nasi.
As far as the east is from the west, So far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13 Kama vile baba alivyo na huruma kwa watoto wake, ndivyo Yahwe alivyo na huruma kwao wamchao.
Like as a father pitieth his children, So Jehovah pitieth them that fear him.
14 Maana anajua tulivyo umbwa; anajua kuwa tu mavumbi.
For he knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust.
15 Kama ilivyo kwa mwanadamu, siku zake ni kama majani; hustawi kama ua katika shamba.
As for man, his days are as grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16 Upepo hulipiga, nalo hutoweka, na hakuna hata mmoja awezaye kuelezea mahali lilipokua.
For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; And the place thereof shall know it no more.
17 Lakini agano la uaminifu wa Yahwe uko kwa wale wamchao yeye milele hata milele. Haki yake ni endelevu kwa uzao wao.
But the lovingkindness of Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, And his righteousness unto children’s children;
18 Wanashika agano lake na kukumbuka kutii maagizo yake.
To such as keep his covenant, And to those that remember his precepts to do them.
19 Yahwe ameweka kiti chake cha enzi mbinguni, na ufalme wake watawala juu ya kila mtu.
Jehovah hath established his throne in the heavens; And his kingdom ruleth over all.
20 Msifuni Yahwe, enyi malaika zake, ninyi hodari wenye nguvu na mtendao neno lake, na kutii sauti ya neno lake.
Bless Jehovah, ye his angels, That are mighty in strength, that fulfil his word, Hearkening unto the voice of his word.
21 Msifuni Yahwe, enyi jeshi la malaika wote, ninyi ni watumishi mfanyao mapenzi yake.
Bless Jehovah, all ye his hosts, Ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
22 Msifuni Yahwe, viumbe wake wote, mahali popote atawalapo. Nitamsifu Yahwe maisha yangu yote.
Bless Jehovah, all ye his works, In all places of his dominion: Bless Jehovah, O my soul.
