Hesabu 27
1 Kisah wakaja kwa Musa binti wa Zelofehadi mwana wa Hefa mwana wa Gilied mwana wa Machiri mwana wa Manase, wa ukoo wa Manase mwana wa Yusufu. Hawa ndio waliokuwa binti zake: Mahala, Noha, Hogla, Milika, na Tiriza.
And they drew near [the] daughters of Zelophehad [the] son of Hepher [the] son of Gilead [the] son of Makir [the] son of Manasseh of [the] clans of Manasseh [the] son of Joseph and these [were] [the] names of daughters his Mahlah Noah and Hoglah and Milcah and Tirzah.
2 Walisimama mbele ya Musa, Eliazari kuhani, kwa. viongozi, na mbele ya watu wote langoni mwa hema ya kukutania. Walisema,
And they took their stand before Moses and before Eleazar the priest and before the leaders and all the congregation [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting saying.
3 “Baba yetu alifia jangwani. Hakuwa mmoja wa wale waliompinga BWANA katika lile kundi la Kora. Alikufa kwa dhambi zake, na hakuwa na watoto wa kiume.
Father our he died in the wilderness and he not he was in among the company which gathered on Yahweh in [the] company of Korah for in own sin his he died and sons not they belonged to him.
4 Kwa nini jina la baba yetu liondolewe mioingoni mwa ukoo wa jamaa zake kwa sababu ya kukosa wana? Tupeni ardhi miongoni mwa ndugu wa baba zetu.”
Why? will it be withdrawn [the] name of father our from among clan his for not [belonged] to him a son give! to us a possession in among [the] brothers of father our.
5 Kwa hiyo Musa alileta shauri hilo mbele za BWANA.
And he brought near Moses case their before Yahweh.
6 BWANA akanena na Musa akamwambia, “Binti wa
And he said Yahweh to Moses saying.
7 Zelofehadi wanasema kitu sahihi. Lazima uwaptie ardhi kama urithi miongoni mwa ndugu wa baba zao, na uhakikishe kuwa urithi wa baba zao wanapata.
Right [the] daughters of Zelophehad [are] speaking certainly you will give to them possession of an inheritance in among [the] brothers of father their and you will make pass over [the] inheritance of father their to them.
8 Utawaambia wana wa Israeli na kusema, 'Kama mtu anakufa na hana mtoto wa kiume, basi utaufanya urithi wake wapewe binti zake.
And to [the] people of Israel you will speak saying a man if he will die and a son not [belongs] to him and you will make pass over inheritance his to daughter his.
9 Kama hana binti, basi urithi wake atapewa kaka zake.
And if not [belongs] to him a daughter and you will give inheritance his to brothers his.
10 Kama hana kaka zake basi huo urithi watapewa ndugu wa baba yake.
And if not [belong] to him brothers and you will give inheritance his to [the] brothers of father his.
11 Kama baba yake hana ndugu, basi huo urithi atapewa ndugu yake wa karibu katika ukoo, na utauchukua kuwa wake. Hii itakuwa sheria iliyoanzishwa kwa amri kwa ajili ya watu wa Israeli kama BWANA akivyoniamuru.”
And if not brothers [belong] to father his and you will give inheritance his to relative his near to him from own clan his and he will take possession of it and it will become for [the] people of Israel a statute of judgment just as he has commanded Yahweh Moses.
12 BWANA alimwamia Musa, “Nenda juu ya mlima Abaraimu na uitazama nchi ambyo nimewapa wana wa Israeli.
And he said Yahweh to Moses go up to [the] mountain of the Abarim this and see the land which I have given to [the] people of Israel.
13 Baada ya kuwa umeiona, pia lazima ufe, kama Haruni kaka yako.
And you will see it and you will be gathered to people your also you just as he was gathered Aaron brother your.
14 Hii itatokea kwa sababu ulipinga amri yangu katika jangwa la Sini. Pale ambapo maji yalitoka kwenye mwamba, katika hasira yako ulishindwa kuniheshimu mimi kama mtakatifu mbele ya macho ya watu wote.” Haya ni yale maji ya Meriba ya Kadeshi katika jangwa la Sini.
Since you rebelled against mouth my in [the] wilderness of Zin in [the] strife of the congregation to treat as holy me at the waters to eyes their they [were] [the] waters of Meribath Kadesh [the] wilderness of Zin.
15 Ndipo Musa akamwambia BWANA akisema,
And he spoke Moses to Yahweh saying.
16 “Wewe, BWANA, Mungu wa wote wenye mwili, uchague mtu awe juu ya watu,
Let him appoint Yahweh [the] God of the spirits of all flesh a man over the congregation.
17 mtu ambaye atatoka na kuingia kuja kwao na kuwatoa kisha kuwarudisha, ili kwamba watu wako wasije kuwa kama kondoo wasiokuwa na mchungaji.”
Who he will go out before them and who he will come before them and who he will lead out them and who he will bring them and not it will be [the] congregation of Yahweh like sheep which not [belongs] to them a shepherd.
18 BWANA akanena na Musa, “Mchukue Joshua mwana wa Nuni, mtu ambaye Roho yangu hukaa, na umwekee mikono yako juu yake.
And he said Yahweh to Moses take for yourself Joshua [the] son of Nun a man whom a spirit [is] in him and you will lay hand your on him.
19 Umweke mbele ya Eliazari kuhani na mbele ya watu wote, na umwamuru kuwaongoza mbele ya macho yao.
And you will make stand him before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation and you will commission him to eyes their.
20 Utaweka baadhi ya mamlaka yako kwake, ili kwamba watu wote wa Isareli wamtii.
And you will put some of majesty your on him so that they may hear all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel.
21 Ataenda mbele ya Eliazari kuhani ili kutafuta mapenzi yangu kwake kwa ajili ya maamuzi ya kura. Yeye ndiyo atakayetoa amri ili watu kutoka na kuingia, yeye pamoja na watu wa Israeli, ambao ni watu wote.”
And before Eleazar the priest he will stand and he will enquire for him by [the] judgment of the Urim before Yahweh on mouth his they will go out and on mouth his they will come he and all [the] people of Israel with him and all the congregation.
22 Kwa hiyo Musa akafanya kama alivyoagizwa na BWANA. Alimchukua Joshua na kumweka mbele ya Eliazari kuhani na mbele ya jamii yote.
And he did Moses just as he had commanded Yahweh him and he took Joshua and he made stand him before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation.
23 Akaweka mikono yake juuy ake na kumwamuru aongoze, kama BWANA alivyokuwa amemwamuru kufanya.
And he laid hands his on him and he commissioned him just as he had spoken Yahweh by [the] hand of Moses.
