Nehemia 12
1 Hawa ndio makuhani na Walawi waliokuja pamoja na Zerubabeli mwana wa Shealueli, pamoja na Yoshua Seraya, Yeremia, Ezra,
These also are the Priestes and the Leuites that went vp with Zerubbabel, the sonne of Shealtiel, and Ieshua: to wit, Seraiah, Ieremiah, Ezra,
2 Amaria, Maluki, Hatushi,
Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
3 Shekania, Harimu na Meremothi.
Shecaniah, Rehum, Merimoth,
4 Kulikuwa na Iddo, Ginethoni, Abiya,
Iddo, Ginnetho, Abiiah,
5 Miyamini, Maazia, Bilgai,
Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
6 Shemaya, Yoyaribu, Yedaya,
Shemaiah, and Ioiarib, Iedaiah,
7 Salu, Amoki, Hilkia, na Yedaya. Hawa walikuwa wakuu wa makuhani na washirika wao katika siku za Yoshua.
Sallu, Amok, Hilkiiah, Iedaiah: these were the chiefe of the Priests, and of their brethren in the dayes of Ieshua.
8 Walawi walikuwa Yeshua, Binui, Kadmieli, Sherebia, Yuda, na Matania, aliyekuwa akiongoza nyimbo za shukrani, pamoja na washirika wake.
And the Leuites, Ieshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Iudah, Mattaniah were ouer the thankesgiuings, he, and his brethren.
9 Bakbukia na Uno, washirika wao, walisimama pembeni yao wakati wa huduma.
And Bakbukiah and Vnni, and their brethren were about them in the watches.
10 Yoshua alikuwa babaye Yoyakimu, Yoyakimu alikuwa baba wa Eliashibu, Eliashibu alikuwa babaye Yoyada,
And Ieshua begate Ioiakim: Ioiakim also begate Eliashib, and Eliashib begate Ioiada.
11 Yoyada alimzaa Yonathani, Yonathani akamzaa Yadua.
And Ioiada begate Ionathan, and Ionathan begate Iaddua,
12 Katika siku za Yoyakimu hawa walikuwa makuhani, wakuu wa jamaa; Meraya alikuwa mkuu wa Seraya, Hanania alikuwa kiongozi wa Yeremia,
And in the daies of Ioiakim were these, the chiefe fathers of the Priests: vnder Seraiah was Meraiah, vnder Ieremiah, Hananiah,
13 Meshulam alikuwa kiongozi wa Ezra, Yehohanani alikuwa kiongozi wa Amaria,
Vnder Ezra, Meshullam, vnder Amariah, Iehohanan,
14 Yonathani alikuwa kiongozi wa Maluki, na Yusufu alikuwa kiongozi wa Shekania.
Vnder Melicu, Ionathan, vnder Shebaniah, Ioseph,
15 Ili kuendelea, Adna alikuwa kiongozi wa Harimu, Helkai kiongozi wa Meremothi,
Vnder Harim, Adna, vnder Maraioth, Helkai,
16 Zekaria alikuwa kiongozi wa Ido, Meshulamu alikuwa kiongozi wa Ginethoni, na
Vnder Iddo, Zechariah, vnder Ginnithon, Meshullam,
17 Zikri alikuwa kiongozi wa Abia wa Miyaamini. Piltai alikuwa kiongozi wa Maazia.
Vnder Abiiah, Zichri, vnder Miniamin, and vnder Moadiah, Piltai,
18 Shamua alikuwa kiongozi wa Bilgai, Yehonathani alikuwa kiongozi wa Shemaya,
Vnder Bilgah, Shammua, vnder Shemaiah, Iehonathan,
19 Matenai alikuwa kiongozi wa Yoyaribu, Uzi alikuwa kiongozi wa Yedaya,
Vnder Ioiarib, Mattenai, vnder Iedaiah, Vzzi,
20 Kalai alikuwa kiongozi wa Salu, Eberi alikuwa kiongozi wa Amok,
Vnder Sallai, Kallai, vnder Amok, Eber,
21 Hashabia alikuwa kiongozi wa Hilkia, na Nethanel alikuwa kiongozi wa Yedaya.
Vnder Hilkiah, Hashabiah, vnder Iedaiah, Nethaneel.
22 Katika siku za Eliashibu, Walawi Eliashibu, Yoyada, Yohana, na Yadua waliandikwa kama vichwa vya familia, na makuhani waliandikwa wakati wa utawala wa Dariyo wa Persia.
In the dayes of Eliashib, Ioiada, and Iohanan and Iaddua were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites written, and the Priests in the reigne of Darius the Persian.
23 Wana wa Lawi na viongozi wao wa familia waliandikwa katika Kitabu cha tarehe hadi siku za Yohana mwana wa Eliashibu.
The sonnes of Leui, the chiefe fathers were written in the booke of the Chronicles euen vnto the dayes of Iohanan the sonne of Eliashib.
24 Wakuu wa Walawi walikuwa Hashabia, Sherebia, na Yeshua mwana wa Kadmieli, pamoja na washirika wao, waliokuwa wamesimama mbele yao kumtukuza na kumshukuru, akijibu sehemu kwa sehemu, kwa kutii amri ya Daudi, mtu wa Mungu.
And the chiefe of the Leuites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Ieshua the sonne of Kadmiel, and their brethren about them to giue prayse and thankes, according to the ordinance of Dauid the man of God, ward ouer against warde.
25 Matania, Bakbukia, Obadiya, Meshulamu, Talmoni na Akubu walikuwa walinzi wa malango waliokuwa wakiwa wamesimama katika vyumba vya hazina penye malango.
Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon and Akkub were porters keeping the warde at the thresholds of the gates.
26 Walitumika katika siku za Yoyakimu, mwana wa Yoshua, mwana wa Yosadaki, na katika siku za Nehemiya, gavana na Ezra kuhani na mwandishi.
These were in the dayes of Ioiakim, the sonne of Ieshua, the sonne of Iozadak, and in the dayes of Nehemiah the captaine, and of Ezra the Priest and scribe.
27 Katika kujitolea kwa ukuta wa Yerusalemu, watu walitafuta Walawi popote walipokuwa wakiishi, wakawaleta Yerusalemu ili kusherehekea kujitolea kwa furaha, pamoja na shukrani na kuimba kwa ngoma, vinanda na vinubi.
And in the dedication of the wall at Ierusalem they sought the Leuites out of all their places to bring them to Ierusalem to keepe the dedication and gladnes, both with thankesgiuings and with songs, cymbales, violes and with harpes.
28 Ushirika wa waimbaji walikusanyika pamoja kutoka wilaya iliyozunguka Yerusalemu na kutoka vijiji vya Wanetofathi.
Then the singers gathered themselues together both from the plaine countrey about Ierusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi,
29 Walikuja kutoka Beth-gilgali na kutoka katika mashamba ya Geba na Azmawethi, kwa kuwa waimbaji walikuwa wamejijengea vijiji karibu na Yerusalemu.
And from the house of Gilgal, and out of the countreis of Geba, and Azmaueth: for the singers had built them villages round about Ierusalem.
30 Makuhani na Walawi wakajitakasa, kisha wakawatakasa watu, milango na ukuta.
And the Priests and Leuites were purified, and clensed the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31 Kisha nilikuwa na viongozi wa Yuda kwenda juu ya ukuta, na mimi kuteua mikutano miwili mikubwa ya hao walioshukuru. Mmoja alienda upande wa kulia juu ya ukuta kuelekea lango la jaa.
And I brought vp the princes of Iudah vpon the wall, and appointed two great companies to giue thankes, and the one went on the right hand of the wall toward the dung gate.
32 Hoshaya na nusu ya viongozi wa Yuda walimfuata,
And after them went Hoshaiah, and halfe of the princes of Iudah,
33 na baada yake akaenda Azaria, Ezra na Meshulamu,
And Azariah, Ezra and Meshullam,
34 Yuda, Benyamini, Shemaya, Yeremia
Iudah, Beniamin, and Shemaiah, and Ieremiah,
35 na wana wa makuhani waliokuwa na tarumbeta, na Zekaria mwana wa Yonathani, mwana wa Shemaya, mwana wa Mataniya, mwana wa Mikaya, mwana wa Zakuri, mwana wa Asafu.
And of the Priests sonnes with trumpets, Zechariah the sonne of Ionathan, the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Michaiah, the sonne of Zaccur, ye sonne of Asaph.
36 Na pia jamaa za Zekaria, Shemaya, Azareli, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneli, Yuda, Hanani, pamoja na vyombo vya muziki vya Daudi mtu wa Mungu. Ezra mwandishi alikuwa mbele yao.
And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Iudah, Hanani, with the musicall instruments of Dauid the man of God: and Ezra the scribe went before them.
37 Na kwa Lango la Chemchemi walikwenda moja kwa moja na madaraja ya mji wa Daudi juu ya kupanda kwa ukuta, juu ya nyumba ya Daudi, kwenye lango la Maji upande wa mashariki.
And to the gate of the fountaine, euen ouer against them went they vp by the staires of the citie of Dauid, at the going vp of the wall beyond the house of Dauid, euen vnto the water gate Eastward.
38 Na waimbaji wengine ambao walishukuru wakaenda upande mwingine. Niliwafuata juu ya ukuta pamoja na nusu ya watu, juu ya mnara wa vinyago, hadi kuta kubwa,
And the seconde companie of them that gaue thankes, went on the other side, and I after them, and the halfe of the people was vpon the wall, and vpon the towre of the furnaces euen vnto the broad wall.
39 na juu ya lango la Efraimu, na mlango wa kale, na kwa lango la samaki na mnara wa Hananeli na mnara wa Hamea, kwa lango la Kondoo, na wakasimama kwenye mlango wa walinzi.
And vpon the gate of Ephraim, and vpon the olde gate, and vpon the fishgate, and the towre of Hananeel, and the towre of Meah, euen vnto the sheepegate: and they stood in the gate of the warde.
40 Kwa hiyo, mikutano miwili ya wale waliomshukuru walipata nafasi yao katika nyumba ya Mungu, na mimi pia nikachukua nafasi yangu na nusu ya viongozi pamoja nami.
So stood the two companies (of them that gaue thankes) in the house of God, and I and the halfe of the rulers with me.
41 Na makuhani wakachukua nafasi zao Eliakimu, Maaseya, Miyamini, Mikaya, Elioenai, Zekaria, na Hanania wenye tarumbeta,
The Priests also, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets,
42 Maaseya, na Shemaya, Eleazari, Uzi, Yehohanani, Malkiya, Elamu, Ezeri. Waimbaji waliimba na Yezrahia kama wasimamizi.
And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Vzzi, and Iehohanan, and Malchiiah, and Elam, and Ezer: and the singers sang loude, hauing Izrahiah which was the ouerseer.
43 Walitoa dhabihu kubwa siku ile, wakafurahi, kwa sababu Mungu alikuwa amewafurahisha kwa furaha kubwa. Pia wanawake na watoto walifurahi. Hivyo furaha ya Yerusalemu ikasikiwa toka mbali.
And the same day they offered great sacrifices and reioyced: for God had giuen them great ioy, so that both the women, and the children were ioyfull: and the ioy of Ierusalem was heard farre off.
44 Siku hiyo watu waliteuliwa juu ya nyumba ya hazina kwa ajili ya michango, matunda ya kwanza, na zaka, ili kuzikusanya ndani yao sehemu zinazohitajika katika sheria za makuhani na Walawi. Kila mmoja aliteuliwa kufanya kazi mashambani karibu na miji. Kwa maana Yuda alifurahi juu ya makuhani na Walawi waliokuwa wamesimama mbele yao.
Also at the same time were men appointed ouer the chambers of the store for the offerings (for the first fruites, and for the tithes) to gather into them out of the fieldes of the cities, the portions of the Law for the Priests and the Leuites: for Iudah reioyced for the Priests and for the Leuites, that serued.
45 Walifanya utumishi wa Mungu wao, na huduma ya utakaso, kwa mujibu wa amri ya Daudi na ya mwanawe Sulemani, na hivyo
And both the singers and the Leuites kept the ward of their God, and the warde of the purification according to the commandement of Dauid, and Salomon his sonne.
46 Zamani za kale, katika siku za Daudi na Asafu, kulikuwa na wasimamizi wa waimbaji, na kulikuwa na nyimbo za sifa na shukrani kwa Mungu.
For in the dayes of Dauid and Asaph, of olde were chiefe singers, and songs of praise and thankesgiuing vnto God.
47 Katika siku za Zerubabeli na katika siku za Nehemia, Israeli wote walitoa sehemu za kila siku kwa waimbaji na walinzi wa mlango. Wakaweka pembeni sehemu ya Walawi, na Walawi waliweka sehemu ya wana wa Haruni.
And in the dayes of Zerubbabel, and in the dayes of Nehemiah did al Israel giue portions vnto the singers and porters, euerie day his portion, and they gaue the holy things vnto the Leuites, and the Leuites gaue the holy things vnto the sonnes of Aaron.
