Yuda 1
1 Yuda, mtumwa wa Yesu Kristo, na ndugu yake Yakobo, kwa wale ambao wameitwa, wapendwao katika Mungu Baba, na waliotunzwa kwa ajili ya Yesu Kristo:
Judas, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are called, beloved in God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ:
2 rehema na amani na upendo viongezwe kwenu.
Mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.
3 Wapenzi, wakati nilipokuwa nikifanya kila juhudi kuwaandikia ninyi kuhusu wokovu wetu sote, ilinilazimu kuwaandikia kwa ajili ya kuwashauri ili mshindanie kwa uaminifu imani ambayo ilikuwa imekabidhiwa mara moja tu kwa waamini.
Beloved, while I was giving all diligence to write unto you of our common salvation, I was constrained to write unto you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints.
4 Kwa sababu watu fulani wamejiingiza kwa siri kati yenu - watu ambao walitiwa alama kwa ajili ya hukumu - watu wasio wataua ambao hubadili neema ya Mungu wetu kuwa ufisadi, na kumkana Bwana wetu pekee na Bwana Yesu Kristo.
For there are certain men crept in privily, [even] they who were of old set forth unto this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
5 Sasa napenda kuwakumbusha ninyi ingawa kuna wakati mlijua kwa ukamilifu kwamba Bwana aliwaokoa watu kutoka nchi ya Misri, lakini baadaye kuwaangamiza wale ambao hawakuamini.
Now I desire to put you in remembrance, though ye know all things once for all, how that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 Na malaika ambao hawakuilinda enzi yao wenyewe lakini wakaacha makao yao maalum Mungu amewaweka katika minyororo ya milele, ndani ya giza, kwa ajili ya hukumu ya siku ile kuu. (aïdios g126)
And angels which kept not their own principality, but left their proper habitation, he hath kept in everlasting bonds under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. (aïdios g126)
7 Kama vile Sodoma na Gomora na miji iliyoizunguka, ambayo pia ilijiingiza yenyewe katika uasherati na wakafuata tamaa isiyo ya asili. Walioneshwa kama mifano ya wale ambao huteseka katika hukumu ya moto wa milele. (aiōnios g166)
Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, having in like manner with these given themselves over to fornication, and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)
8 Hali kadhalika, kwa njia ile ile waota ndoto hawa pia huchafua miili yao, na hukataa mamlaka, na wananena uongo dhidi ya mtukufu.
Yet in like manner these also in their dreamings defile the flesh, and set at nought dominion, and rail at dignities.
9 Lakini hata Mikaeli malaika mkuu, wakati alipokuwa akishindana na ibilisi na kuhojiana naye kwa ajili ya mwili wa Musa, hakuthubutu kuleta hukumu ya uongo dhidi yake, lakini badala yake alisema, “Bwana akukemee!”
But Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing judgment, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10 Lakini watu hawa huleta uongo dhidi ya chochote wasicho kifahamu. Na kile wasicho kifahamu- kile ambacho wanyama wasio na akili hujua kwa silika- haya ndiyo yaliyo waharibu.
But these rail at whatsoever things they know not: and what they understand naturally, like the creatures without reason, in these things are they destroyed.
11 Ole wao! Kwa kuwa wametembea katika njia ya Kaini, na kulifuata kosa la Balaamu. Wameangamia katika uasi wa Kora.
Woe unto them! for they went in the way of Cain, and ran riotously in the error of Balaam for hire, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.
12 Hawa ni miamba katika sherehe zenu za upendo, wakisherehekea bila aibu, wakijilisha tu wenyewe. Ni mawingu yasiyo na maji, yanayobebwa na upepo, ni miti iliyopukutika isiyo na matunda iliyo kufa mara mbili, iliyong'olewa mizizi
These are they who are hidden rocks in your love-feasts when they feast with you, shepherds that without fear feed themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Ni mawimbi ya bahari yenye kelele yakitoa aibu yao wenyewe, Ni nyota zinazorandaranda ambazo weusi wa giza umetunzwa kwa ajili yao milele. (aiōn g165)
Wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the blackness of darkness hath been reserved for ever. (aiōn g165)
14 Enoko, wa saba katika orodha ya Adamu, alitabiri kuhusu wao, akisema, “Tazama! Bwana anakuja na maelfu kwa maelfu ya watakatifu wake,
And to these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones,
15 ili afanye hukumu juu ya kila mtu, na kutia hatia wote wasiomcha Mungu juu ya matendo yao yote waliyokwishafanya katika njia zisizo za kitauwa, na kwa maneno yote ya ukali ambayo wasio watauwa wameyanena dhidi yake.”
to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have ungodly wrought, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 Hawa ni wale wanung'unikao, walalamikao ambao hufuata tamaa zao za uovu, wajivunao mno, ambao kwa faida yao hudanganya wengine.
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their lusts (and their mouth speaketh great swelling [words]), shewing respect of persons for the sake of advantage.
17 Lakini ninyi, wapenzi, kumbukeni maneno ambayo yalinenwa zamani na mitume wa Bwana Yesu Kristo.
But ye, beloved, remember ye the words which have been spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 Walisema kwenu, “Katika wakati wa mwisho kutakuwa na watu wanaodhihaki ambao hufuata tamaa zao zisizo za kitauwa.”
how that they said to you, In the last time there shall be mockers, walking after their own ungodly lusts.
19 Watu hawa ni watenganishaji, wanatawaliwa na tamaa za asili, na hawana Roho.
These are they who make separations, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 Lakini ninyi, wapenzi, kama mjijengavyo katika imani yenu takatifu sana, na kama muombavyo katika Roho Mtakatifu,
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
21 jitunzeni katika upendo wa Mungu, na msubiri rehema ya Bwana wetu Yesu Kristo ambayo huwapatia uzima wa milele. (aiōnios g166)
keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
22 Onesheni rehema kwa wale walio na shaka.
And on some have mercy, who are in doubt;
23 Waokoeni wengine kwa kuwanyakua kutoka katika moto. Kwa wengine onesheni huruma kwa hofu, mkichukia hata vazi lililotiwa doa na mwili.
and some save, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Sasa kwake awezaye kuwalinda msijikwae, na kuwasababisha msimame mbele ya utukufu wake, bila mawaa na kuwa na furaha kuu,
Now unto him that is able to guard you from stumbling, and to set you before the presence of his glory without blemish in exceeding joy,
25 kwake Mungu pekee mwokozi kupitia Yesu Kristo Bwana wetu, utukufu uwe kwake, ukuu, uwezo na nguvu kabla ya nyakati zote, na sasa na hata milele. Amina. (aiōn g165)
to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, [be] glory, majesty, dominion and power, before all time, and now, and for evermore. Amen. (aiōn g165)
