Yohana 13
1 Sasa kabla ya sikukuu ya pasaka, kwa sababu Yesu alifahamu kuwa saa yake imefika ambayo atatoka katika dunia hii kwenda kwa baba, akiwa amewapenda watu wake ambao walikuwa duniani, aliwapenda upeo.
Before now the feast of the Passover knowing Jesus that (came *N(k)O*) to him hour that He may depart out of world this to the Father, having loved [his] own who [were] in the world to [the] end He loved them.
2 Na ibilisi alikuwa amewekwa tayari katika moyo wa Yuda Isikariote, mwana wa simoni, kumsaliti Yesu.
And supper (taking place, *N(k)O*) the devil already having put into the heart that he may betray Him (Judas *N(k)O*) [son] of Simon (Iscariot *NK(o)*)
3 Yesu alifahamu kuwa baba ameweka vitu vyote katika mikono yake na kwamba ametoka kwa Mungu na alikuwa anakwenda tena kwa Mungu.
knowing (*k*) (Jesus *K*) that all things (has given *N(k)O*) to Him the Father into the hands, and that from God He came forth and to God He is going,
4 Aliamka chakulani na akatandika chini vazi lake la nje. Kisha alichukua taulo na akajifunga mwenyewe.
He rises from the supper and lays aside the garments, And having taken a towel He girded Himself.
5 Kisha akatia maji katika bakuli na akaanza kuwaosha miguu wanafunzi wake na kuwafuta na taulo ambayo alijifunga yeye mwenyewe.
After that He pours water into the basin and He began to wash the feet of the disciples and to wipe [them] with the towel with which He was having girded himself.
6 Akaja kwa Simoni Petro, na Petro akamwambia, “Bwana, Unataka kuniosha miguu yangu?”
He comes then to Simon Peter; (and *k*) who says to Him (that [question]; *ko*) Lord, You yourself my do wash feet?
7 Yesu akajibu na kumwambia, “Nifanyalo hulijui sasa, lakini utaelewa baadaye.”
Answered Jesus and said to him; What I myself do you yourself not know presently, you will know however after these things.
8 Petro akamwambia, “Hutaniosha miguu yangu kamwe.” Yesu akamjibu, “Ikiwa sitakuosha, hutakuwa na sehemu pamoja nami.” (aiōn g165)
Says to Him Peter; certainly not shall You wash my feet to the age. Answered (*k*) Jesus to him; only unless I shall wash you, not you have part with Me. (aiōn g165)
9 Simoni Petro akamwambia, “Bwana, usinioshe miguu yangu tuu, bali pia na mikono na kichwa changu.”
Says to Him Simon Peter; Lord, not the feet of me only but also the hands and the head.
10 Yesu akamwambia, “Yeyote ambaye amekwisha kuoga haitaji kuoga isipokuwa miguu yake, na amekuwa safi mwili wake wote; ninyi mmekuwa safi, lakini si nyote.”
Says to him Jesus; The [one] having bathed himself not has need (only *no*) (except *N(K)O*) the feet to wash, but is clean wholly; and you yourselves clean are but not all.
11 Kwa kuwa Yesu alijua yule atakaye msaliti; hii ndiyo sababu alisema, si nyote mmekuwa safi.”
He knew for the [one who] was betraying Him; on account of this He said (that *no*) Not all clean you are.
12 Wakati Yesu alipokuwa amewaosha miguu yao na akiisha chukua vazi lake na kukaa tena, aliwaambia, “Je Mnaelewa kile ambacho nimewafanyia?
When therefore He had washed the feet of them and taken the garments of Him and (he reclined *N(k)O*) again, He said to them; Do you know what I have done to you?
13 Mnaniita mimi “Mwalimu” na Bwana hii mnasema kweli, maana ndivyo nilivyo.
You yourselves call Me: Teacher and Lord, and rightly you say; I am for.
14 Ikiwa mimi Bwana na mwalimu, nimewaosha miguu yenu, ninyi pia imewapasa kuwaosha wenzenu miguu.
If therefore I myself washed your feet the Lord and the Teacher, also you yourselves ought of one another to wash the feet;
15 Kwa kuwa nimewapa mfano ili kwamba ninyi pia mfanye kama mimi nilivyo fanya kwenu.
A pattern for I gave you, that even as I myself did to you also you yourselves may do.
16 Amini, Amini, nawambia, mtumwa si mkuu kuliko bwana wake; wala yule ambaye ametumwa ni mkuu kuliko yule aliye mtuma.
Amen Amen I say to you; not is a servant greater than the master of him nor [is] a messenger greater than the [one who] having sent him.
17 Ikiwa unafahamu mambo haya, umebarikiwa ukiyatenda.
If these things you know, blessed are you if you shall do them.
18 Sisemi kuhusu ninyi nyote, kwa kuwa nawajua wale ambao nimewachagua - bali nasema haya ili kwamba maandiko yaweze kutimilizwa: 'Yeye alaye mkate wangu ameniinulia kisigino chake.'
Not about all of you I speak; I myself know (whom *N(k)O*) I chose; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled: The [one] eating (with *k*) (Me *N(k)O*) the bread lifted up against Me myself the heel of him.’
19 Ninawambia hili sasa kabla halijatokea ili kwamba litakapotokea, muweze kuamini kuwa mimi NDIYE.
From now I am telling you before it comes to pass, so that (you may believe *NK(o)*) when it may happen that I myself am [He].
20 “Amini, amini, nawambia, anipokeaye mimi humpokea ambaye nina mtuma, na yule anipokeaye mimi humpokea yule aliye nituma mimi.”
Amen Amen I say to you; the [one] receiving (maybe *N(k)O*) any I shall send, Me myself receives; the [one] now Me myself receiving, receives the [One] having sent Me.
21 Wakati Yesu aliposema haya, alisumbuka rohoni, alishuhudia na kusema, “Amini, amini, nawambia kwamba mmoja wenu atanisaliti.”
These things having said Jesus was troubled in spirit and He testified and said; Amen Amen I say to you that one of you will betray Me.
22 Wanafunzi wake wakatazamana, wakishangaa ni kwa ajili ya nani alizungumza.
Were looking (therefore *KO*) upon one another the disciples, being uncertain of whom He is speaking.
23 Kulikuwa katika meza, mmoja wa wanafunzi wake ameegama kifuani mwa Yesu yule ambaye Yesu alimpenda.
There was (now *k*) reclining one (of *no*) the disciples of Him in the bosom of Jesus whom was loving Jesus;
24 Simoni Petro alimuuliza mwanafunzi huyu na kusema, “Twambie ni yupi ambaye kwake anazungumza.”
Motions therefore to him Simon Peter (and says to him *o*) (to ask *NK(o)*) who maybe (it would be *NK(o)*) about whom He is speaking.
25 Mwanafunzi yule aliye egama kifuani mwa Yesu na akamwambia, “Bwana, ni nani?”
(Having leaned then *N(k)O*) he (thus *NO*) on the breast of Jesus he says to Him; Lord, who is it?
26 Kisha Yesu alijibu, “Ni kwake yule nitakaye chovya kipande cha mkate na kumpatia.” Hivyo alipo kuwa amechovya mkate, alimpatia Yuda mwana wa Simon Iskariote.
Answers (therefore *O*) Jesus; He it is to whom I myself (will dip *N(k)O*) the morsel (and *no*) (will give *N(k)O*) (to him. *no*) (And *k*) (having dipped *N(k)O*) (then *NO*) the morsel (He takes [it] and *NO*) gives [it] to Judas [son] of Simon (Iscariot. *N(k)O*)
27 Na baada ya mkate, Shetani alimuingia. Kisha Yesu akamwambia, “Kile ambacho unataka kukifanya ukifanye haraka.”
And after the morsel, then entered into him Satan. Says therefore to him Jesus; What you enact, do enact quicker.
28 Sasa hakuna mtu katika meza alijua sababu ya Yesu kusema jambo hili kwake.
This now no [one] knew of those reclining to what He spoke to him.
29 Baadhi yao walidhani kwamba, kwa sababu Yuda alishika mfuko wa fedha, Yesu alimwambia, “Nunua vitu tunavyohitaji kwa ajili ya sikukuu,” au kwamba anapaswa kutoa kitu kwa masikini.
Some for were thinking, since the money bag had (*k*) Judas, for is saying to him Jesus; do buy what things need [of] we have for the feast, or to the poor that something he may give.
30 Baada ya Yuda kupokea mkate, alitoka nje harak; na ilikuwa usiku.
Having received therefore the morsel he went out immediately; it was now night.
31 Wakati Yuda alipokuwa ameondoka, Yesu alisema, “Sasa mwana wa Adam ametukuzwa, na Mungu ametukuzwa katika yeye.
When therefore he had gone out, says (*k*) Jesus; Now has been glorified the Son of Man, and God has been glorified in Him,
32 Mungu atamtukuza katika yeye mwenyewe, na atamtukuza haraka.
If God is glorified in Him also God will glorify Him in (Him[self] *N(k)O*) and immediately will glorify Him.
33 Watoto wadogo, niko pamoja nanyi kitambo kidogo. Mtanitafuta, na kama nilivyowambia Wayahudi, 'Niendako, hamuwezi kuja.' sasa nawambia ninyi, pia.
Little children, yet a little while with you I am. You will seek Me, and even as I said to the Jews that Where I myself go you yourselves not are able to come, also to you I say now.
34 Ninawapa amri mpya, kwamba mpendane; kama mimi nilivyo wapenda ninyi, vivyo hivyo nanyi pia imewapasa kupendana ninyi kwa ninyi.
A commandment new I give to you that you may love one another, even as I have loved you so also you yourselves may love one another.
35 Kwa ajili ya hili watu watatambua kuwa ninyi ni wanafunzi wangu, ikiwa mna upendo kwa kila mmoja na mwingine.”
By this will know all that to Me disciples you are, if love you shall have among one another.
36 Simoni Petro alimwambia, “Bwana, unakwenda wapi?” Yesu akajibu, “Mahali ninapokwenda kwa sasa hutaweza kunifuata, lakini utanifuata baadaye.”
Says to Him Simon Peter; Lord, where go You? Answered to him (*k*) Jesus; Where I go not you are able Me now to follow; you will follow however afterward (to me. *k*)
37 Petro akamwambia, “Bwana, kwa nini nisikufuate hata sasa? Mimi nitayatoa maisha yangu kwa ajili yako.”
Says to Him Peter; Lord, because of why not am I able You (to follow *NK(o)*) presently? The life of mine for You I will lay down.
38 Yesu akajibu, “Je utayatoa maisha yako kwa ajili yangu? Amini amini nakwambia, jogoo hatawika kabla hujanikana mara tatu.”
(answers *N(k)O*) (to him *k*) Jesus; The life of you for Me will you lay down? Amen Amen I say to you; certainly not [the] rooster (may crow *N(k)O*) until that (you will deny *N(k)O*) Me three times.
