1 Je unajua ni wakati gani mbuzi mwitu huzaa watoto wao katika miamba? Je waweza kuwangalia paa wakati wanapozaa watoto wao?
Knowest thou the time when the wilde goates bring foorth yong? or doest thou marke when the hindes doe calue?
2 Waweza kuhesabu miezi ya kuchukua mimba? Je unaujua muda ambao huzaa watoto wao?
Canst thou nomber the moneths that they fulfill? or knowest thou the time when they bring foorth?
3 Wanainama chini na kuzaa watoto wao, na kisha maumivu yao ya uzazi yanaishi.
They bow them selues: they bruise their yong and cast out their sorowes.
4 Watoto wao huwa na nguvu na kukua katika uwanda wa wazi; hutoka nje na hawarudi tena.
Yet their yong waxe fatte, and growe vp with corne: they goe foorth and returne not vnto them.
5 Ni nani huwaacha punda mwitu waende huru? Je nani amevilegeza vifungo vya punda wepesi,
Who hath set the wilde asse at libertie? or who hath loosed the bondes of the wilde asse?
6 ni nyumba ya nani nimeifanya katika Araba, au nyumba yake katika nchi ya chumvi?
It is I which haue made the wildernesse his house, and the salt places his dwellings.
7 Hucheka kwa dharau katika kelele katika mji; hasikilizi kelele za mwongozaji.
He derideth the multitude of the citie: he heareth not the crie of the driuer.
8 Hutembeatembea juu ya milima kama malisho yake; huko hutafuta kila mmea ulio wa kijani kwa ajili ya kula.
He seeketh out the mountaine for his pasture, and searcheth after euery greene thing.
9 Je nyati atakuwa na furaha kukutumikia? Je atakubali kukaa katika zizi lako?
Will the vnicorne serue thee? or will he tary by thy cribbe?
10 Waweza kumwongoza nyati kulima mtaro kwa kamba? Je atachimba bonde kwa ajili yako?
Canst thou binde the vnicorne with his band to labour in the furrowe? or will he plowe the valleyes after thee?
11 Je waweza kumtumaini kwasababu ya nguvu zake nyingi? Je waweza kumwachia kazi yako ili aifanye?
Wilt thou trust in him, because his strength is great, and cast off thy labour vnto him?
12 Je waweza kumtegemea akuletee nyumbani nafaka, au kukusanya nafaka katika uwanda wako wa kupuria?
Wilt thou beleeue him, that he will bring home thy seede, and gather it vnto thy barne?
13 Mabawa ya mbuni hupunga kwa majivuno, bali je mabawa na manyoya yana upendo?
Hast thou giuen the pleasant wings vnto the peacockes? or winges and feathers vnto the ostriche?
14 Kwa maana huuacha mayai yake katika nchi, na huyaacha yapate joto katika mavumbi;
Which leaueth his egges in the earth, and maketh them hote in the dust,
15 husahau kuwa mguu waweza kuyaharibu au kwamba mnyama mwitu aweza kuyakanyaga.
And forgetteth that the foote might scatter the, or that the wild beast might breake the.
16 Huyatendea vibaya makinda yake kana kwamba si yake; haogopi kwamba kazi yake yaweza kupotea bure,
He sheweth himselfe cruell vnto his yong ones, as they were not his, and is without feare, as if he trauailed in vaine.
17 kwasababu Mungu amemnyima hekima na hajampa ufahamu wowote.
For God had depriued him of wisedom, and hath giuen him no part of vnderstanding.
18 Na wakati anapokimbia kwa haraka, huwacheka kwa dharau farasi na mpanda farasi wake.
When time is, he mounteth on hie: he mocketh the horse and his rider.
19 Je umempa farasi nguvu zake? Je umeivika shingo yake kwa manyoya?
Hast thou giuen the horse strength? or couered his necke with neying?
20 Je umemfanya aruke kama panzi? Enzi ya mlio wake ni wa kutisha.
Hast thou made him afraid as the grashopper? his strong neying is fearefull.
21 Hurarua kwa nguvu na kufurahia katika nguvu zake; hukimbia upesi kukutana na silaha.
He diggeth in the valley, and reioyceth in his strength: he goeth foorth to meete the harnest man.
22 Huidharau hofu na hashangazwi; huwa harudi nyuma kutoka katika upanga.
He mocketh at feare, and is not afraid, and turneth not backe from the sworde,
23 Podo hugongagonga ubavuni mwake, pamoja na mkuki unaong'aa na fumo.
Though the quiuer rattle against him, the glittering speare and the shield.
24 Huimeza nchi kwa hasira na ghadhabu; katika sauti ya tarumbeta, hawezi kusimama sehemu moja.
He swalloweth the ground for fearcenes and rage, and he beleeueth not that it is the noise of the trumpet.
25 Wakati wowote tarumbeta inapolia, husema, 'Ooh! Huisikia harufu ya vita kutoka mbali - vishindo vya radi za makamanda na makelele.
He sayth among the trumpets, Ha, ha: hee smellleth the battell afarre off, and the noyse of the captaines, and the shouting.
26 Je ni kwa hekima yako kwamba mwewe hupaa juu, na ya kuwa huyanyosha mabawa yake kwa upande wa kusini?
Shall the hauke flie by thy wisedome, stretching out his wings toward the South?
27 Je ni kwa agizo lako kwamba tai huruka juu na kufanya kiota chake katika sehemu za juu?
Doeth the eagle mount vp at thy commandement, or make his nest on hie?
28 Huishi katika majabali na hufanya makao yake katika vilele vya majabali, na ngomeni.
Shee abideth and remaineth in the rocke, euen vpon the toppe of the rocke, and the tower.
29 Kutoka huko hutafuta mawindo; macho yake huyaona mawindo kutoka mbali.
From thence she spieth for meate, and her eyes beholde afarre off.
30 Makinda yake hunywa damu pia; na pale walipo watu wafu, ndipo na yeye alipo.
His young ones also sucke vp blood: and where the slaine are, there is she.
