Ayubu 12
1 Ndipo Ayubu akajibu na kusema,
Then Job, answering, said:
2 “Hakuna shaka ninyi wanadamu; Hekima mtakufa nayo.
Are you, therefore, alone among men, and will wisdom die with you?
3 Lakini nina ufahamu kama vile ninyi; Mimi siyo duni kwenu. Ni dhhiri, ni nani asiyefahamu vitu hivyo kama hivi?
And I have a heart just as you also do, and I am not inferior to you. For who is ignorant of these things, which you know?
4 Mimi ni kitu cha kuchekwa na jirani-Mimi, ni mmoja aliyemwita Mungu na ambaye alijibiwa na yeye! Mimi, ni mwenye haki na mtu asiyekuwa na hatia-Mimi sasa nimekuwa kitu cha kuchekwa.
He who is mocked by his friends as I am, will call upon God, and he will listen to him because it is the sincerity of the just that is being mocked.
5 Katika mawazo yake mtu fulani aliye katika kufurahi, kuna kudharau kwa mashaka; hufikiri katika njia ambayo huleta mambo mabaya zaidi kwa wale ambao miguu yao inateleza.
The lamp that is despised in the thoughts of the rich is ready for the appointed time.
6 Hema za wezi hufanikiwa, na wale ambao humkasirisha Mungu huhisi salama; mikono yao wenyewe ni miungu wao.
The tabernacles of robbers are numerous, and they provoke God boldly; whereas, it is he who has given all things into their hands.
7 Lakini sasa waulize hao wanyama wa mwituni, na watakufundisha wewe; waulize ndege wa angani, na watakuambia wewe.
In truth, ask the mules, and they will teach you, and the birds of the sky, and they will reveal to you.
8 Au iambie ardhi, na itakufundisha wewe; samaki wa baharini watakutangazia wewe.
Speak with the earth, and it will respond to you, and the fish of the sea will explain.
9 Ni myama yupi miongoni mwa hawa asiyefahamu kuwa mkono wa Yahwe umetenda haya?
Who is ignorant that the hand of the Lord has made all these things?
10 Katika mkono wake mna uzima wa kila kiumbe hai na pumzi ya wanadamu wote.
In his hand is the soul of all the living and the spirit of all the flesh of mankind.
11 Je, sikio haliyajaribu maneno kama vile kaakaa lionjavyo chakula chake?
Does not the ear perceive words, and the palate, when eating, perceive flavor?
12 Kwa wazee mna hekima; katika wingi wa siku mna ufahamu.
In old age is wisdom, and in length of days is prudence.
13 Pamoja na Mungu mna hekima na ukuu; yeye anayo mashauri na ufahamu.
With him is wisdom and strength, he has counsel and understanding.
14 Tazama, yeye huangusha chini, na haiwezekani kujengwa tena; kama yeye akimtia gerezani mtu yeyote, hakutakuwa tena kufunguliwa.
If he tears down, there is no one who can build up; if he encloses a man, there is no one who can open.
15 Tazama, kama yeye akiyazuia maji, yanakauka; na kama akiyaachilia nje yanaitaabisha ardhi.
If he restrains the waters, everything will dry up; and if he sends them forth, they will subdue the land.
16 Pamoja na yeye mna nguvu na hekima; watu ambao wamedanganywa na mdanganyi wote pamoja wako katika nguvu zake.
With him is strength and wisdom; he knows both the deceiver and he who is deceived.
17 Yeye huwaongoza washauri mbali bila kuvaa viatu katika huzuni; huwarudisha hakimu katika upumbavu.
He leads advisors to a foolish end and judges to stupidity.
18 Yeye Huondoa minyororo ya mamlaka kutoka kwa wafalme; yeye hufunika viuno vyao kwa nguo.
He removes the belt of kings and encircles their waist with a rope.
19 Yeye huwaongoza makuhani mbali bila kuvaa viatu na kuwapindua watu wakuu.
He leads away priests in dishonor and displaces nobles,
20 Yeye huondoa hotuba ya wale waliokuwa wameaminiwa na huondoa mbali ufahamu wa wazee.
altering the lips of those who speak the truth and sweeping away the teaching of the aged.
21 Yeye humwaga aibu juu ya binti za wafalme na hufungua mishipi ya watu wenye nguvu.
He pours disdain upon the leaders, relieving those who had been oppressed.
22 Yeye huweka wazi vitu vya kina kutoka katika giza na kuvileta nje kumuika vivuli mahali ambapa watu waliokufa wapo.
He reveals the depths of the darkness, and he brings the shadow of death into the light.
23 Yeye huyafanya mataifa kuwa na nguvu, na pia huyaharibu; Yeye pia huyakuza mataifa, na pia yeye huyaongoza mbali kama wafungwa.
He multiplies peoples, and destroys them, and, having been overthrown, he restores them anew.
24 Yeye huondoa mbali ufahamu kutoka kwa viongozi wa watu wa nchi; huwafanya wao kutangatanga msituni mahali pasipo na njia.
He transforms the heart of the leaders of the people on earth, and misleads those who in vain advance upon the inviolable.
25 Wao wanapapasa katika giza bila kuwa na mwanga; yeye huwafanya wao kuweweseka kama mtu mlevi.
They will grope as in the darkness, not the light, and he will make them stagger like drunkards.
