Wagalatia 6
1 Ndugu, ikiwa mtu amekamatwa katika uovu, ninyi mlio wa kiroho, mnawiwa kumrejesha huyo ndugu katika roho ya upole. Huku mkijiangalia wenyewe ili msijaribiwe.
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in any fault, do you, who are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.
2 Mchukuliane mizigo, na kwa hiyo mtaikamilisha sheria ya Kristo.
Bear with the weaknesses of one another, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
3 Ikiwa mtu yeyote anajiona ni bora wakati si kitu, anajidanganya mwenyewe.
For if any one think himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself:
4 Kila mmoja na aipime kazi yake. Kisha atakuwa na kitu mwenyewe peke yake cha kujisifu, bila kujilinganisha mwenyewe na mtu yeyote.
but let each one prove his own work, and then he will have cause to boast with respect to himself only, and not with respect to another:
5 Maana kila mtu atachukua mzigo wake mwenyewe.
for each one shall bear his own burden.
6 Mtu aliyefundishwa neno lazima amshirikishe mazuri yote mwalimu wake.
Let him that is instructed in the word share with his instructor in all good things.
7 Msidanganyike. Mungu hadhihakiwi. Kila apandacho mtu, ndicho atakachovuna pia.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that also shall he reap.
8 Kila apandaye mbegu katika asili yake ya dhambi atavuna uharibifu, lakini yeye apandaye mbegu katika Roho, atavuna uzima wa milele kutoka kwa Roho. (aiōnios g166)
For he that sows for his flesh shall from the flesh, reap corruption; but he that sows for his spirit shall from the Spirit reap life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
9 Tusichoke katika kutenda mema, maana kwa wakati wake tutavuna ikiwa hatutakata tamaa.
Let us not become weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10 Hivyo basi, wakati tutakapokuwa na nafasi, tutende mema kwa kila mmoja. Tutende mema zaidi hasa kwa walio ndani ya imani.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, but especially to those who are the household of the faith.
11 Angalieni ukubwa wa barua nilizowaandikia kwa mkono wangu mwenyewe.
You see how long a letter I have written to you with my own hand.
12 Wale wanaotaka kufanya mema kwa mtazamo wa mwili ndiyo wenye kuwalazimisha mtahiriwe. Wanafanya hivyo kwa sababu wasiingie kwenye mateso ya msalaba wa Kristo.
As many as wish to make a fair show in the flesh, these compel you to be circumcised, only that they may not suffer persecution for the cross of the Christ.
13 Maana hata hao waliotahiriwa wenyewe hawaishiki sheria. Badala yake wanataka ninyi mtahiriwe ili waweze kujivunia miili yenu.
For not even do those very men, who are circumcised, keep the law: but they wish you to be circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.
14 Isitokee nikajivuna isipokuwa kwa msalaba wa Bwana wetu Yesu Kristo. Ni katika yeye ulimwengu umesulubiwa kwangu na mimi katika ulimwengu.
But may I never boast save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
15 Kwa kuwa haijalishi kutahiriwa au kutokutahiriwa kuwa ni kitu. Badala yake uzao mpya ni muhimu.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision is any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
16 Kwa wote wenye kuishi kwa kanuni hii, wawe na amani na rehema iwe juu yao wote, na juu ya Israel ya Mungu.
And as many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.
17 Tangu sasa mtu yeyote asinitaabishe, maana nimebeba chapa za Yesu mwilini mwangu.
Henceforward let no one give me trouble: for I bear in my body the wounds which I received on account of the Lord Jesus.
18 Neema ya Bwana wetu Yesu Kristo iwe na roho zenu, ndugu. Amina.
Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
