Ezekieli 40
1 Katika mwaka wa ishirini na tano wa kuhamishwa kwetu mwanzoni mwa mwaka siku ya kumi ya mwezi, katika mwaka wa kumi na nne baada ya mji kuchukuliwa-katika siku hiyo hiyo, mkono wa Yahwe ulikuwa juu yangu na alinichukua huko.
In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was struck, in the same day, the hand of the LORD was on me, and he brought me there.
2 Katika maono ya Mungu akanileta hata nchi ya Israeli. Akanileta kupumzika juu ya kila mlima mrefu sana; upande wa kusini kulikuwa na monekano kana kwamba majengo ya mji.
In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me down on a very high mountain, whereon was as it were the frame of a city on the south.
3 Kisha akanileta huko. Tazama, kulikuwa na mtu! Mwonekano wake ulikuwa kama mwonekano wa shaba. Alikuwa na uzi wa kitani na mwanzi wa kupimia mkononi mwake, na alisimama katika lango la mji.
He brought me there; and, look, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of bronze, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.
4 Huyo mtu akanambia, “Mwanadamu, tazama kwa macho yako na sikiliza kwa masikio yako, na elekeza moyo wako juu ya yote ninayokufunulia, kwa kuwa ulinileta hapa ili niweze kukufunulia haya wewe. Toa taarifa ya kila kitu utakachokiona kwa nyumba ya Israeli.
The man said to me, "Son of man, see with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart on all that I shall show you; for, to the intent that I may show them to you, you are brought here: declare all that you see to the house of Israel."
5 Kulikuwa ukuta uliokuwa umezunguka eneo la hekalu. Urefu wa kipimo cha mwanzi katika mkono wa mtu ulikuwa dhiraa sita urefu, kila urefu wa dhiraa ulikuwa dhiraa moja na kipimo cha kiganja cha mkono urefu. Aliupima ukuta; ulikuwa kipimo cha mwanzi mmoja na ufito mmoja urefu.
Look, a wall on the outside of the house all around, and in the man's hand a measuring reed ten feet four inches (based on a standard eighteen inches plus three inches). So he measured the thickness of the building ten feet four inches, and the height ten feet four inches.
6 Kisha akaenda hata kwenye lango la hekalu lililokuwa limeelekea mashariki. Akapanda ngazi na kuipima kizingiti cha lango-mwanzi mmoja upana.
Then came he to the gate which looks toward the east, and went up its steps: and he measured the threshold of the gate, ten feet four inches broad; and the other threshold, ten feet four inches broad.
7 Vyumba vya ulinzi vilikuwa kila mwanzi mmoja urefu na mwanzi mmoja upana; kulikuwa na dhiraa tano katika kila vyumba viwili, na kizingiti cha lango la hekalu karibu na tawa la hekalu kilikuwa mwanzi mmoja urefu.
Every side-room was ten feet four inches long, and one reed broad; and the space between the side-rooms was eight feet seven inches; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate at the inner end was ten feet four inches.
8 Akapima tawa la lango; ulikuwa mwanzi mmoja urefu.
He measured also the porch of the gate toward the house, ten feet four inches.
9 Akapima tawa la lango. Ilikuwa mwanzi mmoja kwenda chini. Mihimili ilikuwa dhiraa mbili upana. Hili lilikuwa tawa la lango kuelekea hekalu.
Then measured he the porch of the gate, thirteen feet nine inches; and its jambs, three feet five inches; and the porch of the gate was toward the inner end.
10 Kulikuwa na vyumba vitatu vya ulinzi pande zote za lango la mashariki, na yote yalikuwa na kipimo kile kile, na kuta zilizokuwa zimezigawanya zilikuwa na kipimo kile kile.
The side-rooms of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they three were of one measure: and the jambs had the same measurement.
11 Kisha yule mtu akapima upana wa njia ya lango la kuingia-dhiraa kumi; na akapima urefu wa njia ya lango la kuingia-dhiraa kumi na tatu.
He measured the breadth of the opening of the gate, seventeen feet three inches; and the length of the gate, twenty-two feet five inches;
12 Akaupima ukuta uliokuwa mpaka mbele ya vyumba-dhiraa moja urefu. Vyumba vilipimwa dhiraa sita kila upande.
and a barrier in front of the side-rooms, twenty-one inches, and a barrier on the other side, twenty-one inches; and the side-rooms were ten feet four inches square.
13 Kisha akapima lango la njia kutoka kwenye paa ya chumba kimoja kuelekea chumba kingine-dhiraa ishirini na tano, kutoka lango la kuingia chumba cha kwanza kuelekea kile cha pili.
He measured the gate from the ceiling of the one side-room to the ceiling of the other, a breadth of fourty-three feet one inch; the openings being opposite each other.
14 Kisha akapima ukuta uliokuwa umeenda kati ya vyumba vya ulinzi-dhiraa sitini urefu; alipima kwa mbali na tawa la lango.
He also measured the porch, one hundred three feet four inches; and to the jamb of the courtyard was the gateway all around.
15 Lango la kuingia kutoka lango la mbele kuelekea lango jingine la tawa la mwisho lilikuwa dhiraa hamsini.
From the forefront of the gate at the entrance to the forefront of the inner porch of the gate were eighty-six feet one inch.
16 Kulikuwa na madirisha yaliyokuwa yamefungwa kuelekea vyumba na kuelekea nguzo zake kati ya malango kuzunguka kote; na vivyo hivyo kwa mabaraza. Kulikuwa na madirisha pande zote za ndani, na kila mhimili ulikuwa umepambwa kwa mitende.
There were closed windows to the side-rooms, and toward their jambs within the gate all around, and likewise to the porches; and windows were around the inside; and on each jamb were palm trees.
17 Kisha huyo mtu akanileta hata ua wa nje mwa hekalu. Tazama, kulikuwa na vyumba, na kulikuwa na kibamba katika ua, pamoja na vyumba thelathini baada ya kibamba.
Then he brought me into the outer court; and look, there were rooms and a pavement, made for the court all around: thirty rooms faced the pavement.
18 Kibamba kilienda juu hata upande wa malango, na upana wake ulikuwa sawsawa na urefu wa malango. Hiki kilikuwa kibamba cha chini.
The pavement was by the side of the gates, corresponding to the length of the gates; this was the lower pavement.
19 Kisha huyo mtu akapima umbali kutoka mebele ya lango la chini hata mbele ya lango la ndani; ilikuwa dhiraa mia moja upande wa mashariki, na sawasawa na upande wa kaskazini.
Then he measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate to the forefront of the inner court outside, one hundred seventy-two feet three inches, both on the east and on the north.
20 Kisha akapima urefu na upana wa lango lililokuwa upande wa kaskazini mwa ua wa nje.
And the gate of the outer court which faced toward the north, he measured its length and its breadth.
21 Kulikuwa na vyumba vitatu pande zote za lango, na lango na matawa yake yalipimwa sawa na lango kubwa-dhiraa hamsini upana wote na dhiraa ishirini na tano upana.
And its side-rooms were three on either side, and its jambs and its porches had the same measurement as the first gate; its length was eighty-six feet one inch, and the breadth fourty-three feet one inch.
22 Madirisha yake, tawa, vyumba, na mitende yake vilikabiliana na lango ambalo linaloelekea mashariki. Ngazi saba kuupandia juu hata kwenye tawa lake.
And its windows, and its porches, and the palm trees of it had the same measurement as the gate that faced toward the east. And they went up to it by seven steps; and its porch was in front of them.

And there was a gate to the inner court across the gate to the north and the east; and he measured from gate to gate one hundred seventy-two feet three inches.

He led me toward the south; and look, a gate toward the south. And he measured its jambs and its porches; they were the same size as the others.
25 Kulikuwa na madirisha yaliyofungwa katika lango la njia na tawa lake kama lile lango. Lango la kusini na tawa lake vilipimwa dhiraa hamsini urefu na dhiraa ishirini na tano upana.
There were windows in it and in its porches all around, like those windows; the length was eighty-six feet one inch, and the breadth fourty-three feet one inch.
26 Kulikuwa na ngazi saba hadi kwenye lango na matawa yake, na kulikuwa na mitende iliyochongoka juu ya kuta pande zote.
There were seven steps to go up to it, and its porches were in front of them; and it had palm trees on its jambs, one on either side.
27 Kulikuwa na lango la ua wa ndani upande wa kusini, na yule mtu akapima kutoka hilo lango hata lango la kuingia upande wa kusini-dhiraa mia moja umbali.
There was a gate to the inner court toward the south. And he measured from gate to gate toward the south one hundred seventy-two feet three inches.

Then he brought me to the inner court by the south gate, and it had the same dimensions as the others.

And its side-rooms, and its jambs, and its porches were of the same size as the others. And there were windows in it and in its porches all around; it was eighty-six feet one inch long, and fourty-three feet one inch broad.
30 Pia kulikuwa na matao pande zote za kuta za ndani; haya yalikuwa dhiraa ishirini na tano urefu na dhiraa tano upana.
And there were porches all around, fourty-three feet one inch long, and eight feet seven inches broad.
31 Hili tawa lilielekea ua wa nje pamoja na mitende iliyochongwa juu ya kuta zake na ngazi nane kuupandia.
And the porches of it faced the outer court, and palm trees were on its jambs, and its stairway had eight steps.
32 Kisha yule mtu akanileta hata kwenye ua wa ndani karibu na njia ya kaskazini na kulipima lango, ambalo lilikuwa na vipimo sawa kama malango mengine.
And he brought me to the inner court toward the east, and he measured the gate as being the same size;

He brought me to the north gate, and he measured it; and it had the same dimensions as the others;
36 Vyumba vyake, kuta, na ukumbi vilipimwa sawa na malango mengine, na kulikuwa na madirisha pande zote. Njia ya lango na matao yake yalipimwa dhiraa hamsini urefu na upana dhiraa ishirini na tano.
its side-rooms, its jambs, and its porches. And there were windows in it all around; the length was eighty-six feet one inch, and the breadth fourty-three feet one inch.
37 Tatawa lake lilielekea ua wa nje; ilikuwa na mitende pande zote za huo na ngazi nane kuupandia.
And its porch faced the outer court; and palm trees were on its jambs, on either side, and its stairway had eight steps.
38 Kulikuwa na chumba pamoja na mlango karibu na kila lango la ndani. Hapa ndipo ambako walipooshea sadaka za kutekezwa.
And a chamber with its door was by the porch of the gate; there they washed the burnt offering.
39 Kulikuwa na meza mbili kila upande wa kila ukumbi, ambako sadaka ya kuteketezwa ilipochinjiwa, na pia sadaka ya dhambi na sadaka ya hatia.
And in the porch of the gate were two tables on either side, and two tables on that side, on which to slaughter the burnt offering and the sin offering and guilt offering.
40 Karibu na ukuta wa ua, kuelekea juu kwenye lango kuelekea kaskazini, kulikuwa na meza mbili. Pia kwa upande mwingine kulikuwa na meza mbili kwenye lango la ukumbi.
On the one side outside, as one goes up to the entrance of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side of the porch of the gate were two tables.
41 Kulikuwa na meza nne pande zote karibu na lango; wakachinja wanyama juu ya meza nane.
Four tables were on either side of the gate, eight tables on which they slaughtered the sacrifices.
42 Kulikuwa na meza nne za mawe yaliyochongwa kwa ajili ya sadaka ya kuteketezwa, dhiraa moja na nusu urefu, dhiraa moja na nusu upana, na kimo dhiraa moja. Juu yake waliweka vyombo pamoja ambavyo walivichinjia sadaka za kuteketezwa kwa ajili ya sadaka.
There were four tables of carved stone for the burnt offering, two feet seven inches long, and two feet seven inches broad, and twenty-one inches high; on which they laid the instruments with which they slaughtered the burnt offering and the sacrifice.
43 Kulabu mbili ujazo wa kiganja urefu uliokuwa umeunganishwa katika ua pande zote, na nyama ya matoleo ilikuwa imewekwa juu ya meza.
The hooks, three inches long, were fastened all around within, and on the tables was the flesh of the offering.
44 Karibu na lango la ndani, katika ua wa ndani, kulikuwa na vyumba vya waimbaji. Moja ya hivi vyumba kilikuwa upande wa kaskazini, na kingine kusini.
And from the outside of the inner gate were two chambers in the inner court, one which was at the side of the north gate facing toward the south; and one at the side of the south gate facing toward the north.
45 Kisha yule mtu akanambia, “Hiki chumba kinachoelekea kusini ni kwa ajili ya makuhani walio zamu katika hekalu.
He said to me, "This room that faces toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the duty of the house;
46 Chumba kilichoelekea kaskazini kilikuwa kwa ajili ya makuhani waliokuwa zamu kwenye madhabahu. Hawa ni wana wa Sadoki ambaye huja humkaribia Yahwe kumtumikia; ambao ni miongoni mwa wana wa Lawi.”
and the room that faces toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the duty of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok, who from among the sons of Levi come near to the LORD to minister to him."
47 Kisha akaupima ule ua-dhiraa mia moja urefu na dhiraa mia moja upana mraba, pamoja na madhabahu mbele ya nyumba.
He measured the court, one hundred seventy-two feet three inches long, and one hundred seventy-two feet three inches broad, a square; and the altar was in front of the house.
48 Kisha yule mtu akanileta hata kwenye varanda ya nyumba na kupima mwimo wa milango yake-ilikuwa dhiraa tano unene upande huu. Njia ya kuingilia yenyewe ilikuwa dhiraa kumi na nne, na kuta pande zote za huo zilikuwa dhraa tatu upana.
Then he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured the jambs of the porch, eight feet seven inches on each side. And the breadth of the gate was twenty-four feet one inch, and the sides of the gate were five feet two inches on each side.
49 Urefu wa ukumbi ulikuwa dhiraa ishirini, na upana wake ulikuwa dhiraa kumi na moja. Kulikuwa na ngazi zilizokuwa zimepanda juu na nguzo zilizokuwa zimesimama pande zote za huo.
The length of the porch was thirty-four feet five inches, and the breadth twenty feet eight inches. And they went up to it by ten steps; and there were pillars by the jambs on either side.
