1 Musa akawakusanya jamii yote ya Waisraeli na kuwaambia, “Haya ndio mambo Yahweh aliyo waamuru mfanye.
Moses/I gathered all the Israeli people together and said to them, “This is what Yahweh has commanded you to do:
2 Kwa siku sita kazi ya weza fanywa, lakini kwako, siku ya saba lazima iwe siku takatifu, siku ya Sabato ya mapumziko, takatifu kwa Yahweh. Yeyote atakaye fanya kazi hiyo siku lazima auawe.
[Each week] you may work for six days, but on the seventh day you must rest. It is a sacred day, dedicated to Yahweh. Anyone who does any work on the seventh day must be executed.
3 Haupaswi kuwasha moto kwenye nyumba zenu siku ya Sabato.”
Do not [even] light a fire in your homes on days of rest.”
4 Musa akasema na jamii yote ya Waisraeli, kwa kusema, “Hichi ndicho kitu Yahweh alicho amuru.
Moses/I also said to all the Israeli people, “This is [also] what Yahweh has commanded:
5 Chukuwa sadaka kwa ajili ya Yahweh, wote wenye moyo mkunjufu. Leta sadaka kwa Yahweh - dhahabu, fedha, shaba,
Make offerings to Yahweh. Everyone who wants to should bring to Yahweh an offering. [These are the things that they may offer]: Gold, silver, bronze,
6 buluu, zambarau, sufu nyekundu na kitambaa kizuri; nywele za mbuzi;
fine white linen, blue or purple or red cloth, [cloth made from] goats’ hair,
7 ngozi za kondoo zilizotiwa rangi nyekundu na ngozi za pomboo; na mbao za mshita;
rams’ skins that are (tanned/dyed red), fine leather made from goatskins, wood from acacia [trees],
8 mafuta ya taa kwa pahali patakatifu, viungo vya manukato kwa hayo mafuta ya kutiwa,
oil for the lamps, spices to put in the olive oil for anointing and in the sweet-smelling incense,
9 kwa uvumba mzuri na vito vya shohamu na vito vya kutiwa kwa hiyo naivera, na kwa hicho kifuko cha kifuani.
[valuable] onyx stones or [other] valuable stones to fasten onto the [priest’s] sacred apron and put on his sacred chest pouch.
10 Kila mwanaume mwenye ustadi kati yenu aje na afanye kila kitu ambacho Yahweh aliyaamuru —
“All the skilled workers among you should come and make all the things that Yahweh has commanded:
11 hema la kuabudia, na kifuniko chake, na vifungo vyake, na mbao zake, nguzo, na sakafu;
The Sacred Tent and its covering, its fasteners and its frames, its crossbars, its posts, its bases,
12 pia sanduku na nguzo zake, kiti cha rehema, na pazia la kusitiri.
the sacred chest with its poles and its lid, the curtain that will separate the Holy Place from the Very Holy Place,
13 Walileta meza na miguu yake, vyombo vyake vyote, na mkate wa wonyesho;
the table with the poles [for carrying it] and all the things that will be used with the table, the sacred bread that will be offered to God,
14 kinara cha taa, vyombo vyake, taa, na mafuta ya zile taa;
the lampstand for the lamps with all the things that will be used to take care of them, the oil for the lamps,
15 ile madhabahu ya uvumba na nguzo zake, mafuta ya upako na uvumba ulitiwa maukato; kishikizo cha mwingilio wa hema ya kuabudia;
the altar for [burning] incense, and the poles [for carrying that altar], the oil for anointing and the sweet-smelling incense, the curtain for the entrance of the Sacred Tent,
16 madhabahu ya sadaka ya kuteketeza na kitunzi cha shaba na nguzo na vyombo; na ile beseni kubwa na sakafu yake.
the altar for offering [sacrifices that will be completely] burned and its bronze grating, the poles [for carrying] that altar and all the things that will be used with it, the washbasin and its base,
17 Walileta vishikizo kwa ajili ya nyuani na nguzo zake na sakafu yake, na pazia kwa ajili mwingilio wa nyauni;
the curtains [to surround] the courtyard and the posts and bases [for the posts from which to hang the curtains], the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard,
18 na ile misumari ya hema la kuabudia na nyuani, pamoja na kamba zake.
the pegs and ropes for the Sacred Tent and for the courtyard,
19 Walileta mavazi yaliyofumwa kutumikia sehemu takatifu, mavazi takatifu ya Aruni kuhani na wanae, kwa wao kutumika kama makuhani.”
and the beautiful clothes that Aaron and his sons are to wear when they do their work in the Holy Place.”
20 Kisha makabila yote ya Israeli yakaondoka na kwenda kutoka uweponi mwa Musa.
Then all the Israeli people returned [to their tents].
21 Kila mtu moyo wake ulimchochea na aliye andaliwa na roho yake alikuja na kuleta sadaka kwa Yahweh kwa matengenezo ya hema ya kuabudia, kwa vitu vyote kwajili ya huduma ndani yake, na kwa vazi takatifu.
Everyone who wanted to brought an offering to Yahweh. They brought some of the things that would be used to make the Sacred Tent and all the other items that would be used in the rituals, and the materials to make the sacred clothes [for the priests].
22 Walikuja, wote wanaume kwa wanawake, wote waliokuwa na moyo wa utayari. Walileta madini, hereni, pete, na vitu vya thamani, vitu vyote tofauti vyenye madini ya dhahabu. Waliwasilisha sadaka za dhahabu kama sadaka ya kupunga kwa Yahweh.
All the men and women who wanted to brought gold ornaments, earrings, rings, necklaces, and many other kinds of things made of gold, and they dedicated them to Yahweh.
23 Kila mmoja alikuwa na sufu ya buluu, dhambarau, au nyekundu, nguo nzuri, singa za mbuzi, ngozi za kondoo zilizobadili kuwa nyekundu, na ngozi ya pomboo walivileta.
And many [HYP] people who had blue, purple, or red cloth or fine white linen or cloth made from goats’ hair or rams’ skins that were (tanned/dyed red) or leather made from goatskins brought some of these things.
24 kila mmoja alitengeneza sadaka ya fedha au shaba walizileta kama sadaka kwa Yahweh, na kila mmoja aliyekuwa na mti wa mshita kwa matumizi ya kazi aliuleta.
All those who had silver or bronze brought them as offerings to Yahweh. All those who had some acacia wood that could be used for any of the work brought it.
25 kila mwanamke mwenye ustadi walisokota sufu kwa mikono yao na walileta sufu walizosokota za buluu, dhambarau, au sufu nyekundu, au nguo nzuri.
All the women who were skilled to make cloth brought fine linen thread and blue, purple, or red yarn/thread that they had made/spun.

And all the women who wanted to made/spun thread from goats’ hair.
27 Viongozi walileta mawe ya shohamu na mawe mengine kwaajili ya kuwekwa kwenye hiyo naivera na hicho kifuko cha kifuani;
All the leaders brought valuable onyx stones and other valuable stones to be fastened to Aaron’s sacred apron and his sacred chest pouch.
28 walileta viungo na mafuta kwaajili ya taa, kwa mafuta ya upako, na kwa uvumba wa manukato.
They also brought spices [to put in the sweet-smelling incense], and they brought olive oil for the lamps and for the oil for anointing and for putting in the sweet-smelling incense.
29 Waisraeli walileta sadaka ya hiyari kwa Yahweh; kila mwanaume na mwanamke ambao mioyo yao ilikuwa tayari walileta vifaa kwaajili kazi zote ambazo Yahweh aliamuru kupitia Musa zifanyike.
All the Israeli men and women who wanted to brought these things to offer them to Yahweh, for doing the work that he had commanded Moses/me to do.
30 Musa alisema kwa waisraeli, “Tazama, Yahweh ameita kwa jina juu ya Bezaleli mwana wa Uri mwana wa Huri, kutoka kabila la Yuda.
Moses/I said to the Israeli people, “Listen carefully. Yahweh has chosen Bezalel, the son of Uri and grandson of Hur, from the tribe of Judah.
31 Aliijaza Bezaleli kwa Roho yake, kumpa hekima, uwelewa, na maarifa, kwa aina zote za ujenzi,
Yahweh has enabled his Spirit to completely control Bezalel and has given him ability and enabled him to know how to do very skilled work.
32 kufanya sanaa ya ubunifu na kufanya kazi za dhahabu, shaba, na shaba;
He can engrave skillful designs in gold, silver, and bronze.
33 pia kukata na kupanga mawe na mbao iliochongwa- kufanya kazi za aina zote kwa ubunifu na ujenzi.
He can cut (jewels/valuable stones) and enclose them [in tiny gold frames]. He can carve things from wood and do other skilled work.
34 Aliiweka kufundisha ndani ya moyo wake, yeye pamoja na Oholiabu mwana wa Ahisamaki, kutoka kabila la Dani.
Yahweh has also given to him and to Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach their skills to others.
35 Aliwajaza kwa ustadi wa kufanya kazi za aina zote, kufanya kazi ya kama kuchora mawe, kama mwerevu, kama mtia taraza katika nyuzi za rangu ya buluu, dhambarau, na nyekundu na nguo nzuri, na kama washonaji. Walikuwa wachonga mawe wa kazi zote, na walikuwa wabunifu wa sanaa.
He has given to them the ability to do all kinds of work that is done by craftsmen—those who create artistic things, those who make fine white linen, those who embroider designs using blue or purple or red yarn/thread, and those who make other cloth. They are able to do many [HYP] kinds of skillful work.
