1 Umuite Aruni kaka yako na wana wake - Nadabu, na Abihu, na Eleazari, na Ithamari - miongoni mwa wana wa Israeli, ili anitumikie katika kazi ya ukuhani.
And cause thou thy brother Aaron to come vnto thee and his sonnes with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may serue me in the Priestes office: I meane Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar Aarons sonnes.
2 Nawe utamfanyia Aruni ndugu yako mavazi matakatifu, kwa utukufu na kwa uzuri.
Also thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, glorious and beautifull.
3 Nawe utawaambia watu wote wenye moyo wa hekima, niliowajaza na roho ya hekima wamfanyie Aruni mavazi ili kumtakasa anitumikie katika kazi ya ukuhani.
Therefore thou shalt speake vnto al cunning men, whome I haue filled with the spirite of wisedome, that they make Aarons garments to consecrate him, that he may serue me in the Priestes office.
4 Na mavazi watakayoyafanya ni kifuko cha kifuani, na naivera, na joho, na kanzu ya kazi ya urembo, na kilemba, na mshipi; nao watawafanyia Aruni nduguye, na wanawe, mavazi matakatifu ili anitumikie katika kazi ya ukuhani.
Nowe these shall be the garments, which they shall make, a brest plate, and an Ephod, and a robe, and a broydred coate, a miter, and a girdle. so these holy garments shall they make for Aaron thy brother, and for his sonnes, that he may serue me in the Priests office.
5 Nao wataitwaa dhahabu, na nguo ya rangi ya samawi, na ya rangi ya zambarau, na ya rangi nyekundu.
Therefore they shall take golde, and blew silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine linnen,
6 Nao waifanye naivera kwa nyuzi za dhahabu, na za samawi, na za zambarau, na nyekundu, na kitani nzuri yenye kusokotwa kwa kazi ya mstadi.
And they shall make the Ephod of gold, blewe silke, and purple, skarlet, and fine twined linen of broydred worke.
7 Lazima itakuwa na vipande viwili vya mabegani, vilivyoungana kwenye ncha zake mbili; ili ipate kuunganywa.
The two shoulders thereof shalbe ioyned together by their two edges: so shall it be closed.
8 Na mshipi wa kazi ya ustadi ulio juu yake, ili kuifunga mahali pake; utakuwa wa kazi kama ile ya naivera, ya vitu vile vile ya nyuzi za dhahabu, na za rangi ya samawi, na ya zambarau, na nyekundu, na kitani nzuri yenye kusokotwa.
And the embroydred garde of the same Ephod, which shalbe vpon him, shall be of the selfe same worke and stuffe, euen of golde, blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine twined linen.
9 Nawe utatwaa vito viwili vya shohamu, ya rangi ya chani-kiwiti, nawe utachora juu yake majina ya wana wa Israeli;
And thou shalt take two onix stones, and graue vpon them the names of the children of Israel:
10 Majina yao sita katika kito kimoja, na majina sita yaliyosalia katika kile kito cha pili, kwa utaratibu wa kuzaliwa kwao.
Sixe names of them vpon the one stone, and the sixe names that remaine, vpon the seconde stone, according to their generations.
11 Kwa kazi mtu mwenye kuchora mawe kama vile muhuri ichorwavyo, utavichora hivi vito viwili, sawasawa na majina ya wana wa Israeli, nawe utavitia katika vijalizo vya dhahabu.
Thou shalt cause to graue the two stones according to the names of the children of Israel by a grauer of signets, that worketh and graueth in stone, and shalt make them to be set and embossed in golde.
12 Nawe utavitia vile vito viwili juu ya vipande vya mabegani vya hiyo naivera, viwe vito vya ukumbusho kwa ajili ya wana wa Israeli. Naye Aruni atayachukua majina yao mbele za Yahweh juu ya mabega yake mawili ili kuwa ukumbusho.
And thou shalt put the two stones vpon the shoulders of the Ephod, as stones of remebrance of the children of Israel: for Aaron shall beare their names before the Lord vpon his two shoulders for a remembrance.
13 Nawe fanya vijalizo viwili vya dhahabu
So thou shalt make bosses of golde,
14 na mikufu miwili ya dhahabu safi; utaifanya iwe mfano wa kamba, ya kazi ya kusokotwa; nawe uitie ile mikufu ya kazi ya kusokotwa katika vile vijalizo.
And two cheynes of fine golde at the ende, of wrethed worke shalt thou make them, and shalt fasten the wrethed cheynes vpon the bosses.
15 Nawe lazima utafanya kifuko cha kifuani cha hukumu, kazi ya fundi stadi; utakifanya kwa kuiandama ile kazi ya hiyo naivera. Fanya nyuzi za dhahabu, na za rangi ya samawi, na za rangi ya zambarau, na nyekundu, na kitani safi yenye kusokotwa, ndivyo utakavyokifanya.
Also thou shalt make the brest plate of iudgement with broydred worke: like the worke of the Ephod shalt thou make it: of gold, blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine twined linen shalt thou make it.
16 Kitakuwa mraba, tena cha kukunjwa; urefu wake utakuwa shibiri moja, na upana wake shibiri moja.
Foure square it shall be and double, an hand bredth long and an hand bredth broade.
17 Nawe ukijaze viweko vya vito, safu nne za vito; safu moja itakuwa ni akiki, na yakuti ya rangi ya manjano, na baharamani, hivi vitakuwa safu ya kwanza.
Then thou shalt set it full of places for stones, euen foure rowes of stones: the order shalbe this, a rubie, a topaze, and a carbuncle in the first rowe.
18 Na safu ya pili itakuwa zumaridi, na yakuti samawi, na almasi.
And in the seconde rowe thou shalt set an emeraude, a saphir, and a diamonde.
19 Na safu ya tatu itakuwa hiakintho, na akiki nyekundu, na amethisto.
And in the third rowe a turkeis, an achate, and an hematite.
20 Na safu ya nne itakuwa ni zabarajadi, na shohamu, na yaspi. Vito hivyo vitakazwa ndani ya dhahabu kwa kujaa mahali pake.
And in the fourth rowe a chrysolite, an onix, and a iasper: and they shall be set in golde in their embossements.
21 Na vile vito vitakuwa sawasawa na majina ya wana wa Israeli, kumi na viwili, sawasawa na majina yao. Mfano wa kuchora kwa muhuri kila kimoja sawasawa na jina lake, vitakuwa vya hizo kabila kumi na mbili.
And the stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israel, twelue, according to their names, grauen as signets, euerye one after his name, and they shall bee for the twelue tribes.
22 Nawe lazima utie katika kile kifuko cha kifuani mikufu mfano wa kamba, ya kazi ya kusokotwa, ya dhahabu safi.
Then thou shalt make vpon the breast plate two cheines at the endes of wrethen worke of pure golde.
23 Nawe utie maduara mawili ya dhahabu katika kile kifuko cha kifuani, na kuzitia hizo pete mbili katika ncha mbili za kifuko cha kifuani.
Thou shalt make also vpon the brest plate two rings of golde, and put the two rings on the two endes of the brest plate.
24 Nawe utie hiyo mikufu miwili ya dhahabu iliyosokotwa katika zile pete mbili zilizo katika ncha za kifuko cha kifuani.
And thou shalt put the two wrethen chaynes of golde in the two rings in the endes of the brest plate.
25 Na ncha zile nyingine za hiyo mikufu miwili ya kusokotwa utazitia katika vile vijalizo viwili, na kuvitia katika vile vipande vya mabegani vya naivera upande wa mbele.
And the other two endes of the two wrethen cheines, thou shalt fasten in ye two embossements, and shalt put them vpon the shoulders of the Ephod on the foreside of it.
26 Nawe utafanya viduara vili vya dhahabu, uzitie katika hizo ncha mbili za kifuko cha kifuani, katika ukingo wake.
Also thou shalt make two rings of gold, which thou shalt put in the two other endes of the brest plate, vpon the border thereof, towarde the inside of the Ephod.
27 Nawe lazima ufanye viduara vili vya dhahabu, na kuzitia katika vile vipande viwili vya mabegani vya ile naivera chini yake, upande wa mbele, karibu na kifungo chake, juu ya huo mshipi wa naivera uliosukwa kwa ustadi.
And two other rings of golde thou shalt make, and put them on the two sides of the Ephod, beneath in the forepart of it ouer against the coupling of it vpon the broydred garde of the Ephod.
28 Nao watakikaza kile kileso kwa vile viduara vyake kwenye viduara za naivera kwa ukanda wa rangi ya samawi, ili kwamba kikae pale juu ya ule mshipi wa naivera uliosukwa kwa ustadi, ili kwamba kifuko cha kifuani kisiachane na naivera.
Thus they shall binde the brest plate by his rings vnto the rings of the Ephod, with a lace of blewe silke, that it may be fast vpon the broydred garde of the Ephod, and that the brest plate be not loosed from the Ephod.
29 Na Aruni atayachukua majina ya wana wa Israeli katika kile kifuko cha kifuani cha hukumu juu ya moyo wake kwa kufanya maamuzi, hapo atakapoingia ndani ya mahali patakatifu, kuwa ukumbusho mbele yaYahweh daima.
So Aaron shall beare the names of the children of Israel in the brest plate of iudgement vpon his heart, when he goeth into the holy place, for a remembrance continually before the Lord.
30 Nawe utie hizo Urimu na Thumimu katika kile kifuko cha kifuani cha hukumu; nazo zitakuwa juu ya moyo wa Aruni, hapo atakapoingia ndani mbele ya Yahweh na Aruni atachukua hukumu ya hao wana wa Israeli juu ya moyo wake mbele ya Yahweh daima.
Also thou shalt put in the brest plate of iudgement the Vrim and the Thummim, which shalbe vpon Aarons heart, when he goeth in before the Lord: and Aaron shall beare the iudgement of the children of Israel vpon his heart before the Lord continually.
31 Nawe fanya hiyo joho ya naivera ya rangi ya samawi yote.
And thou shalt make the robe of the Ephod altogether of blewe silke.
32 Nayo itakuwa na tundu katikati yake kwa kupitisha kichwa; itakuwa na utepe wa kazi ya kusokotwa kuzunguka hilo tundu lake, mfano wa tundu lililo katika kanzu ya chuma, ili lisipasuke.
And the hole for his head shalbe in the middes of it, hauing an edge of wouen woorke rounde about the coller of it: so it shalbe as the coller of an habergeon that it rent not.
33 Nawe katika pindo zake utatia makomamanga ya rangi ya samawi, na ya rangi ya zambarau, na ya rangi nyekundu, kuzunguka pindo zake kotekote; na njuga za dhahabu kati ya hayo makomamanga pande zote.
And beneath vpon the skirtes thereof thou shalt make pomegranates of blew silke, and purple, and skarlet, round about the skirts thereof, and belles of gold betweene them round about:
34 Kengele ya dhahabu na komamanga, kengele ya dhahabu na komamanga, katika pindo za joho kuizunguka pande zote.
That is, a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate rounde about vpon the skirtes of the robe.
35 Nayo itakuwa juu ya Aruni akitumika; na sauti ya hizo kengele itasikilikana hapo aingiapo ndani ya mahali patakatifu mbele ya Yahweh na hapo atokapo nje, ili kwamba asife.
So it shalbe vpon Aaron, when he ministreth, and his sound shalbe heard, when he goeth into the holy place before the Lord, and when he commeth out, and he shall not dye.
36 Nawe fanya bamba la dhahabu safi na kuchora juu yake, mfano wa machoro ya muhuri, “Mtakatifu kwa Yahweh.”
Also thou shalt make a plate of pure golde, and graue thereon, as signets are grauen, Holines To The Lord,
37 Nawe ulitie hilo bamba katika ukanda wa rangi ya samawi, nalo litakuwa katika kile kilemba; litakuwa upande wa mbele wa kile kilemba.
And thou shalt put it on a blew silke lace, and it shalbe vpon the miter: euen vpon the fore front of the miter shall it be.
38 Nalo litakuwa katika kipaji cha uso cha Aruni, na Aruni atauchukua uovu wa vile vitu vitakatifu, watakavyovitakasa hao wana wa Israeli katika vipawa vyao vyote vitakatifu, nalo litakuwa katika kipaji chake cha uso sikuzote, ili kwamba vipate kukubaliwa mbele za Yahweh.
So it shalbe vpon Aarons forehead, that Aaron may beare the iniquitie of the offrings, which the children of Israel shall offer in all their holy offrings: and it shall be alwayes vpon his forehead, to make them acceptable before the Lord.
39 Na hiyo kanzu utaifuma ya kitani nzuri ya kazi ya urembo, ufanye na kilemba cha nguo ya kitani nzuri, nawe utafanya mshipi wa kazi ya mwenye kutia taraza.
Likewise thou shalt embroyder the fine line coat, and thou shalt make a miter of fine line, but thou shalt make a girdell of needle worke.
40 Kisha utafany kanzu kwa ajili ya wana wa Aruni, nawe wafanyie mishipi, wafanyie na kofia kwa utukufu na uzuri.
Also thou shalt make for Aarons sonnes coates, and thou shalt make the girdels, and bonets shalt thou make them for glorie and comelinesse.
41 Nawe mvike huyo nduguye Aruni na wanawe nao mavazi hayo; nawe watie mafuta, na kuwaweka kwa kazi takatifu, na kuwatakasa, ili wapate kunitumikia mimi katika kazi ya ukuhani.
And thou shalt put them vpon Aaron thy brother, and on his sonnes with him, and shalt anoint them, and fill their handes, and sanctifie them, that they may minister vnto me in the Priestes office.
42 Nawe wafanyie suruali za nguo ya kitani, ili kufunika tupu ya miili yao; suruali hizo zitafika tangu kiunoni hata mapajani.
Thou shalt also make them linen breeches to couer their priuities: from the loynes vnto the thighs shall they reache.
43 Aruni na wanawe watazivaa, hapo watakapoingia katika hema ya kukutania, au hapo watakapoikaribia madhabahu ili watumike katika mahali patakatifu; wasije wakachukua uovu, wakafa; hii itakuwa ni amri ya milele kwake yeye, na kwa wazao wake.
And they shalbe for Aaron and his sonnes when they come into the Tabernacle of the Congregation, or whe they come vnto the altar to minister in the holy place, that they commit not iniquitie, and so die. This shalbe a lawe for euer vnto him and to his seede after him.
