1 Yahweh akamwambia Musa,
And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
2 “Waambie Waisraeli wanitolee sadaka kila mtu nawe utapokea kutoka kwa mtu yeyote atakayetoa kwa moyo mkunjufu. Lazima upokee hizi sadaka kwa ajili yangu.
Speak unto the sons of Israel, that they take for me a heave-offering, —of every man whose heart urgeth him, shall ye take my heave-offering.
3 Hizi ndio sadaka utakazopokea kwao; dhahabu, fedha na shaba,
And, this is the heave-offering which ye shall take of them, —gold and silver and bronze;
4 buluu, zambarau na nyekundu, na nguo za kitani safi, na manyoya ya mbuzi;
and blue, and purple, and crimson and fine linen, and goat’s hair;
5 na ngozi za kondoo dume zilizotiwa rangi nyekundu na ngozi za pomboo, miti ya mjohoro,
and rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins and acacia wood;
6 mafuta ya ile taa, na viungo vya manukato kwa yale mafuta ya kupaka na kwa ule uvumba wenye harufu nzuri;
oil for giving light, —perfumes for the anointing oil, and for fragrant incense;
7 mawe ya shohamu na mawe mengine ya kutiwa kwa ile naivera na kwa kile kifuko cha kifuani.
onyx stones, and setting stones, —for the ephod and for the breastpiece:
8 Waache wanifanyie patakatifu ili nipate kukaa kati yao.
So shall they make for me a sanctuary, —and I will make my habitation in their midst:
9 Lazima ufanye sawa na haya yote nikuoneshayo mfano wa maskani, na vifaa vyake, ndivyo utakavyovifanya.
according to all that, I, am shewing thee, the pattern of the habitation, and the pattern of all the furnishings thereof, even so, shall ye make it.
10 Wana paswa wafanye sanduku la mti wa mjohoro. Urefu wake na uwe dhiraa mbili na nusu; na upana wake moja na nusu, na kwenda juu kwake dhiraa moja na nusu.
And they shall make an ark of acacia wood, -two cubits and a half, the length thereof and, a cubit and a half, the breadth thereof, and, a cubit and a half, the height thereof.
11 Lazima ulifunike nadni kwa dhahabu safi, na utie na ukingo wa dhahabu kulizunguka pande zote.
And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without, shalt thou overlay it, —and thou shalt make thereon a rim of gold, round about.
12 Nawe uta yayusha katika viduara vinne vya dhahabu, na kuviweka katika miguu yake minne; viduara viwili upande mmoja, na viduara viwili upande wake wa pili.
And thou shalt cast for it four rings of gold, and shalt put them on the four feet thereof, —even two rings on the one side thereof, and two rings on the other side thereof.
13 Nawe lazima ufanya miti mirefu ya mshita na kuifunika dhahabu.
And thou shalt make staves, of acacia wood, —and shalt overlay them with gold.
14 Nawe lazima uweka hiyo miti katika vile viduara vilivyo katika pande mbili za sanduku ili kulichukua hilo sanduku.
And thou shalt bring in the staves into the rings, on the sides of the ark, —to bear the ark therewith,
15 Hiyo miti itakaa katika vile viduara vya sanduku; haitaondolewa.
In the rings of the ark, shall remain the staves, —they shall not be removed therefrom.
16 Kisha weka ndani ya sanduku hizo amri nitakazokupa.
And thou shalt put into the ark, —the testimony which I will give unto thee.
17 Nawe lazima utengeneze kifuniko cha dhahabu safi. Urefu wake utakuwa dhiraa mbili na nusu, na upana wake dhiraa moja na nusu.
And thou shalt make a propitiatory, of pure gold, —two cubits and a half, the length thereof, and, a cubit and a half, the breadth thereof,
18 Nawe fanya makerubi mawili ya dhahabu katika hiyo miisho miwili ya kiti cha rehema.
And thou shalt make two cherubim of gold, —of beaten work, shalt thou make them, out of the two ends of the propitiatory.
19 Weka kerubi moja mwisho mmoja wa kiti cha rehema, na kerubi la pili mwisho wa pili. Lazima hao makerubi wawe kitu kimoja na kiti cha rehema.
And make thou one cherub out of this end, and the other cherub out of that end, —out of the propitiatory, shall ye make the cherubim upon the two ends thereof.
20 Na hao makerubi watainua mabawa yao juu, na kukifunika hicho kiti cha rehema kwa mabawa yao. Nyuso zao makerubi zitaelekeana na zitaelekea kiti cha rehema.
And the cherubim shall be spreading out two wings on high—making a shelter with their wings over the propitiatory, with their faces one towards the other, —towards the propitiatory, shall be the faces of the cherubim.
21 Lazima uweke kiti cha rehema juu ya hilo sanduku, kisha uwe hizo amri nitakazokupa ndani ya sanduku.
And thou shalt put the propitiatory upon the ark above, —and in the ark, shalt thou put the testimony, which I will give unto thee.
22 Nami nitaonana nawe hapo katika sanduku. Nitazungumza nawe pale nilipo juu ya kiti cha rehema. Itakuwa katikati ya hao makerubi mawili waliyo juu ya sanduku la ushuhuda nitakapo zungumza na wewe katika mambo yote nitakayokuagiza kwa ajili ya wana wa Israeli.
And I will meet with thee there, and will speak with thee from off the propitiatory, from between the two cherubim, which are upon the ark of the testimony, —whatsoever I may give thee in charge, for the sons of Israel.
23 Nawe fanya meza ya mti wa mshiti. Urefu wake utakuwa dhiraa mbili, na upana wake dhiraa moja, na kwenda juu kwake dhiraa moja na nusu.
And thou shalt make a table, of acacia wood, two cubits, the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
24 Uifunike dhahabu safi na kuifanyia ukingo wa dhahabu wa kuizunguka pande zote.
and thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, —and shalt make thereto a rim of gold, round about;
25 Lazima ufanyie fremu ya kuizunguka pande zote, upana wake utakuwa nyanda nne, ukingo wa dhahabu wa kuuzunguka fremu pande zote.
and thou shalt make thereto a border of a handbreadth, round about, —and shalt make a rim of gold to the border thereof, round about;
26 Uifanyie viduara vinne vya dhahabu na kuvitia vile viduara katika pembe zake nne, katika miguu yake minne ilipo kuwa.
and thou shalt make to it four rings of gold, —and shalt place the rings on the four corners which pertain to the four feet thereof:
27 Vile viduara na viwe karibu na ile fremu ili viwe mahali pa kutilia ile miti, ya kuichukulia meza.
adjoining the border, shall be the rings, —as receptacles for the staves, for lifting the table;
28 Fanya ile miti ya mti wa mshita, na kuifunika dhahabu, kwamba ile meza ichukuliwe kwayo.
and thou shalt make the staves of acacia wood, and shalt overlay them with gold, —and the table shall be lifted there, with;
29 Nawe fanya sahani zake, na miiko yake, na makopo yake, na vikombe vyake vya kumiminia. Vifanye vyote vya dhahabu safi.
and thou shalt make its dishes and its pans and its basins and its bowls, for pouring out therewith, —of pure gold, shalt thou make them.
30 Nawe utaiweka mikate ya wonyesho juu ya meza mbele yangu daima.
And thou shalt place upon the table Presence-bread, before me continually.
31 Nawe fanya kinara cha taa cha dhahabu safi; hicho kinara na kifanywe cha kazi ya kufua, kitako chake, na mti wake, vikombe vyake, na matovu yake, na maua yake, vyote vitakuwa vya kitu kimoja nacho.
And thou shalt make a lampstand of pure gold, of beaten work, shall the lampstand be made, even its base and its shaft its cups, its apples, and its blossoms of the same, shall be:
32 Nacho kitakuwa na matawi sita yenye kutoka ubavuni mwake - matawi matatu ya kinara upande wake mmoja, na matawi matatu ya kinara upande wake wa pili.
with, six branches, coming out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand, out the one side thereof, and three branches of the lampstand, out of the other side thereof:
33 Tawi la kwanza lazima liwe na vikombe vitatu vilivyotengenezwa mfano wa maua ya mlozi katika tawi moja, tovu na ua na vikombe vitatu vilivyofanywa mfano wa maua ya mlozi katika tawi la pili, tovu na ua. Vivyo hivyo hayo matawi yote sita yatokayo katika kile kinara.
three cups like almond-flowers, in the one branch apple and blossom, and, three cups like almond-flowers, in the other branch apple and blossom, so, for the six branches, coming out of the lampstand.
34 Katika hicho kinara, lazima kuwe na vikombe vinne vilivyofanywa mfano wa maua ya mlozi, matovu yake, na maua yake.
And in the lampstand itself, four cups, —like almond-flowers—its apples, and its blossoms;
35 Lazima kuwe na tovu chini ya matawi - mawili la kitu kimoja nacho, na tovu chini ya matawi mawili la kitu kimoja nacho, na tovu chini ya matawi mawili la kitu kimoja nacho, kwa hayo matawi sita yatokayo katika kile kinara.
and an apple under two branches of the same, and, another apple, under two other branches of the same, and another apple under two other branches, of the same, —for the six branches, coming out of the lampstand:
36 Matovu yake na matawi yake yatakuwa ya kitu kimoja nacho, kiwe chote pia kazi moja ya kufua, ya dhahabu safi.
their apples and their branches, of the same, shall be, —all of it, of one beaten work, of pure gold.
37 Lazima nawe uzifanye hivyo vinara saba na taa zake saba, nao wataziwasha hizo taa zake, zitoe nuru mbele yake.
And thou shalt make the lamps thereof seven, and one shall light up its lamps, and it shall give light, over against the face thereof.
38 Na makoleo yake, na visahani vyake, vyote vitakuwa vya dhahabu safi.
And, its snuffers, and its snuff-trays of pure gold.
39 Tumia talanta moja ya dhahabu safi, pamoja na vyombo hivi vyote.
With a talent of pure gold, shall he make it, with all these vessels,
40 Nawe angalia ya kwamba uvifanye kama mfano wake, uliooneshwa mlimani.
And see thou and make them, by the pattern of them, which thou wast caused to behold in the mount
