1 Tega sikio, enyi mbingu, na niruhusu kuzungumza.
Give ear O heavens so let me speak and it may hear the earth [the] words of mouth my.
2 Acha dunia isikie maneno ya kinywa changu. Acha mafundisho yangu yamwagike chini kama mvua, acha usemi wangu udondoke kama umande, kama mvua tulivu juu ya majani laini, na kama mvua za manyunyu juu ya mimea.
May it drop like the rain teaching my may it distil like the dew speech my like showers of rain on grass and like copious showers on vegetation.
3 Kwa maana nitatangaza jina la Yahwe, na kumpatia ukuu Mungu wetu.
For [the] name of Yahweh I will proclaim ascribe greatness to God our.
4 Mwamba, kazi yake ni kamili; kwa maana njia zake ni za haki. Yeye ni Mungu mwaminifu, hana udhalimu. Yeye ni wa haki na mwadilifu.
The rock [is] perfect work his for all ways his [are] justice a God of faithfulness and there not [is] injustice [is] righteous and upright he.
5 Wamefanya yaliyo maovu dhidi yake. Wao sio watoto wake. Ni aibu kwao. Wao ni kizazi kiovu na kilichopindika.
It has acted corruptly to him not children his blemish their a generation perverse and crooked.
6 Je! Unamzawadia Yahwe kwa njia hii, enyi watu wapumbavu na msiojitambua? Je! yeye si baba yenu, yule ambaye aliwaumba? Aliwaumba na kuwaimarisha.
¿ To Yahweh do you repay this O people foolish and not wise ¿ not [is] he father your he created you he he made you and he established you.
7 Kumbukeni siku zile za zamani, tafakari juu ya miaka mingi ya nyuma. Muulize baba yako naye atakuonyesha, wazee wako nao watakuambia.
Remember [the] days of antiquity consider [the] years of a generation and a generation ask father your so he will tell you old [people] your so they may say to you.
8 Pale ambapo Aliye Juu alipowapatia mataifa urithi wao – alipowagawa wanadamu wote, na kuweka mipaka ya watu, na alipoimarisha idadi ya miungu yao.
When gave inheritances to [the] Most High nations when separated he [the] children of humankind he fixed boundaries of peoples to [the] number of [the] people of Israel.
9 Kwa maana fungu la Yahwe ni watu wake; Yakobo ni mgao wa urithi wake.
For [the] portion of Yahweh [is] people his Jacob [is] [the] measured portion of inheritance his.
10 Alimpata katika nchi ya jangwa, na katika jangwa kame na livumalo upepo; alimkinga na kumtunza, alimlinda kama mboni ya jicho lake.
He found it in a land of wilderness and in a wasteland of howling of a desolate place he surrounded it he took care of it he guarded it like [the] pupil of eye his.
11 Kama tai akichungaye kiota chake na kupiga piga mabawa juu ya makinda yake, Yahwe alitandaza mabawa yake na kuwachukua, na kuwabeba kwenye mapapatio yake.
Like an eagle [which] it stirs up nest its over young ones its it hovers it spreads out wings its it takes it it carries it on pinion its.
12 Yahwe pekee alimuongoza, hapakuwa na mungu mgeni pamoja naye.
Yahweh alone he guided it and there not with him [was] a god of foreignness.
13 Alimfanya aendeshe katika maeneo ya juu ya nchi, na alimlisha matunda ya mbugani; alimrutubisha kwa asali kutoka kwenye jiwe, na mafuta kutoka kwenye mwamba mgumu sana.
He caused to ride it on ([the] high places of *Q(k)*) [the] land and it ate fruits of [the] field and he suckled him honey from a rock and oil from flint of rock.
14 Alikula siagi kutoka katika kundi na kunywa maziwa kutoka katika kundi la mifugo, pamoja na mafuta ya wanakondoo, kondoo dume wa Bashani na mbuzi, pamoja na ngano safi kabisa – nawe ulikunywa divai itokayo povu iliyotengenezwa kwa juisi ya mizabibu.
Curd of [the] herd and milk of [the] flock with fat of lambs and rams [the] sons of Bashan and goats with [the] fat of [the] kidneys of wheat and blood of grape[s] you drank wine.
15 Lakini Yeshuruni akakua kwa unene na kupiga mateke – ulikua kwa unene, ulikua mnene sana, na ulikuwa umekula ujazo wako – alimuacha Mungu aliyemuumba, na kukataa Mwamba wa wokovu wake.
And he grew fat Jeshurun and he kicked you have grown fat you have become bloated you have become gorged and he abandoned God [who] he made him and he treated with contempt [the] rock of salvation his.
16 Walimfanya Yahwe apatwe wivu kwa miungu yao ya ajabu; kwa maudhi yao walimkasirisha.
They made jealous him by strange [gods] by abominations they provoked to anger him.
17 Walitoa dhabihu kwa mapepo, ambayo sio Mungu – miungu ambayo hawajaijua, miungu ambayo imejitokeza hivi karibuni, miungu ambayo mababu zenu hawakuogopa.
They sacrificed to the demons [which] not [are] God gods [which] not they had known them new [gods] [which] from near they had come [which] not they had known about them ancestors your.
18 Umetelekeza Mwamba, ambao ulikuwa baba yako, na ukasahau Mungu aliyekuzaa.
[the] rock [which] he fathered You you forgot and you forgot God [who] gave birth to you.
19 Yahwe aliliona hili na kuwakataa, kwa sababu watoto wake wa kiume na mabinti zake walimchokoza.
And he saw Yahweh and he spurned from [the] provocation of sons his and daughters his.
20 “Nitaficha uso wangu kwao”, alisema, “nami nitaona mwisho wao utakuaje; maana wao ni kazazi kaidi, watoto ambao sio waaminifu.
And he said I will hide face my from them I will see what? [will be] end their for [are] a generation of perversiti they children [whom] not faithfulness [is] in them.
21 Wamenifanya kuwa na wivu kwa kile ambacho sio mungu na kunikasirisha kwa mambo yao yasiyo na maana. Nitawafanya waone wivu kwa wale ambao sio taifa; nitawakasirisha kwa taifa pumbavu.
They they have made jealous me by not a god they have provoked to anger me by vanities their and I I will make jealous them by not a people by a nation foolish I will provoke to anger them.
22 Kwa maana moto kuwashwa kwa hasira yangu na inawaka hadi chini mwa Sheoli; inameza ulimwengu na mavuno yake; inawasha moto misingi ya milima. (Sheol h7585)
For a fire it has been kindled by anger my and it has burned to Sheol lowest and it has consumed [the] earth and produce its and it has set ablaze [the] foundations of [the] mountains. (Sheol h7585)
23 Nitarundia maafa juu yao; nitafyatua mishale yangu yote kwao;
I will catch up on them calamities arrows my I will use up on them.
24 Watapotea kwa njaa na kumezwa kwa joto liwakalo na uharibifu mchungu; nitatuma kwao meno ya wanyama wa mwituni, pamoja na sumu ya vitu vitambaao mavumbini.
[people] weakened of Famine and [people] consumed of plague and destruction bitter and tooth of animals I will send on them with [the] venom of [things which] crawl of [the] dust.
25 Nje panga litawatwaa, na ndani ya vyumba hofu kuu itafanya hivyo. Wote mwanamume kijana na bikra nitawaangamiza, mchanga anyonyaye, na mwanamume mwenye mvi.
From outside it will make childless a sword and [will be] from inner rooms terror both young man as well as young woman a suckling-child with a person of gray hair.
26 Nilisema nitawasambaza mbali, kwamba nitafanya kumbukumbu yao kukoma miongoni mwa wanadamu.
I said I will cut in pieces them I will make cease from humankind memory their.
27 Isingekuwa kwamba naogopa uchokozi wa adui, na kwamba adui zake wangehukumu kimakosa, na kwamba wangesema, “Mkono wetu umeinuliwa,” ningefanya haya yote.
If not [the] provocation of an enemy I was afraid lest they should misconstrue opponents their lest they should say hands our it was raised and not Yahweh he did all this.
28 Kwa maana Israeli ni taifa linalopungukiwa na hekima, na hakuna ufahamu ndani mwao.
For [are] a nation perishing of counsel they and there not in them [is] understanding.
29 Ah laiti wangekuwa na hekima, wangeelewa hili, na kuzingatia ujio wa hatima yao!
If they were wise they will comprehend this they will understand end their.
30 Inawezekanaje mmoja kufukuza maelfu, na wawili kuweka makumi elfu mbioni, isipokuwa Mwamba wao hajawauza, na Yahwe hajawaachilia kwao?
How? will he pursue one [person] a thousand and two [people] will they put to flight? ten thousand if in-deed rock their he had sold them and Yahweh he had delivered up them.
31 Kwa maana mwamba wa maadui zetu si kama Mwamba wetu, kama vile maadui zetu wanavyokiri.
For not [is] like rock our rock their and enemies our assessments.
32 Kwa maana mzabibu wao unatoka kwenye mzabibu wa Sodoma, na kwenye mashamba ya Gomorra; na zabibu zake ni zabibu za sumu; vishada vyao ni vichungu.
For [is] from [the] vine of Sodom vine their and from [the] terraced fields of Gomorrah grapes their [are] grapes of poison clusters [are] bitter of them.
33 Mvinyo yao ni sumu ya nyoka na sumu katili ya nyoka.
[is the] venom of Serpents wine their and [the] poison of cobras cruel.
34 Huu mpango haujafichwa kwangu kwa siri, na kufungwa kabisa katika hazina zangu?
¿ Not [is] that stored up with me sealed up in storehouses my.
35 Kisasi ni changu kutoa, na fidia, katika muda mguu wao utakapotereza; kwa maana siku ya maafa kwao ipo karibu, na vitu vitakavyokuja juu yao vitaharakisha kutendeka.
[belong] to Me vengeance and retribution to a time [when] it will slip foot their for [is] near [the] day of disaster their and it will make haste impending [things] to them.
36 Kwa maana Yahwe atatoa haki kwa watu wake, na atawahurumia watumishi wake. Atahakikisha kuwa nguvu yao imetoweka, na hakuna atakayesalia, iwe watumwa au watu huru.
For he will judge Yahweh people his and on servants his he will have compassion if he will see that it has been used up hand and there not [is] shut up and freed.
37 Kisha atasema, “wako wapi miungu yao, mwamba ambao wamekimbilia? –
And he will say where? [are] gods their [the] rock [which] they sought refuge in it.
38 miungu iliyokula sadaka zao nene na kunywa mvinyo wa sadaka zao za kinywaji? Na wainuke na kukusaidia; na wawe ulinzi kwako.
Which [the] fat of sacrifices their they ate they drank [the] wine drink-offering their let them arise and let them help you let it be over you a shelter.
39 Tazama sasa mimi, hata mimi, ni Mungu, na kwamba hakuna mungu tofauti yangu; ninaua, na ninaleta uhai; ninajeruhi, na ninaponya, na hakuna mtu atakayekuokoa kutoka kwa uwezo wangu.
See - now that I I [am] he and there not [is] a god with me I I put to death and I may restore to life I wound and I I heal and there not from hand my [is] a deliverer.
40 Kwa maana ninainua mikono yangu mbinguni na kusema, “Niishivyo milele, nitatenda.
For I lift up to heaven hand my and I will say [am] living I for ever.
41 Nitakapong’oa panga langu lingaaro, na mkono wangu utakapoanza kuleta haki, nitalipiza kisasi juu ya maadui zangu, na kuwalipa wale wote wanichukiao.
If I sharpen [the] lightning of sword my so it may take hold on judgment hand my I will return vengeance to foes my and to [those who] hate me I will repay.
42 Nitafanya mishale yangu kulewa na damu, na panga langu litameza nyama kwa damu ya waliouawa na mateka, na kutoka kwa vichwa vya viongozi wa adui.”
I will make drunk arrows my from blood and sword my it will devour flesh from [the] blood of [the] slain and [the] captive from [the] head of [the] leaders of [the] enemy.
43 Furahi, enyi mataifa, na watu wa Mungu, kwa maana atalipiza kisasi damu ya watumishi wake; atalipiza kisasi juu ya maadui zake, naye atafanya upatanisho kwa ajili ya nchi yake, kwa watu wake.
Shout for joy O nations people his for [the] blood of servants his he will avenge and vengeance he will return to foes his and he will make atonement for land his people his.
44 Musa alikuja na kunena maneno yote ya wimbo huu masikioni mwa watu, yeye na Yoshua mwana wa Nuni.
And he came Moses and he spoke all [the] words of the song this in [the] ears of the people he and Hoshea [the] son of Nun.
45 Kisha Musa alimaliza kunena maneno haya yote kwa Israeli yote.
And he finished Moses to speak all the words these to all Israel.
46 Aliwaambia, “Imarisheni akili yenu kwa haya maneno ambayo nimewashuhudia kwenu leo, ili kwamba muwaamuru watoto wenu kuyashika, maneno yote ya sheria hii.
And he said to them set heart your to all the words which I [am] warning you this day that you will command them children your to take care to do all [the] words of the law this.
47 Kwa maana hili si jambo dogo kwako, kwa sababu ni uzima wako, na kupitia jambo hili utarefusha siku zako katika nchi ambayo unakwenda juu ya Yordani kumiliki.”
For not [is] a word [too] empty it for you for it [is] lives your and by the word this you will prolong days on the land where you [are] about to pass over the Jordan there towards to take possession of it.
48 Yahwe alizungumza na Musa katika siku hiyo hiyo na kusema,
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses on [the] substance of the day this saying.
49 “Nenda katika usawa huu wa milima wa Abarimu, juu ya mlima wa Nebo, ambao upo katika nchi ya Moabu, mkabala na Yeriko. Utatazama nchi ya Kanani, ambayo ninawapatia watu wa Israeli kama miliki yao.
Go up to [the] mountain of the Abarim this [the] mountain of Nebo which [is] in [the] land of Moab which [is] on [the] face of Jericho and see [the] land of Canaan which I [am] about to give to [the] people of Israel to a possession.
50 Utakufa katika mlima utakaopanda, na utakusanywa kwa watu wako, kama Haruni Muisraeli mwenzako alivyokufa juu ya mlima wa Hori na kukusanywa kwa watu wake. Hii
And die on the mountain where you [are] about to go up there towards and be gathered to people your just as he died Aaron brother your on Hor the mountain and he was gathered to people his.
51 itatendeka kwa sababu haukuwa mwaminifu kwangu miongoni mwa watu wa Israeli katika maji ya Meriba kule Kadeshi, katika jangwa la Zini; kwa sababu haukunitendea utukufu na heshima miongoni mwa watu wa Israeli.
On that you acted unfaithfully against me in among [the] people of Israel at [the] waters of Meribah Kadesh [the] wilderness of Zin on that not you honored as holy me in among [the] people of Israel.
52 Kwa maana utaona nchi mbele yako, lakini hautakwenda kule, katika nchi ninayowapatia watu wa Israeli.”
For from before you will see the land and there towards not you will go into the land which I [am] about to give to [the] people Israel.
