2 Petro 1
1 Simon Petro, Mtumwa na Mtume wa Yesu Kristo, Kwa wale walioipokea imani ile ile ya thamani kama tulivyoipokea sisi, imani iliyo ndani ya haki ya Mungu na mwokozi wetu Yesu Kristo.
(Simon *NK(o)*) Peter a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ To those equally precious with ours having obtained a faith through [the] righteousness of the God of us and Savior Jesus Christ.
2 Neema iwe kwenu; amani iongezeke kupitia maarifa ya Mungu na Bwana wetu Yesu.
Grace to you and peace would be multiplied in [the] knowledge of God and of Jesus the Lord of us.
3 Kupitia maarifa ya Mungu tumepata mambo yake yote kwa ajili ya uchaji wamaisha, Toka kwa Mungu aliyetuita kwa ajili ya uzuri wa utukufu wake.
Accordingly all things to us by the divine power of Him toward life and godliness having himself given through the knowledge of the [One who] having called us ([by His] own *N(K)O*) (glory *N(k)O*) and (excellence, *N(k)O*)
4 Kwa njia hii alitutumainishia ahadi kuu za thamani. Alifanya hili ili kutufanya warith wa asili ya Mungu, kwa kadiri tunavyoendelea kuuacha uovu wa dunia hii.
through which the precious and magnificent to us promises He has himself given, so that through these you may become of [the] divine partakers nature having escaped the in (the *no*) world in desire decay.
5 Kwa sababu hii, fanyeni bidii kuongeza uzuri kwa njia ya imani yenu, kwa sababu ya uzuri, maarifa.
And very [reason] for this now earnestness all having brought in do supplement into the faith of you virtue, into and virtue knowledge,
6 Kupitia maarifa, kiasi, na kupitia kiasi saburi, na kupitia saburi, utauwa.
into then knowledge self-control, into then self-control endurance, into then endurance godliness,
7 Kupitia utauwa upendo wa ndugu na kupitia upendo wa ndugu, upendo.
in then godliness brotherly affection, in then brotherly affection love.
8 Kama mambo haya yamo ndani yenu, yakiendelea kukua ndani yenu, basi ninyi hamtakuwa tasa au watu msiozaa matunda katika maarifa ya Bwana wetu Yesu Kristo.
These things for in you being and abounding neither idle nor unfruitful make [you] as to the of the Lord of us Jesus Christ knowledge.
9 Lakini yeyote asiyekuwa na mambo haya, huyaona mambo ya karibu tu; yeye ni kipofu. amesahau utakaso wa dhambi zake za kale.
In whomever for not are present these things, blind he is being short sighted, forgetfulness having received of the purification the former of him (sins. *NK(o)*)
10 Kwa hiyo, ndugu zangu, fanyeni juhudi ili kujihakikishia uteule na wito kwa ajili yenu. Kama mtayafanya haya, hamtajikwaa.
Therefore rather, brothers, do be diligent sure your calling and election to make; these things for practicing certainly not shall you stumble at any time.
11 Hivyo mtajipatia wingi wa lango la kuingilia katika ufalme wa milele wa Bwana wetu na mwokozi Yesu Kristo. (aiōnios g166)
In this way for richly will be supplied to you the entrance into the eternal kingdom of the Lord of us and Savior Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
12 Kwa hiyo mimi nitakuwa tayari kuwakumbusha mambo haya kila mara, hata kama mnayafahamu, na sasa mmekuwa imara katika kweli.
Therefore (I will be ready *N(K)O*) always you to remind concerning these things though knowing [them] and strengthened in the being present [in you] truth.
13 Nafikiria kuwa niko sahihi kuwaamsha na kuwakumbusha juu ya mambo haya, ningali nimo katika hema hii.
Right now I esteem it, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir up you by putting [you] in remembrance;
14 Kwa maana najua kuwa si muda mrefu nitaiondoa hema yangu, kama Bwana Yesu Kristo alivyonionyesha.
knowing that imminent is the putting off of the tabernacle of mine, even as also the Lord of us Jesus Christ has made clear to me.
15 Nitajitahidi kwa bidii kwa ajili yenu ili mkumbuke mambo haya baada ya mimi kuondoka.
I will be diligent now also at every time to have for you after my departure these things a lasting remembrance to make.
16 Kwa kuwa sisi hatukufuata hadthi zilizoingizwa kwa ustadi pale tulipowaeleza juu ya nguvu na kujidhihirisha kwa Bwana wetu Yesu Kristo, bali sisi tulikuwa mashahidi wa utukufu wake.
Not for contrived fables having followed we have made known to you the of the Lord of us Jesus Christ power and coming, but eyewitnesses having been of His majesty.
17 Yeye alipokea Utukufu na heshima toka kwa Mungu baba pale sauti iliposikika toka katika utukufu mkuu ikisema, “Huyu ndiye mwanangu, mpendwa wangu ambaye nimependezwa naye.”
Having received for from God [the] Father honor and glory a voice was brought to Him such as follows by the Majestic Glory: The Son of Mine beloved (of Mine *NO*) this is, in whom I myself found delight.
18 Tuliisikia sauti hii ikitokea mbinguni pale tulipokuwa naye kwenye ule mlima mtakatifu.
And this voice we ourselves heard from heaven having been brought with Him being in the holy (*ko*) mountain.
19 Tunalo hili neno la unabii lililothibitika, ambalo kwalo mwafanya vyema kulitekeleza. Ni kama taa ing'aayo gizani mpaka kuchapo na nyota za mawio zionekanazo katika mioyo yenu.
And we have more certain the prophetic word, to which well you do taking heed as to a lamp shining in [a] dark place until this day may have shone through may have shone through and [the] morning star may have arisen in the hearts of you;
20 Tambueni haya ya kwamba, hakuna unabii unaoandikwa kwa sababu ya kujifikirisha kwa nabii mwenyewe.
this first knowing that any prophecy of Scripture of its own interpretation not is.
21 Kwa kuwa hakuna unabii uliokuja kwa mapenzi ya mwanadamu, isipokuwa wanadamu waliwezeshwa na Roho Mtakatifu aliyeongea toka kwa Mungu.
Not for by [the] will of man was brought prophecy at any time but by [the] Spirit Holy being carried spoke (*k*) (from *N(K)O*) of God men.
