2 Wafalme 14
1 Katika mwaka wa pili wa Yehoashi mwana wa Yehoazi, mfalme wa Israeli, Amazia mwana wa Yoashi, mfalme wa Yuda, alianza kutawala.
Yn the secounde yeer of Joas, sone of Joachas, kyng of Israel, Amasie, sone of Joas, kyng of Juda, regnyde.
2 Alikuwa na umri wa miaka ishirini na tanao wakati alipoanza kutawala; alitawala kwa mda wa miaka ishirini na tisa katika Yerusalemu.
Amasie was of fyue and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne; forsothe he regnyde in Jerusalem nyne and twenti yeer; the name of his modir was Joade of Jerusalem.
3 Mama yake alikuwa anaitwa Yehoyadani, wa Yerusalemu. Alifanya yale yaliyo mema usoni mwa macho ya Yahwe, sio kama baba yake Daudi. Alifanya kila kitu ambacho Yoashi, baba yake, alichukuwa amekifanya.

6 Ila hakuwaweka watoto wa wale wauaji kwenye kifo; isipokuwa, alifanya kutokana na kile kilichokuwa kimeandikwa kwenye sheria, kwenye kitabu cha Musa, kama Yahwe alivyokuwa ameamuru, akisema, “Wababa wasife kwa ajili ya watoto wao, wala watoto wasife kwa ajili ya makosa ya wazazi wao. Isipokuwa, kila mtu atakufa kwa ajili ya dhambi zake mwenyewe.”
but he killide not the sones of hem that hadden slayn `the kyng, bi that that is writun in the book of the lawe of Moyses, as the Lord comaundide to Moises, and seide, Fadris schulen not die for the sones, nethir the sones for the fadris, but eche man schal die in his owne synne.

15 Kama ilivyo kwa mambo mengine yamhusuyo Yehoashi, yote aliyoyafanya, ushujaa wake, na jinsi alivyopigana na Amazia mfalme wa Yuda, je hayakuandikwa kwenye kitabu cha matukio ya mfalme wa Israeli?

16 Kisha Yehoashi akalala na wazee wake na ailizikwa katika Samaria pamoja na wafalme wa Israeli, na Yeroboamu, mwanaye, akawa mfalme katika eneo lake.
And Joas slepte with hise fadris, and was biried in Samarie with the kyngis of Israel; and Jeroboam, his sone, regnede for hym.
17 Amazia mwana wa Yoashi, mfalme wa Yuda, akaishi miaka kumi na tano baada ya Yehoashi mwana wa Yehoahazi, mfalme wa Israeli.
Forsothe Amasie, sone of Joas, kyng of Juda, lyuede fyue and twenti yeer, after that Joas, sone of Joachaz, kyng of Israel, was deed.
18 Kama ilivyo kwa mambo mengine yanayomhusu Amazia, je hayakuandikwa kwenye kitabu cha matukio ya mfalme wa Yuda?

19 Wakafanya njama dhidi ya Amazia katika Yerusalimu, akakimbilia Lakishi. Akakimbia hadi Lakishi, lakini wakawatuma watu kumfuata hadi Lakishi na kumuua huko.

24 Akafanya yaliyo maovu usoni mwa Yahwe. Hakuziacha dhambi zake za Yeroboamu mwana wa Nabeti, ambaye aliisababisha Israeli kuasi.
and dide that, that is yuel bifor the Lord; he yede not awei fro alle the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.

29 Yeroboamu akalala na mababu zake, pamoja na mfalme wa Israeli, na Zekaria mtoto wake akawa mfalme katika sehemu yake.
And Jeroboam slepte with hise fadris, the kyngis of Israel; and Azarie, his sone, regnede for hym.
