1 Katika mwaka wa saba wa Yehu, utawala wa Yoashi ulianza; alitawala kwa mda wa miaka arobaini huko Yerusalimu. Mama yake alikuwa anaitwa Sibia, wa Beersheba.

Makuhani ambao walikuwa wakilinda mlango wa hekalu wakatumbukiza pesa zote ambazo zilizokuwa zimeletwa kwenye nyumba ya Yahwe.
