2 Wakorintho 5
1 Tunajua kwamba kama maskani ya ulimwenguni ambayo tunaishi humo yanaharibiwa, tunalo jengo kutoka kwa Mungu. Ni nyumba isiyotengenezwa kwa mikono ya wanadamu, bali ni nyumba ya milele, katika mbingu. (aiōnios g166)
We know for that if the earthly of us house the tent shall be destroyed, a building from God we have, a house not made with hands eternal in the heavens. (aiōnios g166)
2 Kwa kuwa katika hema hii tunaugua, tukitamani kuvikwa kwa maskani yetu mbinguni.
And indeed in this we groan, the dwelling of us which [is] from heaven to be clothed with longing;
3 Tunatamani kwa ajili ya hii kwa sababu kwa kuivaa hatutaonekana kuwa tu uchi.
(If even *NK(o)*) even (having put off *N(K)O*) not naked we will be found.
4 Kwa hakika wakati tuko ndani ya hema hii, twaugua tukilemewa. Hatutaki kuvuliwa. Badala yake, tunataka kuvalishwa, ili kwamba kile kilicho kufa kiweze kumezwa na uzima.
And for those being in the tent we groan being burdened, (because *N(k)O*) that not we do wish to be unclothed but to be clothed, that may be swallowed up the mortal by life.
5 Yule aliyetuandaa sisi kwa kitu hiki ni Mungu, ambaye alitupa sisi Roho kama ahadi ya kile kitakacho kuja.
The [One] now having prepared us for very this [is] God, (and *k*) having given to us the pledge of the Spirit.
6 Kwa hiyo muwe na ujasiri siku zote. Muwe macho kwamba wakati tuko nyumbani katika mwili, tuko mbali na Bwana.
being confident therefore always and knowing that being at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord;
7 Kwa kuwa tunatembea kwa imani, sio kwa kuona. Kwa hiyo tunaujasiri.
through faith for we walk, not through sight,
8 Ni bora tuwe mbali kutoka kwenye mwili na nyumbani pamoja na Bwana.
We are confident now and we are pleased rather to be absent out of the body and to be at home with the Lord.
9 Kwa hiyo tunaifanya kuwa lengo letu, kama tukiwa nyumbani au mbali, tumpendeze yeye.
Therefore also we are ambitious, whether being at home or being away, well-pleasing to Him to be;
10 Kwa kuwa lazima wote tuonekane mbele ya kiti cha hukumu cha Kristo, ili kwamba kila mmoja aweze kupokea kile kinachostahili kwa mambo yaliyofanyika katika mwili, ikiwa ni kwa uzuri au kwa ubaya.
For all of us to be revealed it behooves before the judgment seat of Christ, that may receive back each the [things done] in the body according to what he did, whether good or (evil. *N(k)O*)
11 Kwa hiyo, kwa kuijua hofu ya Bwana, tunawashawishi watu. Jinsi tulivyo, inaonekana wazi na Mungu. Ninatumaini kuwa inaeleweka pia kwenye dhamiri zenu.
Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord men we persuade to God and we have been made manifest; I hope now also in the consciences of you to have been made manifest.
12 Hatujaribu kuwashawishi ninyi tena kutuona sisi kama wakweli. Badala yake, tunawapa ninyi sababu ya kujivuna kwa ajili yetu, ili kwamba muweze kuwa na jibu kwa wale wanaojivunia kuhusu mwonekano lakini sio kile kilicho ndani ya moyo.
Not (for *k*) again ourselves are we commending to you, but occasion are giving to you of boasting on behalf of us, so that you may have [an answer] toward those in appearance boasting and (not *N(k)O*) (in *no*) [the] heart.
13 Kwa kuwa ikiwa kama tumerukwa na akili, ni kwa ajili ya Mungu. Na kama tuko kwenye akili zetu timamu, ni kwa ajili yenu.
If for we are crazy, [it is] for God; or if we are sober-minded [it is] for you.
14 Kwa kuwa upendo wa Kristo watushurutisha, kwa sababu tuna uhakika na hili: kuwa mtu mmoja alikufa kwa ajili ya wote, na kwa hiyo wote wamekufa.
The for love of Christ compels us having concluded this, that (if *k*) One for all has died; therefore all have died.
15 Na Kristo alikufa kwa ajili ya wote, ili kwamba wale wanaoishi wasiishi tena kwa ajili yao wenyewe. Badala yake, lazima waishi kwa ajili yake yeye ambaye alikufa na alifufuliwa.
And for all He died, that those living no longer to themselves may live but to the [One] for them having died and having been raised again.
16 Kwa sababu hii, kuanzia sasa na kuendelea hatumuhukumu mtu kulingana na viwango vya wanadamu, ingawa hapo kwanza tulimtazama Kristo katika namna hii. Lakini sasa hatumuhukumu yeyote kwa namna hii tena.
Therefore we ourselves from now no [one] know according to [the] flesh; If (now *k*) even we have regarded according to flesh Christ, yet now no longer no longer we regard [Him thus].
17 Kwa hiyo, ikiwa mtu yeyote yuko ndani ya Kristo, yeye ni kiumbe kipya. Mambo ya kale yamepita. Tazama, yamekuwa mapya.
Therefore if anyone [is] in Christ, [he is] a new creation; The old things have passed away, behold has come into being new (all things. *K*)
18 Vitu vyote hivi vyatoka kwa Mungu. Alitupatanisha sisi kwake mwenyewe kupitia Kristo, na ametupatia huduma ya upatanisho.
And all things [are] of God the [One who] having reconciled us to Himself through (Jesus *K*) Christ and having given to us the ministry of reconciliation,
19 Hiyo ni kusema, katika Kristo, Mungu anaupatanisha ulimwengu kwake mwenyewe, sio kuhesabu makosa yao dhidi yao. Anawekeza kwetu ujumbe wa upatanisho.
how for God was in Christ [the] world reconciling to Himself, not reckoning to them the trespasses of them, and having put into us the word of reconciliation.
20 Kwa hiyo tunateuliwa kama wawakilishi wa Kristo, kana kwamba Mungu alikuwa anafanya rufaa yake kupitia sisi. Tunawasihi ninyi kwa ajili ya Kristo: “Mpatanishwe kwa Mungu!”
For Christ therefore we are ambassadors, as though God is beseeching through us; We implore on behalf of Christ: do be reconciled to God.
21 Alimfanya Kristo kuwa sadaka kwa ajili ya dhambi zetu. Yeye ndiye ambaye hakutenda dhambi. Alifanya hivi ili tuweze kufanyika haki ya Mungu katika yeye.
The [One] (for *k*) not having known sin for us sin He made, so that we ourselves (may become *N(k)O*) [the] righteousness of God in Him.
